    It's really nuts how different the various skincare people on youtube are: James Welsh said that Pyunkang Yul was nothing special; a brand that doesn't target any specific skincare concerns, a brand for people to use who already have good skin. Here these two ladies are - singing their praises! Hyram and Susan haven't mentioned this brand before, either. I like to watch all of them and find a middle ground for my own skincare XD

      Dr Dray gave a positive review on Pyungkang Yul. And honestly I did think it was meh at first but after using the products for a bit more I started to really notice a difference. Very gentle, effective products. :)

      Peach Storm I was a little annoyed when James didn't appreciate the Pyunkang yul essence toner at all in his review a long time ago, when for example Kelly Driscoll pointed out that it is excellent after a more watery toner to lock in the hydration. So, it is really helpful to follow different skincare gurus to get the most information... I've used the essence toner like Kelly D does, after a watery toner, not inplace of a toner, and enjoyed a lot. I don't care to use it during summer but during other seasons it's a great help. I must disagree with James that PY wouldn't help with any skincare concerns, because many times avoiding alcohol, fragrance and essential oils already makes a good foundation for any skincare routine! It is quite easy to add the niacinamides, acids and whatever actives around that "basic" routine... If you haven't checked Kelly Driscoll yet, please do because she does GREAT K-beauty skincare content!

      Pyunkang yul imo has one of the best toners on the market. I've never had a toner that made my skin feel so soft, smooth, and hydrated. Also the hydration stayed till night time. PKY is a made by pharmacist and dermatologist so it bothers me when people think it's bad since it doesn't have any fancy ingredients. The essence toner, oil, and ato cleanser are some of my favourite products that I've tried. If I didn't switch to laneige if still be using the toner.

      @@zombiesforyou I looked at the ingredients and all of them look so gentle! Especially their Peeling gel. I'm thrilled, but also worried that it might be too gentle? Is it going to do anything for my normal/combo skin?

    Hygge is more of an Norwegian/danish word meaning coziness. Lagom is a swedish word meaning “in the middle”, like not to hot, not to cold.

    • @josmos6821
      @josmos6821 4 роки тому +6

      Hygge is danish / norwegian. The same word in german becomes gezelling and in swedish we would say mysigt. The easiest translation into english is cozy, though the word does not exactly have the same meaning. Lagom is swedish and means just like hannillia said "in the middle" or "just right/ just the right amaunt".

    Wow what a perfect timing! I just purchased the Sioris Day cream a couple days ago and was thinking thats it is really underrated and not talked about enough (with only 2 reviews on yesstyle and 5 on amazon). It's such a great moisturizer for any skin type, and the consistency is very interesting: its super lightweight and makes the skin very soft and hydrated without leaving it greasy. In my experience it has the most natural finish that makes my skin look like there is literally nothing applied to it, no unnatural shine or anything, and my skin type is somewhere between normal and combo. I also have very sensitive skin, so sensitive that it even reacted to the Tatcha water cream 😬 and the Sioris moisturizer has not irritated me whatsoever and my skin just loves it. It also contains great natural ingredients and has an amazing subtle scent without any artificial fragrance. This is basically the Sioris Time is Running Out mist but in a cream form. I love it and definitely recommend it.

    Yes love laneige cream skin. Though pricey but worth it. I use cosrx centella cream for my breakouts and it's one of my holygrail products. I can use it as spot corrector or as a cream when my face is inflamed.
    For propolis, I recommend iunik serums. Cheap but effective 💯

    The best lip balm I’ve found is The Naked Bee Orange Blossom Honey Lip Balm, that costs about $6 & I found that at Ace Hardware & another home decor store where I live sold it too. They have a website that sells a whole line of their products. Cruelty free, Vegan & cares for the bee population. I use this when my lips are chapped & at night before bed. It stays on all night & works really well to keep lips soft. I’m 59 & this Is my favorite so far.😉

    Hi, there are alot Asian beauty products in your mentions, I am so happy with that, I am Asian and your recommendations fit me so well. This time I want to bring up Be Plain, they are now on fire in Korean, their philosophy is simple, nature-inspired and NO essential oils. I want to recommend the brand to you as soon as I come across their packaging, it is going to fit really well with your Beauty Within's graphic design vids and photos. I bet you two going to like their Chamomile pH-balanced toner, because it is very soothing and moisturizing. But for the whole profile, their products is going to fit Fel more since you have oily skin, as I feel like, they are LIGHT. Anyways, the most recommendable product from the brand would be the Greenful pH-balanced cleansing foam, it cleans without stripping but still effective, gentle but shockingly cleansed, some feedbacks mentioned the cleanser alone clear their acnes. Love to you!!!

    A new brand I'm really loving is Aqulabo. The toners are amazing especially the Kombucha toner - really hydrating and the brand is fragrance free, so it's excellent for my rosacea and eczema prone skin.
    A long term love is the Laneige cream skin which gives me the moisture I need for my really dry skin in a lightweight form (I use two or three layers to amp up moisture under a lighter weight moisturiser for Summer). During the colder months I love oils and heavy creams, but during Summer they won't absorb. My skin is super dehydrated and still dry even in Summer so I layer up toners etc, but still need moisture. This is where the cream skin shines - it just boosts the moisture in my routine. Another Summer love is the Missha time revolution first essence which is extremely hydrating and seems to also boost everything I layer on top. I like the Sioris calming day serum for morning use in the Summer (which is fragrance free). Cosrx snail essence is another oldie but goodie product for Summer on my skin. Best wishes.

      I've had the suspicion that the word pronunciation examples in the internet just aren't available for Americans because they rather want to leave an extra clip of "how it is pronounced...version a, version b, version c...laughter" there in the video than to just check the voice example and say the word correctly. I know it sounds mean but the joke is getting really old that people don't know how to pronounce x word. Btw, I'm not danish. I use the google translator's app all the time to check how to write words correctly/ check meanings and the app has all languages. I also use the camera option to read labels that are written in foreign characters, such as korean, japanese, chinese...

    hello! please do look into round lab and give them a try! they're super popular in korea and available at jolse & olive young global. i've been really curious about their products - specifically the dokdo line (for more dry/dehydrated skin types) and the birch juice line (for oily/sensitive skin). look forward to more content! 💓🥰

      What is originally your skin type??
      Do you have an oily, dry, acne-prone, sensitive or mature skin???
      Since you just talk about being dry and oily in the same time... There are 2 possibilities..
      If you are originally oily and then you experienced dry skin.. You just lack moisture or might be dehydrated..
      If you are originally dry skin and you experienced being oily or pimples might come.. It might be hormonal or lifestyle change that affect the skin. It can also be that you used too much hydration or moisturizing products.

    I heard about Laniege Milk Toner from you guys about a year ago and wanted to try it out. However, we don’t really have K-Brands in India.
    Now with newer K-brands getting available in India-(Laneige just launched all it’s products in India 😊) I did buy the Laneige milk toner from your recommendation - and I love it !! Lots of love from India ❤️
    Small request: It is possible for you to review Laneige Cica sleeping mask- is it good ?

    Love your videos! I had a question. So my routine nowadays is wakeup, work till noon, shower and do face routine, and then do my face routine again at night. Should I do my routine right when I wake up or keep doing it after my shower? Thanks!

    • @abbizoh
      @abbizoh 4 роки тому

      It depends on how much sunlight you're exposed to -- if youre working near a window or your workspace is lit by natural light, you def need to be wearing sunscreen. I know some folks will wake up, wipe their face with a hydrating toner pad/water to get rid of any overnight grime, put on a hydrating sunscreen, go about their day, then do their full face routine after their midday workout/shower.

    • @abbizoh
      @abbizoh 4 роки тому

      But ideally you should do your entire face routine when you first wake up, this way youre spacing out your AM/PM washes enough to give any actives/ingredients ample time to penetrate and do their work for your skin

    • @ansleychan3490
      @ansleychan3490 4 роки тому +1

      If the breakouts aren't going away with treatments then it is probably fungal acne. Use the website sezia to see if your products cause fungal acne. If non of them do then it probably isn't.

    If a sunscreen is 70 % water based does it mean it is easy to take it off..?
    Does it mean it doesn't make your acne worse? I am oily acne prone and I am having trouble in removing my sunscreen at the end of the day...
    I used oil cleanser but it's not working for me so I am thinking of changing my sunscreen to a water based sunscreen, do you think it will be helpful for me.?

    I really want to know your guys' opinion about Juice Beauty! i stumbled on them at Ulta 3 years ago so I know they're well known and used but notice no one in the beauty industry uses their products or just don't advertise them. I rotate cleansers in general depending on my skin but I constantly resort back to their milky and their blemish cleanser
