Because it’s eventually going to level out. It’s gaining fast now, but eventually will hit a peak and the bubble will pop. That’s when the prices go down a bit. That will probably be some time later 2022 or so.

Man, I LOVE the carrera. Would personally love to see it more in videos. Stock is the best way for them, minus the exhaust and some minor minor bolt on mods, like them wheels.
If its about sound, keeping it mostly stock and going up in value I would say sell the CGT and get an LFA for a year. Its a classic and having it on your channel would probably increase the value of it over the year more than it would normally go up on its own. Make some money, have some fun and enjoy the incredible sound.
I love the CGT. It's an Icon and one of my favorite cars. Nothing is needed to modify on that car, just wheels and exhaust and you're good to go and enjoy that iconic vehicle. Who cares it doesn't get the love, it's for you to enjoy and admire the beauty and engineering of that car. Seems like UA-camrs are just turning these cars over all the time and it's bittersweet seeing these machines being bought and resold all the time like an unwanted pet.

The Carrera GT was used in videos to go to and from SR / August and to get coffee. Being done with mods doesn't mean it's time to sell - do something with it that could make for some epic content.
The CGT will be a diamond in the rough soon - so precious in a car world that is going more electric. I say keep it as long as you can have it until we are forced to merge over to the fully electric, we will be missing the sound of the CGT so much when we can’t have it!
Seems like the car would only continue appreciating over the years anyway so I don’t think you need to cash in just yet. That said, i think it would be worth selling for a P1. That car will likely appreciate similar and seems like more of a DDE car to play with.

The Carrera GT was used in videos to go to and from SR / August and to get coffee. Being done with mods doesn't mean it's time to sell - do something with it that could make for some epic content.

The CGT will be a diamond in the rough soon - so precious in a car world that is going more electric. I say keep it as long as you can have it until we are forced to merge over to the fully electric, we will be missing the sound of the CGT so much when we can’t have it!

Seems like the car would only continue appreciating over the years anyway so I don’t think you need to cash in just yet. That said, i think it would be worth selling for a P1. That car will likely appreciate similar and seems like more of a DDE car to play with.

First off, I prefer the Canadian content 1000x over the LA scene. So much more pure driving content. 2nd, the Carrera GT is a fucking legend. Sounds amazing, looks amazing. For sure my favorite car on the channel. Definitely a keeper.
The CGT is an awesome car. I like watching cars I imagine myself owning. I just can’t imagine myself owning a CGT. I can see myself in a twin turbo SVJ! I’ll watch your videos regardless of what you drive. It’s the antics I enjoy.
It isn't worth the money and time though, the svj would be gone for months and he would not be able to drive it everyday because of the fuel restrictions

@@JJR_77 we have different tastes in cars. A 918 is part of the holy trinity of hypercars. It was one the best hypercars when it came out. Frankly, a Carrera GT isn't appealing in my opinion.

On the Carrera GT. Yeah. You could sell it off for the money, but you'll likely NEVER get another one again. Its a rare car and its price point is crazy. You said it was one of your dream cars. Keep it. Love it.

You have to keep the cgt it’s the icon of its day and a great car for gumball, an svj is common for those rally’s the 720 is beautiful and would be great but the cgt is a step up by far the best car
