But my point still stands: Toei doesn't want to be associated with him anymore, so, for DBZ Kai's re-release, anything made by him were removed. The only tracks from DBZ Kai's original release that remains are the opening and closings, the eyecatch, Only a Chilling Elegy, Over the Star, etc... Anything but Yamamoto's compositions, except for the eyecatch, which was made by him. Everything else are from other composers, and the majority of the track is Kikuchi. I have Kai for Blu-Ray myself.

Kai IMO is one of the worse ways to watch DB. Unless you just have some religious hatred for filler and can’t stand it sure it’s a viable option but honestly watching OG DBZ is still the best way to enjoy DB. The only thing Kai has going for it is its unique character themes.
