I have a question, the beautiful parthenon, do you think it can be modified to make it a bit more genuine, like a division between the two rooms, proper rectangular entrances on only two sides, a second set of columns at each entrance, a small pool and statute in one of the rooms, and a roof that can be easily detached to see the inside?
I think it shouldn't be too difficult to modify the temple's exterior but there might not be enough space to add details to the interior at this small scale.
Back then I bought the bricks for this MOC from webrick.com. There you can upload partlists and see instantly which bricks are available and what the costs are. Sadly webrick does not sell bricks by Gobricks any longer. The bricks they use now are by random companies, so the quality is randomized, too. This might be the cheapest way. There are also several websites which offer you to order the needed bricks from Gobricks. You upload a partlist, they will check the list and send you an invoice via email. Of cause you can cancel the process if you are not ok with the price, they will only order the bricks after you have paid. I have not tested this myself, so I can't say if this is more expensive. It will be cheaper than ordering LEGO bricks from bricklink.com. Nevertheless whatever you do you will have to order a handful of bricks from bricklink because some bricks are only produced by LEGO. There are also some websites (even amazon.com) which sell this MOC as a set. But this is not ok, they sell the creator's idea and instructions without his permission. If you buy something from them please be so fair to also buy the official building instructions on rebrickable.These sets also tend to have missing parts and some parts are substituted by others. The build differs slightly from what the MOC's creator has intended.
