Watching these in fashion class, very easy to understand
Thanks for your tutorial, very clear and easy to understand.
Beautiful .
A very good lesson..my little friend wanted to know how many threads you had to use as I had just gotten done showing her how to take them apart..Many do not mention the amount of thread used or the effect different numbers of threads will have on how the stitch will look..but a good teaching video...
This video sure helped a lot thank you so much 🫶
Wonderful tutorial! Thx so much for the clear, simple instructions. How many strands of embroidery thread to use for the lazy daisy?
This is 6 strands so it's easy to see in the video. You can use that amount or less, depending on the look you want. I usually use 3 or sometimes 2 if it's a really small flower.
This was incredibly helpful!!! I can now confidently say I can do a lazy daisy stitch! Thank you so much!!!
You really are an excellent teacher. Thank you. 😊
Thank you!
Thank you!!! I just got started embroidery
I'm a complete beginner to embroidery and wanted to start off with daisy and this is the easiest and best tutorial I found on youtube. Thank you so much.
Appreciate all of your tutorials! I just started embroidering a few months ago and you are always my go to for new stitches! Thank you
Thank you so much I found this very difficult before I found this video
Love your tutes. So well explained and no silly chatter. Thanks so much.
You literally saved my first quarter of school this year. MISS MA'AM, YOU DESERVE THE WHOLE WORLD.
this is so helpful! i've been slowly teaching myself how to sew and this is the perfect format for me to absorb information :)
Thanks sooo much! It really helps to actually see it done.
Thank you so much! I needed a refresher!
Thank you so much for this easy to follow tutorial! I am embroidering a hand bag and needed to learn how to do a lazy daisy stitch quickly. This was perfect! Thanks again!
Thank you for all your help!
I can't believe that this stitch is Just Simple...Thanks for the tutorial😊...Now I know how to Do a Lazy daisy ;-; sadly my thread is thin
this channel is a godsend, thank you so much
I don't get it. I know how to do the stitch; I've done it successfully w 6 strands, and also reverse chain stitched (pretty much the non isolated version of LD stitch) a 7 word quote in 2 strands. But I've been trying to do them in my project in 1 and 2 strand and almost every time they ended up not keeping the teardrop shape and turning into straight stitches. I don't get it. I snipped the threads out so many times I made a visible hole in the bag I was stitching so I threw it. Bought it wholesale so only about £1 wasted but also wasted 5 hours of stitching I'd done previously before these issues.
Is LD just something that can't be done with 1 or 2 strands? Having been able to do it wirh more strands, I feel like a failure and I just feel dumb (always happens when I can't get something right which I've managed to before) especially as I'm now doubting myself a bit (after that debacle tried on a sampler I was halfway through and I still can't do it) as I wanted to start selling embroidered products online and no one's goinf to buy ones with ugly f'd up LD stitch are they?
My literal reaction when I did it: :DD (Thank you so much for a quick and easy tutorial!!!)
Wow so beautiful work I like your embroidery 😘😘😘😘❤️❤️
I like how straightforward your tutorials are, thank you!
This is so so helpful thank you - has been my new isolation hobby!
Fantastic tutorial for lazy daisy explained in the most simplest terms thank you so much
Omg THANK YOU ! I'm pretty at embroidery and had the project had very unclear instructions !
Thank you! This helped so much
Ty your the only one I could understand and follow . I m.j will go to your site.just learningmat 67
Thank you for your stitching
I follow the instructions but it doesn’t leave my petal looking round, very frustrating. I’m not new to embroidery, but am new to this stitch and despite it being very simple it does not work out the way you show here.
Make sure you don't pull too tightly. You want the loop to retain the teardrop shape and then you just tack it down.
is that double stitches or not?? please i need an answer rightaway😢❤❤
I am working on a 4h project and need to learn some new stitches I will be come to you for all future projects love your stuff
Thank you! Good luck with your project!
good work. no need of further assistance for doing this work
I'm on a new project and your videos are the best, as a beginner the explanation is so good. Using this video I have done my first every embroidery piece and it's beautiful. Thank You.
It was so clear and very useful for me
It look like a chain stitch
Yes, it's similar. Just not chained together like the chain stitch.
Thank you soooooo much for this video. I am a beginner to embroidery and it explained the stitches MUCH clearer than the handbook that was given to me by a kit
Anyone here after seeing Sonakshi Sinha's Story ? ( P.S - She is a bollywood actress)

I keep coming back to this video every time I need a refresher for fashion at school, thanks for making these videos, they are really easy to follow and make learning embroidery so much easier! Thankyou!
Thank you sooo much for these videos! New subscriber here💜
Thank you for such clear, simple instructions. You have become my "go to" as I begin this journey with needle and thread.
What threads are you using? My threads are too loose and are separating
I'm using DMC embroidery floss. Using less strands might help. 2 or 3 would be good.
Does this work best if you're using all 6 threads? I halved mine for practice and my daisies look really skinny and dinky with no 'heavy, fat' end, if that makes sense. Like instead of a teardrop shape it's just a thin petal that's the same width from tip to middle.
It should work with any amount of thread. It sounds like you might be pulling the thread too tight. You want to tack the end down while it still looks like a teardrop shape. You could also try making it shorter. I find that if my petals are too long, they turn out looking weird.
@@CutesyCrafts thank you! I will try that now! Love your vids btw. So quick and to the point. Subbed!
@@swinginbecky Thank you! I hope you get it to work!
Thank you so much! Your videos have been extremely helpful to learn many different kinds of stitches.
Thank you. You helped me to remember the stitch learnt when young. Thank you again.
Thanks for this simple and clear tutorial! I was struggling with written instructions-it’s really easy!
Great content old but it's gold
Thank you! I have trouble learning new things at times and your description was so easy to learn from
looks like chain stitch formed like a flower
Yep, that's basically what it is. I think some people call it a detached chain when not in flower formation.
It's just like chain stitch
What is the name of this fabric?
Cool
Brilliant tutorial, clear and simple very easy to understand, thank you.
Thank you!! Do you have the # of threads listed somewhere for each type of stitch?
I just found the answer on your site lol “How many threads are in a Lazy Daisy stitch? Use anywhere from 2-6 strands of embroidery floss for a Lazy Daisy stitch depending on how thick you want the petals to be. I prefer to use 2 or 3 strands and only use 6 if it's a larger flower”
@@moosecaboose5120 Oh good job. I didn't even know that answer was on my website. Haha!
@@CutesyCrafts 😄
Ah thank you for this, too!

How many threads need?
This was 6. You can use 6, 3, or 2, depending on how thick you want the stitches.
