At the embassy of my partner's country located in Mexico they told me that they do not legalize the birth certificate, so we should send it to the embassy that is in charge of that (near my partner's country, since there is no Mexican embassy in his country) but he is in a third country, where he already requested a tourist visa for Mexico, thank God they gave it to him. Now we don't know whether to make a new appointment at the Mexican embassy in the third country to request the legalization of his birth certificate, because they may wonder why a simple tourist would want it. So when thinking about the option of sending his document to the country close to his home country, we don't know if they want to do it, maybe they wonder why he don't do it in the third country where he is studying? I'm confused. Will there be a way to find where to get married in Mexico without them asking for legalization? In our case it is legalization and not an apostille, due to the country in question. Hi Frank! I do know that if you have any USA visa, then you can also enter Mexico. But I suggest she calls the Mexican Embassy in the Philippines or you call the immigrations in Mexico to be 💯 sure 🙏🏻
The first time I went to Mexico, I received the immigration form. However the other 3 times I went there, I did not receive that. They just stamped my passport. Do you know why? And do you think I should ask for it the next time? My partner and I are planning to marry the next time I go. Thanks
Hello! I think since 2022, they no longer provide the immigration form, they only stamp your passport , so that should be okay 👌🏻 in the stamp they write how many days you are allowed to stay.

Con relación a tus preguntas, lo mejor será que te acerques directamente a preguntar en la oficialía del registro civil donde se piensan casar, ya que los requisitos pueden variar. En nuestro caso (Estado de México), el certificado de nacimiento tuvo que ser traducido por un perito de la fiscalía del Estado. Sobre el traductor, yo le pregunté al juez directamente unas semanas antes de la boda si era necesario contar con traductor y me comentó que no era necesario, pero si queríamos tener traductor, no había inconveniente (de hecho así lo hicimos).
@@rodrigomolinacapetillo760 no nos pidieron testigos, en el registro civil nos comentaron que quitaron ese requisito desde la pandemia. Pero en caso de que te pidan, generalmente son 4 testigos, tienen que ser mexicanos y mayores de edad, puede ser cualquiera, siempre y cuando los conozcan y consten que no tengan impedimento legal para que se casen.

Hola qué tal, amigo! Lo primero es que el acta de nacimiento de tu novia se encuentre apostillada por el Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) de Filipinas. Esto lo puede hacer tu novia o sus familiares si se encuentran allá. Una vez que se tenga apostillada, pregunta en la oficina del registro civil si ellos cuentan con algún perito traductor. En mi caso, tuve que ir a la Fiscalía de mi estado, al área de peritos diversos y allí solicité la traducción del acta de nacimiento. Te recomiendo que pidas varias copias, porque la que se queda el registro civil ya no te la regresan y es posible que necesites su acta para más trámites en México. Espero haber respondido tu duda, cualquier duda estoy a tus órdenes!

Depende de dónde te vayas a casar, te recomiendo que acudas a la oficialía del registro civil más cercano al domicilio donde será la boda (aunque también te puedes casar en sus oficinas y allí podrías elegir cualquiera de tu estado) y preguntes si ellos cuentan con perito o si te mandan con la fiscalía. A mí el juez me dijo que a veces hasta aceptan traducciones por parte de la facultad de lenguas de las universidades.

Hola, no es posible solicitar matrimonio en la embajada mexicana, ya que no son la instancia competente. Puedes solicitar una visa de turismo y casarte en Mexico, para que puedas obtener una visa de residente temporal y despues de 2 años, puedes aplicar para una visa de residente permanente.
