    I like the D7 chord - even though it has no root note (but it works in context w/ other chords).

      I like the bar chord version of D7.

    Hi Justin.
    You should have emphasised - for easyer memorizing - that any minor chord (Xm) has just a dropped third (halftone) compared to the major. Same for X7: Just a dropped tonic (fulltone).
    This can be experienced very good on the A and D chords.

    I much prefer your 'E' chord to the one I find commonly in Uke songbooks

    another version of the e major is to simply bar the fourth fret strings and mute the 1st string or play it back a fret, (b) this is the version I play the most but it isn't considered open. But I'm glad he showed this version cause I never considered it and it's in none of my books

    Just a little note: if you're finding the E chord difficult use this variation: instead of 2104 ( as suggested in the video) use 3331

    • @matuwuhou
      @matuwuhou 2 роки тому

      E is 4442, 3331 is a D#

    For me the easiest way to play the E chord is 4447 (its an simple barre chord)
