Loved the video. These ladies are so enthusiastic about skincare products. They made me look into my own routine as well, with positive effects :) I do feel like almost a third of the products they mention (in any random video) is either their best find, or the 'I've never had such a great glowing skin before' kind of product. Hearing they talk about the black rice HA toner got me so excited and running to get it. Until I got to the ingredient list and saw lavender oil on the list and now me and my Sensitive skin are here crying
I bought the big jar of the Clinique moisture surge! Worth it! I tried the Wonder Toner, but it didn't really do anything for me. I think I'll give it a second chance though. What really works for my dark sports is the Derma E Scar Gel. I get really stubborn pimples around my cheeks, near my eye area as well. People thought that I had bruises or black eyes. I started using the Derma E Scar Gel twice a day. In 2 weeks, my hyper pigmentation was about 2 shades lighter. It used to take me MONTHS to get those kinds of results.
I actually would recommend the tranexemic acid from naturium over the mandelic. Since the tranexemic acid is proven to be more effective and also is compared the hydroquione (the number one pigment lightening product). It also has kojic acid and niacinamide which are all brightening agents.
@@ansleychan3490 lol that one was also on my list. I think I especially I’m a time like this I’m glad we have so many Options for good affordable skincare.
I bought the small Wonder black rice toner and I use it everyday. It has changed my skin and the scent is so calming. Will definitely be buying more before I run out. Thanks for the recommendation!!
I use The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid to treat my breakout and it never makes my face all shiny and smooth the next day. It has always been dry and flaky skin with lots of acnes being purged out and then I can get my clear skin in at least 3 months since the day I start using. A great product though!
I have very oily acne-prone skin and I've been breaking out worse than I ever have in my entire life this year. So I grabbed the Haruharu Wonder toner after one of the first times Fel mentioned it was a game changer for her skin. I'm so sad that it broke me out like CRAZY! Tried it a second time just to make sure, but had the same result. Ugh. Just a public service announcement that even on similar skin types, you could have very different results, unfortunately.
I get what Fel means about the aha's and bha's tasting citrusy, I have gotten the Ordinary's red peeling solution too close to my lip for my tongues liking and it's pretty sweet with a citrusy taste

Hey there is an AMAZING dupe on Amazon Prime for ~$10. Its called Eva Naturals C+ Skin Clearing Serum. I posted a comment about it. Check it out and the ingredients are iiiiiincredible. I hope that its available where you live and for just as cheap as here. Hope this helps. It's like one of the only skincare products I repurchase over and over.
Great recommendations and overview of each product!! I was slightly surprised not to see the purito deep sea moisturizer which I just added into my routine and am already completely in love. I was contemplating purchasing and adding the ordinary retinol/squalene into that moisturizer for my nighttime routine. Is that something you would recommend?
There's a number of things you could do, but I'd recommend a vitamin c + ferulic acid + vitamin e serum (Timeless; must wear sunscreen) in a morning routine. Vitamin C is packed with antioxidants to help your skin fight free radicals. If vitamin C doesn't work out, I'd use an antioxidant serum in the morning (Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum). Vitamin C also helps correct fine lines and increase skin cell turnover. Product subsitutes, if Vitamin C doesn't work and you want to increase cell turnover, I'd look to AHAs, and then BHAs, and then azelaic acid, and lastly PHA. And with any of the above always always wear a sunscreen! Sunscreen also helps greatly with preventing signs of wrinkles. Along with that, a good moisturizer every night, staying consistent. I hope this helps!
@@queenb2450 A good moisturizer, an antioxidant serum (morning), and a sunscreen are the first things I'd do. For treatment, vitamin C + ferulic acid + vitamin E (helps with acne, brightening, finelines, has antioxidants) would be my first pick. However, this can only be done through perscription or custom skincare lines like curology. I haven't found a regular over the counter 0.025% retinol product yet. Idk for the back but for my arms I just use the same products I use for my face, just I use my body lotion instead of my moisturizer. Exfoliation wise idk, my skin kinda just rubs off with a towel if I take a hot shower. Depends on how delicate or not your skin is.
