What's really cool is that during the 20 minutes it took you to autopsy the body, not a single animation is played, everything is through text, and yet, you feel it so much better than if it had the gore and first person animations of, say, Doom.
its amazing how successful skill checks will change the whole dynamic of the game. during my first playthrough i just discovered the body and due to lack of evidence we just assumed it was a lynching, but during my second playthrough i went to the secret weapons cache that's near the bear fridge and that made my character discover that the real cause of death was a shot from a rifle, which changed my dynamic with titus significantly from the moment i saw him >haha yeah we hardie boys hanged him ;) >uhh... yeah, but it was shot in the mouth before that... >hardie boys start sweating profusely
The devs might have been unaware but isn't it illogical to not give an option to lay some padding on the ground or anything soft to soften the dead body's fall if you decided to shoot the buckle? With how the dead merc's body is described, it seems like his body could be messed up with something as little as a bump by Cuno.

@@c3aloha I'm from Russia - and I wish our laws regarding guns would be atleast as lax as is in the US - so we would've been able to fight back against the corrupt regime, to be a threat to police force - sadly, it was incredibly diffucult to get a gun permit and much more difficult to buy a gun, then it is in US.

Getting the bullet out seems very difficult without cheated stats. Is this type of outcome possible where you shoot the body down and fish the bullet out without cheating?
you could save scum, or you could just take it down later. you can also store the body in the Icebear fridge if you checked out the doomed commercial area for later.
It's very possible. You can easily get a +3 to Perception with Apricot Scented Gum No. 1 and Col Do Ma Ma Daqua thoughts (though the latter is obtainable from Day 2 onward). If I remember correctly putting the body inside a fridge also gives +1 to that particular check.
@@MuttonChopCop Ok cool, I found it too, only problem is I set my stats too skewed towards psyche and intellect and am having a hard time passing physical and motorics checks. I want to do a sober run so I guess i'll have to wait for clothes to boost my stats.
I screwed up. I let Kim take the body to the station even though I didn't find the bullet. Also, I only realized this on day 4 when I finally found the bear fridge and didn't have the option to ask Kim to store the body there. Does that mean I won't be able to finish this game? Is there any point continuing?

I think that's because cuno has been pelting it for hours continuously.
But yeah it would have made sense to get a platform for the body.

Gun laws in the US vary from state too state, the ones with the most laws are often the the worst, and usually in major cities in severe decline.
I kind of want to see a whole playthrough with max skills, now. Sure, it’s cheating. But I think of it more like......new game plus.

Yep. It's possible. Also, consider that you can leave the body out for a while, and get level ups before looking for the bullet.

My build was MOT focused so I managed.
i did it on the first day, no cheats, just being super careful about my clothes/stats + sheer luck

I edited a quick save in notepad. There's a section for your stats in there. I replaced the notepad file with my own.

Your fine mate. You can beat the case without ever having examined the body. You'll just have to adapt to the circumstances.
