Leo Ha she did. I kept trying to capture that combo on cam but I kept missing it. She landed 3Lz3T and 3F3T several times. I’ve yet to see her go start to finish full out though. But what I see looks good and the entire public here is behind her. She will bring the house down with one clean skate.
Even if she doesn’t skate that well at Nationals this year, I think she is headed in the right direction and is showing a lot of potential that she could be back in competitive shape for next season.
Margaret Tudor You’re welcome. The practices are the best part of nationals. It’s so fascinating to see their practice strategies. Gracie looks really good, though I won’t say she looks confident. There are moments when u see she may not be 100% sure of herself. Her head is her biggest competitor.
My comment may come across as harsh, but I am glad to say this is becoming pleasant to watch again. Great progress made in just under 6 months. What a spirited woman - I have gained respect for her.
I don't know a lot about ice skating, I just discovered Gracie a few months ago. I read her story, I know what she's been through and seeing her getting better doesn't miss to make me happy. I am sure she'll do an incredible comeback, glad to see that the public is already behind her. Go Gracie! :)

Isabella Ella yeah, but it’s also not unheard of for people to just do sections of their program. Especially at the international level. Some of the younger skaters with less competitive experience would probably want to do a full run through because they haven’t had that level of experience - but it all comes down to the coach at the end of the day. Some skaters like Evgenia (back when she was with Eteri) would tack on a toe loop at the end of every jump combo during practice. People do weird things depending on their practice philosophy.
Full run throughs help not half skating programs. Drives me nuts. I think no matter what u get it. Endurance shows. Better but wont be the end she wanted.
