In this video I will be showing you all as to how stringent the rules have become while transiting the Suez Canal after the evergreen ship went aground in 2021.
Millions of dollars worth of cargo is transported everyday via the suez canal & if this gets blocked like it was in the case of Evergiven ship , the world comes down to its knees . That's the beauty of Suez .

I have crossed Panama Canal as a tourist but crossing Suez Canal with a sailor is a totally excitingly different experience. So many technicalities are involved!! Never knew. Kudos to you guys. Especially in the wake of an accident happened yesterday the 8th Aug in the Italian Port of Liverno "One crew died By Mooring Line accident Onboard Tanker MELIGUNIS M". General public is only aware of the rosy picture of everything happening on board.

I never got to cross the Suez Canal back in my day although we were within "sight" of it a couple times. I REALLY enjoyed the crossing but would have liked it a bit more at 70 knots instead of 200, slowing the speed down going under the bridge and panning around would be cool...I know you had the camera fixed and were attending to your duties most of the time. The sharpness of the images is almost like being there, the "super 8" cameras of my time (in the 60's) were almost a waste of time except for close up activities. Maybe next time you cross you might consider setting the camera at a 45 degree angle, catching the canal in front and a good view of the "green side" as you go through and then make the video slow enough to take in the view (70 or 80 knots), kind of like going down a highway at 140 km/h. Thank you for all your effort, it is greatly enjoyed, take care.

By now the audio footage revealed that those highly unprofessional pilots were heard yelling and cursing each other out! And then the Egyptian authorities still tried to blackmail the captain and the shipping company for the instructions THEIR PILOTS messed up! Shameless on behalf of the Suez Canal authorities!!!!

Travelled thru Suez in 1995, drove to Cairo and back to Port Said and seen the ships on the canal looking like ships in a field. Ever Given was being driven by Pilots when the wind blew it into the bank, not Ever Givens fault.Thanks for the video.

True👌🏻 It was the 2 pilots fault Ever Given ran aground as they were arguing about speed and went too fast thats when a gust of wind blew Ever given off course and hit the sand,No faults on the ship whatsoever. SCA just covering for theselves now🙄
Those tugs behind ship is pointless need them close on front to take action swifyly imcase of emergency!
