Jeice abandoned Burter when he realized they were no match for Goku, Ginyu was already training some regular Frieza soldiers shortly after Guldo, Recoome and Burter died to be their replacements. And nobody gave a flying f*ck when Guldo was killed off by Vegeta. They were not friends, just teammates.
One of my happiest memories was laughing along to this arc. Toriyama perfectly parodying the Toku genre I had grown to love through Power Rangers. Thank you sensei.
Imagine if they did a canon 5-Way Fusion. Since power levels are multiplied, that'd be 120,000 (Ginyu) x 40,000(3) (Burter, Jeice, Recoome) x 10,000 (Guldo), which would be a whopping *144 trillion* . For comparison, Kid Buu would have been around 30 trillion. If Super didn't exist, they'd be the strongest in the verse lol
If you think about Frieza would have won if he didn't let his henchman fight for him. He could have easily kill off Krillin, Vegeta and Gohan and by the time Goku gets there he would have been immortal

Well, Reecome and Guldo do fuse in Dragon Ball Fusions, and they're more or less a short but buffed Guldo with pretty orange hair. Also, I think we can all admit that it's no suprise to anyone that it is the Ginyu Force who invent the five man fusion in this game.

Saberian Dream bruh no shit. The Pride troopers would literally eat them alive, the difference now is wayyy to big to even say they would do anything to the pride troopers. Hit did a time freeze on jiren and he was able to break out with a bit of effort, but jiren was highly supressed. Recoomes brute force would equal to nothing, same with Jeice. And Burter is like a turtle compared to any of the pride troopers. BUT captain ginyus body change could come in helpful. Imagine if he could capture Jiren, he would be extremely poweful even if it were Jiren in his supressed state.
Yeah I do also like the Ginyu Force a lot better, would be cool to see them come back in the next dragon ball series. But the thing is, the pride troopers are so damn confident, kinda like vegeta. I bet maybe Captain Ginyu could trick one of them into thinking it was a ki attack, and Jiren being his over-confident self would let it bounce of him, before he knows its to late.

And Captain Ginyu, people not know this... He was a kindly Pastor, whom cards much for his men, and helps little girls learn space ballet.... In light of Akira Toriyama's passing, revisiting a certified classic. It's telling how unmatched this man was at creating iconic characters that a one-off group of jobbers, just there to be a super sentai parody, manages to be among the most iconic characters in anime. Like, the signature Ginyu Force pose is friggin' *EVERYWHERE* my dudes! You don't see relatively minor villains like Dr. Gero, or Raditz, or Babidi getting a badass theme song in Kai like this. But the Ginyu Force do, because of course they do! Look at these comments, gushing over characters that occupy a microscopic portion of the Dragon Ball saga. Most writers would kill to have One character as beloved as the Ginyu Force, and Toriyama did it so effortlessly, they're not even in the top ten most iconic things Toriyama created! I have my issues with the man and his creative style, but they're immaterial. The man has achieved a kind of immortality most creatives can only aspire to. Only Osamu Tezuka or Kentaro Miura could claim to leave a legacy behind even half as impactful and deep. Grab yourself a chocolate parfait and strike the Pose of Mourning in honor of a veritable icon. Rest in Peace.

Hell most Ki using characters from the sayian saga onward could kick the every living piss out of like 89% of all other anime shounen characters, in Dragon Ball Z to Super even the weakest characters can casually blow up entire fuckin planets like it's nothing! How many other shounen anime characters have that kind of rare power? Hardly none that I can think of and even then most other planet busters have to really try hard and concentrate, while DBZ characters from the weakest Ki users to the strongest can do that casually, without even breaking a sweat!
@@navilluscire2567 The problem is that dragonball power scaling (not power levels, that's another thing) after the Namek saga is complete ass and inconsistent as heck. You mean to tell me that Saiyan saga Vegeta could blow up a planet effortlessly and then Super Perfect cell (who is like billions of times stronger than that Vegeta was) with his strongest attack can only blow up a solar system? We are at a point where dragonball characters should be wiping out galaxies when farting and yet the destruction during the fights is barely above Saiyan saga, even when they fight at full power nothing really destructive happen. Also Dragonball is the most basic of shonens when it comes to "Hax" techniques where the only examples i can think of are Guldo's timestop, Ginyu's Body swap, Krillin's Kienzan and Hit's Timeskip,the latter being essentially useless since it doesn't really work on stronger enemies, unlike the other 3 i mentioned where Guldo could stop anyone and probably stop even Beerus, Ginyu could probably steal any body that he lands his technique on and the Kienzan who can cut anything (the scene where cell is unaffected by it is non canon btw) Meanwhile you have characters like Kenshiro who, while not being nearly as strong as DBZ characters, can just use Musou Tensei and become completely intangible to any attack ( i won't mention the pressure point thing since we don't know if Saiyans have the same ones humans do) and make the fight with MUI Goku a complete stalemate, since MUI is basically a ripoff or Musou Tensei minus the emotional buildup.

What an epic song. As much as this sealed my love for the Ginyu Force, what's also underrated is the fact that the song is pretty difficult to sing. The singer really addressed the high and low pitched, with so much energy that I can imagine exhaling with some verses. This is power packet and this song always makes me happy. Especially the outro when they show the scene of all 5 mates looking at the screen. Update: Back here after more than a year. I LOVE THESE GUYS EVEN MORE.
Makafushigi Adventure is even tougher. It's super high pitched for most men, his dynamics go from quiet to FULL POWER, and the hardest part is that it's super clean. There's no scratch or growl whatsoever.
The Ginyu Force is my favorite team in all of media, they're funny, sadistic, and powerful all in one! That's why I literally lost it when Ginyu swapped bodies with Tagoma, all we need is an anime with these guys and I can proudly say I'm a Ginyu Force member for life.

And if someone with a body count as high as Vegeta's can change for the better, who's to say they can't either? All it would take is an exceptional contract to start them on the path to being true heroes of justice. A Ginyu force anime complete with a redemption arc is something I'd pay to see.
@Caleb Kent Fun fact: in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot you can revive the Ginyu Force with the Dragon Balls to fight them again and when Gohan talks to them they think he wants to join them and ask him to pose for them so they can judge him. Gohan fails miserably so he has to fight them to show how strong he is and after the fight, Gohan remarks that he should actually brush up on his posing as it might actually be useful in the future.
True Golden Frieza I mean you would say that Frieza-sama, after all you seemed to dislike the pretty pretty princess dance. I think it fits them, like a glove.
I mean, all of them could defeat thanos with posing. They were able to bust planets with power levels of a couple hundred, and Raditz dodged a Lightspeed attack with a power level of 1200. So these guys are all faster than light, meaning if they sped that fast into thanos and ended up in a pose they would literally kill him.

Saberian Dream bruh no shit. The Pride troopers would literally eat them alive, the difference now is wayyy to big to even say they would do anything to the pride troopers. Hit did a time freeze on jiren and he was able to break out with a bit of effort, but jiren was highly supressed. Recoomes brute force would equal to nothing, same with Jeice. And Burter is like a turtle compared to any of the pride troopers. BUT captain ginyus body change could come in helpful. Imagine if he could capture Jiren, he would be extremely poweful even if it were Jiren in his supressed state.
Yeah I do also like the Ginyu Force a lot better, would be cool to see them come back in the next dragon ball series. But the thing is, the pride troopers are so damn confident, kinda like vegeta. I bet maybe Captain Ginyu could trick one of them into thinking it was a ki attack, and Jiren being his over-confident self would let it bounce of him, before he knows its to late.

In light of Akira Toriyama's passing, revisiting a certified classic. It's telling how unmatched this man was at creating iconic characters that a one-off group of jobbers, just there to be a super sentai parody, manages to be among the most iconic characters in anime. Like, the signature Ginyu Force pose is friggin' *EVERYWHERE* my dudes! You don't see relatively minor villains like Dr. Gero, or Raditz, or Babidi getting a badass theme song in Kai like this. But the Ginyu Force do, because of course they do! Look at these comments, gushing over characters that occupy a microscopic portion of the Dragon Ball saga. Most writers would kill to have One character as beloved as the Ginyu Force, and Toriyama did it so effortlessly, they're not even in the top ten most iconic things Toriyama created! I have my issues with the man and his creative style, but they're immaterial. The man has achieved a kind of immortality most creatives can only aspire to. Only Osamu Tezuka or Kentaro Miura could claim to leave a legacy behind even half as impactful and deep.

I always loved that despite being among the strongest people in the universe (at the time), and being homicidal maniacs, very few people would take the Ginyu Force seriously unless they were getting the shit kicked out of them by the force. Hell most Ki using characters from the sayian saga onward could kick the every living piss out of like 89% of all other anime shounen characters, in Dragon Ball Z to Super even the weakest characters can casually blow up entire fuckin planets like it's nothing! How many other shounen anime characters have that kind of rare power? Hardly none that I can think of and even then most other planet busters have to really try hard and concentrate, while DBZ characters from the weakest Ki users to the strongest can do that casually, without even breaking a sweat!
@@navilluscire2567 The problem is that dragonball power scaling (not power levels, that's another thing) after the Namek saga is complete ass and inconsistent as heck.
You mean to tell me that Saiyan saga Vegeta could blow up a planet effortlessly and then Super Perfect cell (who is like billions of times stronger than that Vegeta was) with his strongest attack can only blow up a solar system? We are at a point where dragonball characters should be wiping out galaxies when farting and yet the destruction during the fights is barely above Saiyan saga, even when they fight at full power nothing really destructive happen.
Also Dragonball is the most basic of shonens when it comes to "Hax" techniques where the only examples i can think of are Guldo's timestop, Ginyu's Body swap, Krillin's Kienzan and Hit's Timeskip,the latter being essentially useless since it doesn't really work on stronger enemies, unlike the other 3 i mentioned where Guldo could stop anyone and probably stop even Beerus, Ginyu could probably steal any body that he lands his technique on and the Kienzan who can cut anything (the scene where cell is unaffected by it is non canon btw)
Meanwhile you have characters like Kenshiro who, while not being nearly as strong as DBZ characters, can just use Musou Tensei and become completely intangible to any attack ( i won't mention the pressure point thing since we don't know if Saiyans have the same ones humans do) and make the fight with MUI Goku a complete stalemate, since MUI is basically a ripoff or Musou Tensei minus the emotional buildup.

Well when u make characters in an anime all planet busters, it’s hard for most anime to surpass that especially let’s say, the strongest character of some anime can destroy the strongest of things on earth with ease and that would still be nothing to chaotzu of all people. Look at Baki, these buff guys are serious when it comes to fighting and call people that fight like dragon ball characters who “fight fairly” not real fighters yet they can’t even scratch someone like chaotzu.

What an epic song. As much as this sealed my love for the Ginyu Force, what's also underrated is the fact that the song is pretty difficult to sing. The singer really addressed the high and low pitched, with so much energy that I can imagine exhaling with some verses. This is power packet and this song always makes me happy. Especially the outro when they show the scene of all 5 mates looking at the screen.

@Caleb Kent Fun fact: in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot you can revive the Ginyu Force with the Dragon Balls to fight them again and when Gohan talks to them they think he wants to join them and ask him to pose for them so they can judge him. Gohan fails miserably so he has to fight them to show how strong he is and after the fight, Gohan remarks that he should actually brush up on his posing as it might actually be useful in the future.

I mean, all of them could defeat thanos with posing. They were able to bust planets with power levels of a couple hundred, and Raditz dodged a Lightspeed attack with a power level of 1200. So these guys are all faster than light, meaning if they sped that fast into thanos and ended up in a pose they would literally kill him.
