Thank you for all of this information, this is extremely helpful. Earlier this year I started including yoga with my strength exercises. I now notice greater flexibility and balance. Our hills are just opening here, and I am looking forward to using your warm up techniques. Again, thank you for sharing. Larry
My first day has not come yet, but, usually it will be at Ragged Mtn. in New Hampshire. I will do one legged drills on an easy slope to check out balance and find my edges for the season. My stretching will be done at home, as I live 15 Minutes from the hill. ( I practice standing on one leg at the gym prior to ski season ) Thanks for sharing vids on your turns . . . . Your fitness level shines through easily on each executed turn !
@@wildrfitness My first day was Saturday. I began with Braquage, until I felt centered and with good upper/lower body separation. From there I moved on to Javelin Turns linked to Royal Christies down a gentle slope . . . . one ski at a time. I was so thankful for the one legged balancing that I had done in the gym . . . My balance was even better than last season !! Thanks for asking . . . Merry Christmas :)
My first day was Whistler on Nov 28. Doing some roller blade turns and ice skating this fall, and participating in the WILDR 8 week ski ready program helped for a great day one
Thanks for this helpful advice. It usually takes me about a week to find my ski legs and then that's the last day we're at the slopes!
You got this, enjoy your time out skiing!

So great to have you in our ski program! Roller blade turns are great, I will do some this week!
DO NOT SKI WITH YOUR BOOTS UNDONE!!!
You risk seriously knee injuries and you will invalidate your ski insurance.
You are right ypu should definitely approach the boots undone drill with caution on a simple slope ypu are comfortable as noted in the video.
