Photographing Wildlife on the Isle of Skye Despite Bad Back - Unbelievable Results!

- With my long anticipated visit to the Isle of Skye for a family holiday upon me I decide to injure my back on the first day of the trip. Injuries like this are very debilitating but being in such a stunning location I decided to do as much as I could to make the best of this wonderful wildlife heaven. Watch to see how I got on and some of the strategies I used.

Great video Scott. I do love the Isle of Skye buy I never paid much attention to the wildlife when I was there. Too busy with landscape. Wow I never knew there was that much wildlife there! The great Skye dilemma Adrian. Myself and Leia did try some landscape this time as there is an old abandoned church near where we where staying and the milky way was due to be behind it. However, I forgot that on Skye at this time of year it doesn't get completely dark and after standing there from 11pm to 1am in the biggest swarm of midges I've ever seen we abandoned the idea!!😂 Thanks for watching mate👍

Good video Scott with lovely shots of the wildlife. I hope you have a quick recovery from the injury. I've never spent time on Skye, I always go to Mull and I am booked for two weeks on Mull in September. Hopefully no midges to contend with then. Looks like Skye is quite similar to Mull.
Cheers Paul, I'm not sure I could chose between the two. I do love the feral goats on the Ross of Mull and would love to get back to see them again. Two weeks on Mull in Spetember sound superb mate, will have to get back there again myself. What part are you stopping at?👍
First week in Tobermory and then to Croggan for the second week. Hoping to see some otters around Loch Spelve 😎 I’ve not seen the feral goats, I will see if I can find them.
Amazing place Scott especially with this weather at the moment having a bit of luck myself and unlucky to managed to get some more daytime shots of the pine marten but it caught me off gaurd as its normaly been coming out late on so my shots were a little bit fuzzy😂 but what a week its been up here not often you get to say i was wearing shorts up in the highlands and get a tan 😂😂
I think we struck really lucky the week we where there Andy! Would love to spend a month up there at some point! I may be having a go at pine martin again in August as I have a week in Aberdeen! Thanks for watching👍
