Fun and easy Sujebi - Korean Hand-pulled noodle soup or Hand-torn dough soup will warm you up!

  • Comforting Sujebi (Hand-pulled noodle soup) that's simple and delicious. This soup is so fun to make!! Use chicken, beef or seafood broth if you don't have anchovies.
    Ingredients for 2-3 servings
    [Dough]
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp sea salt
    160 ml water
    [Broth]
    6 cups water
    1/2 oz large dried anchovies for soup (Gukmul Myeolchi)
    1 piece dried kelp (dasima or kombu) - size of your palm
    1.25~1.5 tsp sea salt
    1~1.25 tsp guk ganjang (korean soup soy sauce) - more info (kimchimari.com/ingredient/sou...)
    [vegetables]
    1 russet potato (peeled and cut)
    1/2 yellow onion
    1/2 korean aehobak (squash) or Italian zucchini
    2-3 green onions
    1-2 tsp chopped garlic
    Yangnyeomjang 양념장 - spicy sauce
    1 Tbsp soy sauce
    1 tsp Korean red chili powder
    2 tsp fresh red chili, chopped
    1 tsp rice vinegar
    1 Tbsp green onions, chopped
    1/2 tsp sesame oil
    1 tsp garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp sugar
    black pepper, sesame seeds
