    🤠 What About The 7mm Back County Cartridge or The 280AI? 🏔

    When will Sako offer a rifle in 7mm PRC caliber? The Sako company has mostly old calibers that do not allow the use of new, more technologically advanced (longer and heavier) projectiles. Additionally, the twist rate of its barrels are not updated like its competitors. A shame, because their rifles are very good.

      NOW! Sako 90 Finnlight is available also in 7mm PRC! 👍

      Indicative of a slow and deliberative company culture.
      In this space a generally good thing. More customer responsive competition should note an opportunity though.

    🤔 are there any left hand models ? And is it possible to order a rifle with iron sights ? The stock would permit better usage for both combined if the scope is mounted with a pair of see-through scope rings !😏👍😁

      3.2-3.3kg according to the website. Magnums weigh even more! More like the FinnAnchor!

    Question is - did Sako kill the market for their Adventure ? Is the fiberglass stock, the 300 grams less weight and cerakote worth those $ 900 extras?

    So, when is the Sako S90 Varmint in .308 going to make it to the US? Introducing another model and you cannot even fill the market with existing models! I may change my mind on Sako for good with all this marketing shennanigans!

    Purchased one in late September, in 300 WM, beautiful rifle, very accurate, used it to harvest an elk at 300 yards, one shot, up here in Montana. Very happy with the rifle.

    Sadly, you lost me at the QAD sling mount. That option makes it very difficult to mount a bipod. I need a swivel stud or picatinny rail (or ideally both). Just some thoughts for the next revision.

      Yea if they wanted to do that they should have done it how they did the s20 on the side and sling studs in normal places.

    Sako you guys are out of touch... i was looking at the 90 peak and 5000 bucks? Really? Theres barely any calibers to choose from, no barrel profiles, no twist rates, no lengths... nothing.
    I'll go self built next time. A nice 3 lug action with 60° throw, prefit barrel, carbon stock. Costs the same (5k) but i can get any calibre, barrel whatever and i can easily replace the barrels myself, even change calibers with different bolt faces...
    Once people catch on you're out of business.

      💯
      I’d rather buy a Christensen or a fierce for that sort of money, I do love the machined in rail on top but most after market actions have that now!
      $6200 for a peak in NZ 😮

    It's too bad Stoeger Canada, importer, had such atrocious customer service. It really does a dis service to Sako and Tikka. I'm an enthusiast and I will never again own anything from the Beretta group of companies a long as stoeger Canada is the importer.

    Sako 85 Finnlight weighed 2.6kg.. Sako 90 Finnlight weighs 3.2-3.3kg.. WTF?!?! More like Sako 90 FinnAnchor!!!

    • @Syd10007
      @Syd10007 3 дні тому +1

      @ true that. But it’s still got a pencil barrel.. the weight juxtaposes the intention of a traditional Finnlight as a mountain rifle.

    • @jerrysmith9935

      total different gun i have 85 in 308 barrel thinner different action and bolt ,new has fatter barrel for threads has new scope rail different stock action different and bolt.so when you do all that to 85 model come out the same but he 90 is ready straight out of box not really going to find a better quality rifle then sako wish mdt would make there chassis for them.

    • @Syd10007
      @Syd10007 День тому

      @ yes we know the Sako 90 is an upgrade to the Sako 85. But calling it a Finnlight and keeping the Finnlight model designation the same with a 25% weight increase is wrong.
      As for rifle quality, please go find a Schultz & Larsen Victory at your store. Even a Steyr SM12 or a Mauser M12 is at the same to higher quality to the Sako. But the S&L is a level above them all.
