Really love that bed frame! It looks great with those Muji shelves. You have such a great sense of style. I like these kind of casual videos, honestly it's just very relaxing and gives me ideas for my own space. I also really like that you said that "it feels like myself and the self I've been leaning into" very inspiring.
I love how you've been doing these designs. Your living looks like something I would purposely save in my Pinterest for inspiration ... And your bedroom is steadily be coming that too! You have such a cozy, almost-bohemian chic (the colors/textures) mixed with contemporary (furniture shapes/wood). Don't doubt how you do these makeover/design videos. We love how you process things during filming (and how you add the post-thought verbiage).

First of all, I love Paige Wassel. Second, I’m not a fan of tons of plants except for you. You actually know what you’re talking about and have a connection to them, so it makes sense that you would use them around your space. I feel like they are trendy, so people will just go to Home Depot. Finally, I LOVE that headboard/nightstand combo! Everything looks so curated and intentional together
Random information, but before I found your youtube channel, I used to watch all videos at 1.5x or 2x speed. Your videos are the reason why I started watching videos at normal speed, because they give me a sense of calmness and connection. 🤭

More casual videos for 2023 sounds nice. You could always do a weekly blog type thing that has home decor, plant chores, Theo, plant updates, etc

I do agree that with the rug it's reading as a bit too old. the red bedsheets also add to retro feel. maybe rug could work in living room?🤔i think the green of the rug would match the couch.

I love the lighting you put in your home. I too love the small, warm, low light. It’s so calming and makes the place look cozy. I especially like the roundish light on the one side of the bed.

Where did you find the can lights?
I’m not normally not a fan of so many wooden furnitures and colors around the house but I’m LOVING the way you use these elements to decorate your space. It’s so cozy 🥺🥺🥺

i'm absolutely fine with casual WIP vlogs, as long as there is an amount of progress that feels significant to you. even if it's "invisible", like still in a planning phase.

Regarding grow lights
Have you ever hair out grow bulbs into a lamp. I tried it and few plants took off like crazy and then other burned. Oddly the ones that burned weren’t even that close to the lamps
What kind of pillow is your favorite one that you bring everywhere? I’m curious to know what kind of pillow was able to last u so long
Where are the can lights from? I also watch Paige and have been meaning to buy a couple but can lights search isn't working :(

I really like the rug, Benji. But then, I am a “bit” older than you😊. I think it makes your room very cozy, covering the floor you don’t love, and adding some lovely colour. I like how brave you are, buying a large piece like the bed and just going for it. So exciting redoing a room. Love your casual videos. Keep them coming ❤

I got it from a website called Kaiyo. They sell secondhand furniture. Unfortunately, there isn't a tag or markings to indicate the brand. The listing name was "Tranquility Rug," although I doubt that helps much.

I love platform beds. Yours is so freaking cute. I'd snatch that from you in a heartbeat. Can I make one recommendation? One single focus pop of color. Your color palette is warm and muted, just like a small "talking piece of art or plant" with a vibrant color. Of course that matches your asthetic.

This sounds totally random but if you have water stains on your wood furniture you can make a paste out of cigarette ashes & mayonaise & rub the stain with a soft cloth. If the stain is bad it will lessen it, if it's not bad it will make it go away. I have no idea how or why this works but I've been doing it for about 20 years. The hardest part is finding cigarette ashes 😂 I keep a small jar of them under my sink in case of water stains.

Please bring more videos like this one, more casual the better, I really like how you articulate your thoughts and say why you like this or that or not. Also, how you move things around forth and back so the viewer can see the difference. Your videos are the open opener to interior decorating. Amazing, you only follow your taste and instincts, but it makes so much sense what you’re placing where and why.

Where can I find that rug?
For the big artwork that you wanted you could go to an art museum shop and buy a big poster of one of the paintings you like and frame it. It looks super expensive but it usually doesn‘t cost more than 30/40€
