Yeah i noted that on my play through too, JJJ contradicts himself at times, and his criticisms aren’t consistent. He just hates spider man. But I have no idea why he’d say he respects the spidermen for not killing though if he was going to say the opposite later. Seems out of character or a writing mistake. He just had to criticise Wraith, no need to “praise” the spider men while he does it.
Ohh that last one. DOes Jameson blame SPdiey? NO! Sure, Spidey DID take Oscorp stuff (INVOLUNTARLY!!) But Jameson yells at OSBORNE for CREATING the gunk in the first place!
Since we saw both the Sanctum Santorum and Avengers Tower in the city, this is clearly a world chock filled with Superheroes and Supervillains. Let's be honest, a symbiote invasion is just a Tuesday in the Marvel universe. This wasn't even a big enough crisis for the Avengers to come help, and they were only 6 blocks away. So it's entirely possible the world just trusted the Spider-Men to deal with it. I've been trying to figure out why neither the army, the Avengers, or the Sorcerors helped out towards the end of the game, an in-universe reason not just the fact the game is called Spider-Man, and that's the best I can come up with.
I'm not really a fan of Jonah. I mean, I get you have to have someone criticize Spider-Man, but considering Spider-Man (Miles) had taken him to the hospital when he was possibly injured, and people have repeatedly tried gently and politely correcting him that the Spider-Men are just trying to do good for New York City and ask no reward, he just keeps coming off as more and more of an asshole. And I understand the sake of "writing a character close to their comic origins," but this is just too much. I don't know how he can be so jaded to believe the police can handle Kraven's hunters. I don't know why he thinks someone would care so much of their shaving cream when Spider-Man is stopping the hunters. Why do you criticize Spider-Man for not killing villains and praise the Hunters for doing so if you're then going to turn around? And no scathing remarks of the murderous vigilante Wraith (Yuri)? Jonah is just a badly written character in my opinion. All three costumes, he's shown no character development and no evolution. The fact he even gets pissy with Mary Jane was where I really started to get annoyed with this jerk. I'm sorry, but I think Insomniac needs to change him in the third game. Either make him retire, kill him off, or make him change his tune. But stop dragging this bull crap out. It's not funny anymore, it's hardly enjoyable for some of us. And I'm sure some of us can only handle so many "Spider-Man is evil," yet when will they bother to have him explain why he hates masked people so much? Then have him seek therapy, realize that the masked men who shot his wife and the Spider-Men are nothing alike, and just end this stupid pointless feud! This has gone on long enough...
I mean you're not wrong about his character. But that's the point. He's supposed to be this contradiction of an asshole Because he hates spiderman. He's been that way since his inception in the 60s to now. Some characters in fiction are by design not supposed to be likable
Why there was no army called upon the symbiotes? Even Jonah himself points this out. It’s like everyone just left New York for Spider-Men to save and fix. Strange stuff how city doesn’t do anything against such a global issues and events. And don’t tell me they had no time to react 😂
Maybe because the Spider-Men proved that the victims could be de-symbiotised (?). It's gotta be hard to justify sending the army or national guard to murder your own citizens to death. But, perhaps more accurately, this is clearly, since we saw both the Sanctum Santorum and Avengers Tower in the city, a world chock filled with Superheroes and Supervillains. Let's be honest, a symbiote invasion is just a Tuesday in the Marvel universe. This wasn't even a big enough crisis for the Avengers to come help, and they were only 6 blocks away. Whoever plays Jameson in this game can give JK Simmons a run for his money. He’s good
It's Ardyn from Final Fantasy 15.
@@azazel166 He’s really good. He reminds me of JK Simmons
Darin De Paul 🙂

It’s Reinhardt from Overwatch.
It would piss me off when I would be listening and something interrupts it so I can no longer listenZ thanks for posting
Ok, for JJJ, his podcast about Miles being captured by the hunters was ALMOST heartwarming.
15:40 I like how he actually for once shows concern for a Spider Man

Double standards
That's one thing was missing, was the long podcast
Really wish symbiote spiderman would have got pissed and confronted Jonah for his bullshit
I was hoping for a jjj symbiote
Me too.
podcasts in spider-man 1 - 84+ Podcasts in this, like 7? I didn't count.

Makes me wonder if they'll add the X-Men school or the Baxter Building in the next one.
20:36-20:44 dude they were going to blow up a building
Jameson doesn't know that. He's taking his best guess.
I wish they would keep them playing during fights.
