It really does. And unfortunately both Coattail Riders albums sound pretty much the same. So I have a feeling this won't stray far from those. And while I LIKE TH&TCR... Hawkins doesn't have the range or songwriting skills of Mr. Grohl. And yet I'll still probably go out and buy this album on the 15th. :-)

It's sick when Taylor sings during Foo Fighter shows -backup vocals and lead on other songs//So it was naturally only a matter of time until this new project(BOS) released a clean and mixed well recorded album that has a punch. His voice is unique and he has quite a register/range. Thanks For the Line- the first single is a great track; with a breakdown in the middle that has an essence of Queen. Other influences are present as well, but the band is very unique and edgy! Clean production, and so is T's ability and talent. It's unique and fresh to hear, compared to what is being released these days on radio. Rock em T! Best regards to "The Birds of Satan" PS: now T and the BOS can open or be on the same bill as the FF. That would be sick!!!
Sub-Foo Fighters riffage, one piano chord repeating through the song (aside from the fairly basic piano solo) and Taylor's appalling sandpaper-throated-singing... oh dear. Not promising. Taylor, get on, push Dave and the rest of the Foos and get THAT new album out.
