I never thought Arsenal would win this and if things had gone according to plan, this match would not matter as much. Arsenal’s only advantage was to maintain a buffer between Arsenal and City. When Arsenal lost that advantage then it was over. Arsenal cannot go squad for squad, game for game, POINT FOR POINT with City, they are too good. The second Arsenal failed to take 6 points from West Ham, Southampton and the 1 point from Liverpool to PRESERVE THE BUFFER, it was only a matter of time before City set their sights on top. They are a club with a killer instinct and do not squander opportunities. It was like watching boys play men, Arsenal bottled it big time. Arsenal did not lose the League at City, Arsenal lost the league after they failed to secure 7 points in their last 3 matches (or even 9 points). I am disappointed but never angry. No use bellyaching about it. It is what it is.

Let's be honest - that was a disgrace today. Losing is one thing, but the manner in whch we lost, the way we just folded was poor. City had full control of the game and battered us and should've won by more. That's 4 games in a row where we have bottled it. Today, the only ones who get anyh credit are Ramsale who did decent and Trossard and Nelson - Nelson did more in 30 secs than the entire front 3 that started the game.

Let me just say this, back in 2014/15 City had the lead 1-0 against Chelsea at the Etihad and Jose's Chelsea turned iit in the second half around and won 1-3, winning the league that season. That is the difference.
