What a roller coaster! This book was a great reflection to look from the lens of the world and non-believers. Finished having a renewed compassion for how people see life without God. Left me so joyous for knowing Him yet heart-broken for those who don’t. Thank you for doing these and brining people to Jesus. The comments against you for sure are “not of this world”. They are coming for you because of what you are doing. See it as a badge of honor. VICTORY for the Kingdom, one mustard seed at a time. ❤

Blessings Kanoe I be so glad when I can get back to your studies regulary life has been so busy, but great study, and you do exactly the same thing I do with the laundry I wash, and neatly fold, but putting them away is a whole another story 😅 I eventually put them away before the next wash, but it takes a while. Looking at 10:11, re: the snake charmer, this is one that tends to differ depending on the translation. I use an ESV like you do, so I looked at NLT and NIV and they both basically say, "If the serpent bites [fn]before being charmed, there is no benefit for the charmer." I also looked at KJV, which is what the David Guzik commentary is based on when he made his point: "A serpent may bite when it is not charmed; the babbler is no different: As dangerous as a biting serpent is the one who talks - babbles - like a fool. Though the words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, the lips of a fool shall swallow him up." So when all else fails, I say look at the Hebrew or Greek and pick up the trail from there! "Babbler" is one of the lesser definitions of the Hebrew word ba'al, but basically it seems to primarily mean "man" and I think your interpretation is just as valid as any other someone may come up with.

What's with the comment that your ministry has no place to be? It's effective bible study, and I benefitted a lot from learning about Ecclesiastes, and copy some of your points into mine so I remember the context and what it means etc. I have tried watching other bible study ministries but for some reason I just cannot keep the info in. I even stuck with that channel for months, but i just couldn't. it was strange, maybe it's like tuition teachers, not all of them are suitable for some.

Why does my KJV say in Ecclesiastes 8:10, ', and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done', while yours says 'they were praised'?? I'm not sure what to write there.
I'm guessing it means the holy ones were forgotten?
There are discrepancies in the translations of some of the Hebrew words in the KJV. Scholars have found that the literal translation of some of the words were not contextually accurate which is why there was a change.
