Everybody thinks indycar is so easy just because they come from formula one or some European series and at the same token at indycar we’re not a perfect race series but we’re humble enough to admit that 🇺🇸🏁😎
Ordering 5 chassis to support 2 entries is in line with the smaller teams. Suggesting this team is going to dominate in year one makes it seem like you are ignorant of how competitive Indycar is and what separates the top teams from the rest. Remember, people in the F1 circles had the same expectations of Carlin a few years ago when they jumped to Indycar.
Ask McLaren, they thought they’d come in and beat up Penske, Ganassi, Andretti. You think they have more in depth than McLaren. Grosean thought he’d come in and win, how’d that work out 😆
Considering their struggles with the new F2 car, I doubt they’ll be that great with a car with 2 different aero setups that are interchanged throughout the year.
To expect any team to be "competitive" right off the bat is unreasonable and especially one with no experience running on American tracks. Tracks here are MUCH different than European tracks ( the tracks are much bumpier and of course there are no ovals overseas). Each track the first year is going to be a totally new experience. They will be starting from scratch on day one of practice each weekend trying to find a set up, going against teams with YEARS of set up data and the ability to have a set up to go fast right out of the box on the first lap of practice. There are also pit stops. NOBODY in Europe outside of Formula 1 ( with unlimited numbers of crew that can do a pit stop) has experience doing an 8 second full tire and fuel pit stop with only six men over the wall. Lastly, unless they hire a large number of already experienced INDY CAR engineers, managers, data people and shop personnel, they will again face a steep learning curve before they can hope to be competitive with the Big 4 and even Rahal and others with years of experience.
@williamford9564 No ovals overseas? There have been ovals in both Brazil and Japan. And I seem to recall CART racing on an oval in Germany. I might be wrong about the last one , I'd have to look through the old schedules.
My guess is for their first year theyll struggle a bit....I imagine them with a Rahal type season....few great finishes but mostly sitting around 7th-12th...depending on drivers. I cant imagine them competing with Ganassi's top 2(cuz Lundqvist and Simpson are kind of just there) and Armstrong is super inconsistent...or all 3 Penske or Andretti...or McLaren's top 2(cuz we dont know if Siegel will be any good) That was Carlin's downfall...they never had good drivers in the cars
I hope that Prema comes out competitive. I hope they take wins from Penske and Ganassi. Honestly, I'm sick and tired of Penske winning and Ganassi. I hope that Penske cars crash every race. I don't care. Fuck them. But yes Prema please take wins away from Penske and Ganassi. I just hope that they don't grow too fast that they lose money.
@smokeybandit9760 McLaren got their on track win before Andretti and may get their second ahead of them. They may have two on track by the end of the year whole Andretti still only has one. But I agree the teams are about equal, meaning that Andretti is not better.
Yeah they're coming to Indy but they're not going to automatically start winning, not by a long shot. Penske, McLaren, Cgr, yea there's a lot of good teams.
Alexander Rossi or Conor Daly would be a great addition to a start-up team. Both have tones of IndyCar experience.
Would love to see Daly and Theo
And Rossi
It’s gonna be two years before they make any real stats in indycar but I’m glad there here. A new team adds to the excitement 🇺🇸🏁😎

You are right.
Mick Shumiker?! 😭😭
Most english speaking persons totally butcher the Name tbh
@@FrittenFriseurLPs noooo not really. I’ve honestly never heard anyone pronounce it wrong
@@uscraftgaming2915 maybe you dont know how this Name ist pronounced right in German 😅😅
If Prema could get on the podium in their first year it would be huge.
That would be awesome to see
how does this team have a chevy powerplant when all 14 engine are spoken for w the teams already signed up ??
But will they have Chevy or Honda power?
They have a Chevy lease

Good stuff ty 👍

If I had my choice I'd choose Rossi and Theo aka Teddy Chairs

Dominate lol 😂 Penske and Ganassi have been at the Indycar game a long time
This is true, but Prema has a looong history of success in other forms of motorsports as well. I hope they do great right away
Most confusing thumbnail 😂

what a dumb click bait title. "ready to dominate". More BS has rarely been written.
Sergeant and Mick Schumacher are below average F1 drivers they would be battling with Dayle Coyne for the last positions
Like Mclaren did when they came over to Indycar? Oh wait, they didn't and Prema is way smaller
Haha yeah good point. You would think with all their resources they would be getting top 5 way more often

Iron Lynx actually owns Prema if you didnt know
Just learned something new!
Prema will suck next year. But, longterm, no reason they cant be competitive
McLaren has won more than Andretti this year.
Yeah but they're equal on track, Pato was gifting the St. Pete win
