Imagine, for this kind of money for amp + speakers you could get a pair of Kii Three, Dutch & Dutch 8c, Neumann KH420 or Genelec 8361, with money left for room treatment. ❤
So, are they overhyped or not? A better question would be: how do they stack up against similar floorstanders within $2000 up or down? Are they good value at their price point? Many of us would have loved some commentary because it is impossible to tell over YT.

Impossible to tell with no consistent high quality recording setup that is constant in positioning while the camera moves around. Sounds very nice but so do many systems. Nothing special evident for such aspirational speakers

This speaker is a huge step back in design for SF. It also sounded horrible at a show, which I know is not that relevant but it was garbage.

Yes if you listen to badly set-up systems. The higher end the more the system will show the errors.
