I had a chance to listen to the Sonetto V G2 and Sonetto II G2 speakers this weekend at the Audio Advice Raleigh showroom, and I was very impressed. Well done SF!!
Sonus Faber has been on a great run lately. Their design team has really taken the brand to new heights over the past decade. I can't wait to listen to the V G2 Towers.
Mostly i'm considering the Sonus faber Sonetto I or II G2, I have just purchased the Burson Audio Timekeeper 3i Headphone & Speaker Amplifier, do you think this would drive those speaks well? Also, how do these two models compare to the Sonus faber Sonetto II and Sonus Faber Lumina II Amator speakers? I forgot to mention, I would be pairing them with the SVS 3000 micro.
Will the Sonetto G1 and G2 models be available at the upcoming Audio Advice show in August? I’m looking at bookshelf speakers for a music listening room and would love to hear these speakers.
We wish, but there is only one working pair in the US in their NYC showroom. They are worried about the shipping risk which is a valid concern with something this size and cost that has to go back and forth. We hope to see you at Audio Advice Live!
These would be a home run if the drivers weren't white. It just stands out too much against the wood grain and black for me and is easily a deal breaker, no matter the sound.
@@AudioAdvice The grill covers look awful as well though. Maybe if they had the same style grills as the Olympicas. As far as design aesthetics go, this is easily the biggest miss by SF.
Maybe it's sound better than older models but white flower shaped midrange??? That looks just UGLY!!! What are they tinkering Flower power? It looks like toy speaker my daughter would play with. I am happy with my Amati tradition and fan of Sonus faber speaker but flower shaped driver? It's design that went backwards. My first impression "What the f**k it's just ugly!!!!

Are you guys bringing these to audio advice live?

The centre channel costs $5,000 AUD on its own the III G2 costs $8,000 AUD

You can always use the grilles to cover them up!

To each his own, but you can't argue with the sound. Thanks for watching
