    What Is The Minority Mindset?
The Minority Mindset has nothing to do with the way you look or what kind of family you're from. It's a mindset.
Give the majority $200 and they will come back with a pair of shoes. Give the minority $200 they will come back with $2,000.
Think from the mindset of a consumer and be the provider, that's the Minority Mindset. Don't be the majority. #MIH #ThinkMinority #StudentLoans

Hey MM - I'm from the UK.
We have a different Student Finance System. It's worth looking into and maybe making a video about your views on it.... I'll have approximately £50000 debt that I probably won't end up paying back. And NO I am not like that guy who has $235k debt. The systems different..... Look into and do you think it's worth us paying of our student debt asap.

Jaspreet, I want your honest feedback. I’m paying my student loan based on and income based repayment which means I pay 10% of my adjusted gross income every year for 25 years after which the rest of the student loan balance is forgiven under this plan. I have a 230k SL and Let’s say I make 100k a year but based on my AGI, my payments are $850 a month. Assume my income is going to stay the same for 25 years. I would only be paying back $255k total after 25 years. Why would I want to pay the loans back quicker if I actually end up paying less over 25 years while allowing me to save some cash and invest and have money to start a family etc etc?

This assumes that you have an equated monthly installment payment plan. This is not always the case, where I live (Sweden) it is quite common with variable payment plans, that is a fixed amount of mortgage (for example 2%/year). This means that my monthly payments are a little higher early on, then becomes lower and lower each month.

TYLERE BAKER - PEARCE because sometimes we trust people instead of looking into things. It’s dumb but it’s truthful. And now that we know, we can help other young people not make the same mistakes. I will never put people down for making mistakes, but I will continue to educate people on how to not make mistakes and since I made these mistakes, I can show examples.

In Addition to the previous comments, the average person going to college is between the ages of 18 and 20. The average 18 to 20-year-old doesn’t understand loans, loan forgiveness, interest, how to navigate scholarships and grants… This is a lot for a younger person to try to understand especially when they do not have the resources or the education to navigate the financial market.

Interest first principal later, just like a home mortgage, for the first 5 years, take your tax return money 80 percent of it and drop it on your student loan you will pay it off 10 times faster

My 2 cents from my personal experience: You know that grace period right after you graduate before they start charging interest? I paid off as much as I could afford during the grace period so that my entire payment went towards the principle before interest started accumulating! I need to write a book!

Another thing you can do to reduce your student loan principal is to live frugally while you're in college. There are many college students who treat student loan money like free money and borrow more than they need so buy things like Monclier jackets and shoes from Gucci.

I wish I had 30,000 in student loans. If I did, I would smash that out within 3 years with aggressive debt payoff. Then I'm completely debt free. However, not the case. By the time I graduate, I will have around 70K student loans inc. interest. I'm gonna attack it like no other, but it still feels like such a tough feat 🤦‍♀️.
