Bandit Emblem, by RandomWizard, follows a group of evil bandits, exploring what they get up to after the lord game overs in the prologue. I don't know anything beyond that broad concept, but it sounds neat.

I think that "Sacred Stones goons vs Awakening Casual mode" comment, while accurate in sentiment, was ultimately an understatement. So many of the blue units consistently doubling in the early game is on another level of mismatch.
