genthru is already confirmed, so that leaves 4 characters. Imo its gonna be meruem, pitou, kite and morel. I think illumi zeno and silva will be in the dlc

The game is made with mobile game budget. Depending on how much it ends up costing, I dont think its too bad.

Meruem and Morel were also soft confirmed, and with Genthru also confirmed that leaves two slots and I would be genuinely shocked if they didn't go to Kite and Pitou

Ging, Mereum (Ant King), Pitou feel like safe picks, and for the last spot its really tough to say. Kite, Illumi, Zeno, another zodiac member, and Gentheru (lol) are all possible picks. Though, lowkey hope they pick Knuckle. Honestly, with all these choices feels like they went a little overboard with troupe members sadly. Chrollo, Machi and maybe one more (Uvo I guess for character build variety) would have been enough.

I definitely feel like they went overboard with phantom troupe but i guess it's because they're so popular, would've liked more balance between troupe and chimera ants(i'm anime only so i don't know if there's more prominent characters) and yeah Knuckle would be great

Gensuru was already leaked. So that leaves just 4 hidden characters. But of those 4... It's almost sure They will be Meruem, Pitou, Illumi and Kaito or Zeno.
Maybe we can get secret characters? but doubt it. Or maybe future DLC with more characters. That would be best. Becasue there are still a lot more characters that could make for interesting moveset in this mechanic: Pouf, Youpi, Morau, Kunckle, Shoot, Palm, Nobunaga, Shizuku, Hanzo, Gotoh, etc. Heck they can even ad Hinrigh at this point, he has enough shown to make it work.

Oh is that so? lame should've had razor instead lolol. DLC characters is def not off the table but I guess it depends how well the game does ngl. I don't really know what each character does but yeah hope they can go ham on characters and make them really unique. shizuku fights with a vacuum and they just released marie in skullgirls so would love to see a different take lol

It’s crazy how much a like we think I’m hoping for illumi 🤞🏾 if at most bro like 45 total characters we have seen abilities for but the zodiacs may have to be subtracted from the count since we don’t know more then they were strong enough to be sparing partners of Netro 🤔 also hisoka thinks they are strong but not worth his time

Love HxH since childhood so I guess I can’t complain but the idea of a nen based/HxH fighting game always seemed a little odd to me considering almost every fight is basically decided beforehand by underhanded strategy or conditions. I mean Morel vs Cheetu is a great example of how those battles work imo and you could never replicate that in a traditional fighting game. Anyway I feel like they need at least three ants so you can have some kind of canonical team up so prob Meruem Youpi and Pitou. Would love Silva and Zeno though.

It’s definitely a sort of trolley problem, if the game doesn’t do well it might signal to just stop making them, and if it does, it’s just like you said unless they increase the budget :/
