I’m impressed by the will to live of that tree… it was small and stuck inside the cave like how people get stuck in life. It managed to grow up and out and into the sunlight. I’m surprised there was enough light for it to even be able to do that. I love trees. I’m greatful for the clean air they give us. I wish we could have found other ways to survive without having to harm them.

We can love cars, trains, ships, flowers, trees, but every single one of them, including us, are machines. We think and feel, cars and trees do not. Yet I too feel trees are special, but they give to us warmth in the winter, shelter from the rain, food throughout the year, and sometimes clothes. They can be family friends, but should we hold their value over that of our own lives? We are the jewels of the universe, all sentient beings are, if we treated each other this way, maybe we would not destroy whole forests?

When Sebastian didn't want to go through the narrow part of the Cave it reminded me of the scene in the Life of Brian movie when the leader of the Peoples Front of Judea didn't crawl along the Sewers with the rest to kidnap Herods wife because he "had a bad back".
These carvings look spookily similar to the "Wandjina" -- cave art of 'alien spirit beings' made by Australian Aboriginals 4,000 - 18,000 years ago!!
The "Wandjina" also have 2 big black eyes, no mouth, wear strange 'suits', often with helmet-like halo's/auras around the head.

I'm watching an old episode of Start Trek tonight and do my best to switch over to Josh's show during commercials but he seems to have commercials at the same time as Star Trek. finally I find Josh looking at some night video recordings of lights, blur, lines across across the tv screen and Josh is literally jumping off his seat with "Oooooosss" and "Aaahhhhsss" at some recordings obviously he's excited about being possible aliens or UFO's! I'm like "Wow! what's he seeing" as I try to make sense of the the lines across my tv and blurry lights. Suddenly I make sense of what I'm looking at! I don't think those caves are unexplored. We've had access to drones for decades now so who knows how long the government had them before the technology was released to civilians. They would be foolish not to use high tech drones to explore that area.

They used their flashlights because it was too dark to see, i.e. no light. You can't get rained on if there is no source for the rain. If there was rain on the rocks there would be no carvings because the rain would have weathered the rock.
