Great video
Thank you for another great video. Your content has helped me with my learning curve for sure. Plus, you’re very generous with your approach to helping others make a few bucks, which is a UA-cam rarity!
Still using my ortur 10w, trying to find the best 24 now. Atezr or Atomstack 😅
Great content for motivation. My shop is coming together, and I'm almost to the point where all I need is a computer. WOW, I sure hope my Atezer isn't a lemon; I had no idea they were having problems. I bought an L2 on "sale" and it's still in the box for a couple months now.
Customer service being equal what machine do you recommend. The Atezr or Atomstack?
Atezr
I am so glad I found you! Until this past weekend I never knew leather could be cut with a lazer. I have not purchased one yet, still watching all your videos until I figure out which one will be best for me. I have been working with leather for 40 years - mostly 3 1/2 to 4 oz making custom chaps. Well, my hands cannot do all the hard cutting anymore so I gave up the custom chaps. I bought a silhouette machine to help cut out designs for other items, but it is a huge failure! The machine cannot make the cuts so I was hand cutting. I'm looking forward to finding the perfect lazer machine for my needs. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!!
Love to hear how it goes! I suppose bed size will be very important for you. :)
How to clean the laserlens?
You can look up cleaning atomstack laser lens on youtube. They are mostly all the same.
Thanks for sharing! Always appreciate the time you put into the videos. Just been a hobbyist with leather and laser but since my real job has downturned, I need to make this make some money. Thanks for the inspiration and advice
It is a 'get rich slow' business, but very rewarding. Selling Lightburn SVG's on ETSY seems smart. People are looking for them and not many people making. It also takes no shipping and little cost. Good luck!
@@ValleyForged thanks! Another great idea, since I’m a graphic designer
Nice, keep me posted on how it goes! @@raywong171
Why don't you want to run air assist when engraving?
Each machine is different but often it leaves smoke marks that are hard to get off.
@@ValleyForged Ah interesting! So air assist when cutting but not engraving. Just got my laser set up and have begun testing all these settings out. Intimidating but exciting! Great channel BTW! I'm already learning a lot from you!
Thanks!
Wow, thank you!
When you’re not using it it’s quiet….I would hope so
Many lasers are not like that, unfortunately
