It ain't all about the QB in the ultimate team sport with 33 players on the field for each team.
When Joe Montana came out of Notre Dame he was thought of as a serviceable QB for mainly a back up type role.
He had a weak arm and was a game manager.
All that was true and yet he won 4 Superbowls and the MVP. Now he's un the Hall of Fame.
You don't need the greatest QB to win league championships you need the best team.
In the past 25 years there have been a few exceptions. But basically you do need a stud QB to win it all 90 % of the time. Especially in today's NFL
I saw Daniels live in Tuscaloosa this year and the way he carved that really good Bama defense up through the air and on the ground convinced me that he was HIM. Maye has potential but I think Daniels’s accuracy and ability to run makes his floor much higher than Maye’s
Drake maye is gonna be Josh Allen or Paxton lynch, I think it really depends on where he goes, I think he could thrive in Washington. But I feel they’ll take daniels and maye will land in NE…

Daniels has a high floor, but the distance between his floor and ceiling is about the same as that of the average hobbit hole in the Shire. Daniels will maybe get us to the divisional round of the playoffs once or twice but any further would be highly unlikely. After 30 years in the wilderness, is that what we want to settle for four or five years before Jayden leaves to sign with the Raiders?
Trusting the Washington franchise is like trusting that the windowless van has candy.

Tbh both teams have horrible linemen. Hopefully that can be addressed….Maye seems like the safe pick but Daniels is duel threat with poise this is tough but hey either team is getting a stud.
There is no decision. This is Justin Herbert vs a skinny and weaker Justin Fields. Daniels is not a passer. And Fields is barely a starting caliber QB nowadays. If thats the case - they should have just rolled the dice with Fields. And it would have costed almost nothing.

It wouldn't surprise me if all three of these QB's bust. Personally, I guess I'd take Jaden Daniels. But I'm not a football expert. Of course, football experts in Denver gave a old, fat, over-the-hill quarterback a monster guaranteed deal, so I think it's basically a crap shoot.
I turned 20 when RG3 was setting Washington on fire, and the whiplash caused by his spectacular flameout left me a broken fan for years. His frame and recklessness reminds me too much of Jaden Daniels-WE DESPERATELY NEED THIS PICK TO STAY HEALTHY. I’m not an expert, I’ll trust the system; it’s insane that we’re flirting with another top 3 QB who’s skinny, fast, and too tough for his own good
