Montecarlo SS are rare and they are so nice looking cars I just bought one for $7000 last month and we love it is a black beauty everything is original with straight pipes sounds amazing…love Montecarlos SS 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I just purchased a 2006 Monte Carlo ss to restore I agree that because they only manufactured them for a couple years with the v8 they will be collectable...great video!
Nice car! Cool video. I own a black on black 2006. Owned it since 2010. 40K on it. Never salt or snow. Tons of upgrades. It is absolutely on the rare side and collector car. Less than 14,000 ever made
Nice Monte! I have a red 2006 SS myself. Bought in 2015 with 30k miles. Of course everyones driving habits are different but I installed the 9C1 Police Impala rotors. They are AC Delco brand and I have no more pulsating. Thanks for sharing your car!
🤣😂🤣😂I laughed when you said good luck doing the battery to pain in the ass I got a 2007 Monte Carlo SS myself I've literally just got done changing out the transmission basically add all new parts underneath
I know this is super late and random for when you posted this video but I have 2 almost mint dash pads that I’m selling right now if your wanting to come pick one of them up?
Be aware you will have to do the rockers as unfortunately the side skirts love trapping mud, salt and crap in them and that eats away at the rockers bad. Another thing is the wheel arch rust will become cancer very fast as you could never get the rear side panels because they are unisides. (I learned the uniside issue after some schmuck t-boned my sub 60k mile 03 pace car and it got totaled out ). Granted that was also because if buckled the floor up, cracked the frame, and buckled up the roof from impact...
Just got one 2 weeks ago can’t wait to upgrade it
This Monte is gorgeous ❤
Thank you!
Love your car ❤
Still a Nice looking car, the 2000 to 2007 Final Generation of the Monte Carlo is an underrated car

During your 10 years owning how many times did u have transmission issues?
Ong I'm tryna know cuz I'm looking to buy one
It is on it’s second transmission. I had no warning, just didn’t wanna leave a stop sign one day.
What size rims are they ?
18in, I wanted to stay stock.

Hey Chris, great car! Can you elaborate on leaving the engine cover off? I have a 2006 Monte myself and hearing that made me curious. Thanks!
I was just told it runs better by the guy who tuned it. Traps a little bit less heat.
Nice car. But can’t get over the Fwd, this could of been a great machine.
