OMG THIS is the same concert which I recorded on the old VCR so many years ago when the concert was shown on our set in b/w. So my Old tape is grainy black and white, but the glorious voice and person of Barbara Cook is the same, as is her devoted and gifted Wally Harper. My version is this concert which she had done for PBS. To see this again is so thrilling....and emotinal trip that does evoke tears. ...how divine she was! In my view, she remains the icon of all singers..of any stripe or genre. Thank you Fay Apple for this unecpected gem. I had no idea it existed.and have hoped that PBS would re-play the concert. ...and here it is. WOW>.

As many times as I watch this wonderful concert, I am amazed by the natural talent of this great lady.
