I saw this video just now and like the concept. A local shooting range/shop in Calgary has this ammunition in 308 in stock. I will buy a box and see how well it performs in my new S20 Hunter. I've tried two Federal copper loads where the less expensive hollow point deer rounds grouped best but I'd like to find better. So far the only rounds in my limited tests with my new rifle, the Berger Hybrid Hunter has put bullets in the same hole. I still need to fine tune the best shooting set up on public land as indoor shooting ranges in town are short range and are extremely boring. My next shooting session with be a combination of a heavy folding table with Lead Sled and a prone shooting mat making use of a bipod. This is also in Alberta Canada in January. Brrrrrr. Then again, you're Finns and know the same conditions.
Thank You For the information on the "New" PowerHead Blade bullets! My questions are about the Original Blade Ammo in 308win. and 6.5 creedmoor, that were Introduced in 2020 here in the USA. I have read where recently, you made some modifications to these bullets to make them more aerodynamic and added exterior coatings to make them run more smoothly. I also see U have made minor changes in the boxes the cartriges are sold in. My Questions? Are the Earlier Sako Blade 2020 offerings in the above mentioned calibers Still Effective in taking medium/large sized game?? A local gun shop is currently offering these Early Blade Catridge offerings at a Big Discount and I wanted to know if they are still worth purchasing?? I know buying the Newest is Best, but Over 1/2 off is a Good thing if your like me on a Budget. Are these earlier PowerHead Blage Bullets still Effective? I'm a Big Fan of Sako, I have an S-20 in 6.5cm and a A-7 Roughtech LR in 308 and love Both rifles. Appreciate your insight and response! Thanks again and Straight Shootin!
I didn't know where to ask my question so I'm asking it here. How do you explain that a box of Sako powerblade in caliber 375 HH Magnum is sold for €250 in France while a box of Norma Ecostrike is sold for €150. Thank you for your answer.
That must be a mistake from the retailer as the Powerhead Blade 375 H&H are not sold to consumers at this price but rather 130-150€ per box on average. Fro example, we looked at Naturabuy and prices displayed there are not correct. On Chasse Pêche discount they are at 130€/ box.
Not sure about minimum speed, or other calibres but the 6.5mm bullet heads are 120gr and a g1 of 0.348. I find these blade bullets much more effective than the Barnes ttsx. I'm using a 6.5x55 running approx 2800fps mv

On chassepechediscount it’s a promotion, the normal price is 249€. 😅

The price normal is 249€ and promotion 171,90€.
I am saddened by this because the powerblades are very precise in my Sako AIII
What is the minimum speed required for bullet to mushroom? 1800fps or less? What is the bc of the various bullet calibers and weight?
