I visit Faraday Future in California to see the first car they dreamt up as a team. This is called the FFZero1. It's their vision of what racing will look like in the future. Parker from Vehicle Virgins joins me at the factory so we get his thoughts on the car as well.
I also had an exclusive look at their first production car the FF91, which they hope will be on the market next year. The details on that car will be in my next vid.

They really messed up the ergonomics on this one, glad that its just a concept. Imagine your neck snapping from your body in an accident because its fixed to the car for oxygen and water.

pretty sure it will have a safety release of some sort. Hell even like the magnets on gas pump hoses would work. Easy fix.
@@jerodjohnson7240 What you are saying is possible but I doubt they would do that for a concept. Plus I'm wondering the water spill when the helmet does detach for safety reasons. Also the major issue is not just in an accident, if your head is fixed in one place the inertia of breaking and acceleration in and around a city would put a lot of strain on the neck.
@@jasondsouza3095 the water spill would be same for the gasoline safety when the hose detaches, shutting off flow. the gas pumps wont poor out, trust me ive pulled one off before lol. So if they did it for the water the same way no spill or overflow. the strain on neck could be compensated with light weight tubes instead of just connecting into it directly like they shown. I agree the direct connect idea is not a good idea.
@@jerodjohnson7240 Cars of this caliber pull at least 2Gs. It means 980 newtons of force for a 110 lb girl! Having your neck fixed is stupid period. Also canopy is a bad idea. It is impractical and unsafe. It wouldn't open in an event of a rollover after a crash. Pedal design is down right ridiculous. If you are not a pro race car driver you always use accelerator and the brake with the same foot. Having a compressed oxygen tank in a car is unsafe too. This car will never pass regulations. End of story.

As much as I love the crazy cars on this channel, I feel like there's very little satisfaction for me as an enthusiast. You need to talk about the materials used to make the car, how fast it goes, the tech inside it and even guess how much it would cost. Combine technicality with the charm you've already got going on.
not to mention that they drive the concept cars like, 5 feet, before saying "WoW ThIs CaR Is AwESome!". like, c'mon, put it through it's paces on a track or something, don't just drive it 5 feet at the slowest speed possible.

I love concept cars as well Blondie. I love that they design them without compromise and include the craziest new technological features and unrealistically huge wheels that will likely never grace the production version if they ever do go into production.
The Porsche mission E was so amazingly cool with those awesome colour key wheels and pillarless suicide doors in the rear. The production version of the mission E (the Taycan) looks like a Panamera, and not like the concept mission E very much at all.
