[S2 - Eps. 5] FIX THAT PUNCTURE!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- Part 2 of the first day's ride. Can you believe that luck of catching a nail in the tyre on day numero 1?! On the other hand, this was good practice because it took me 2,5 hours to change the tube. I'm sure next time it will be faster!
But besides the thunderstorm, mud and flat tyre of this day, it was absolutely fantastic. Great trails, beautiful country side and a lot of wildlife keep me happy at any day! I hope tomorrow will be a slightly easier day though..

Noraly has the ability to turn all adversities into learning opportunities. Her optimism is inspirational. My favorite UA-camr!

Absolutely
Agreed
Same Here--she is very Addictive...
There's plenty of people who have never changed a tube in their own garage, let alone in the middle of nowhere on another continent, AND for the first time. I cannot express how much respect I have for that alone.
And how the heck you tell if it's a one way street is beyond me. It seems like the sort of town you could ride around in circles trying to get out of. Everywhere looks the same..this looks like being the start of a great riding adventure. :-)
Awesome isn't she !
what is that tool? i NEED IT
Puncture story starts at 4.38 thank me later 😁😁
I hear ya, I take my bike to the local shop every time I need new tires, having to fix a flat out in the middle of nowhere would put me in panic mode.
@Bernard Bout Ah yes, well spotted!
What a "nail biter" this episode has been! Noraly, you gain more of my respect and admiration with each posting! I'm an 86 year old Grandma having traveled in over 50 countries in the world. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to continue my travels vicariously through you and Dhanno. Be safe.
@dorothy : you must be having a lot of stories too :)
Dorothy? I don't want to be rude but I worked as a customer support representative over the phone and I remember assisting a customer named as you (I really don't recall the last name) and she told me the story of her trips over 50 countries (including mine, Honduras) and she was soooooo lovely and after hundreds of customer, that customer made a huge impact on me so, I was wondering if could be you. My name is Alex, by the way.
Everyone needs a woman like this in their life. What a hero.
La mayoría de hombres no somos capaces de seguir su ritmo ! 😂😂😂
First time! Now I am jealous!
We could clone her, USA will trade you a bunch of useless ones
Sure brother. A great woman. No fear. Beautiful.
Where to found a woman like this????
This Lady doesn’t worry about having perfect nails ! 🏍
…unless they are sticking in a tyre… ^^)
Those don't get on bikes, let alone leave hometown & definitely solo adventure anywhere. One tough Dutch lady.

Who could not adore Noraly? Nothing dampens her enthusiam!
I agree. She is a great example to us all.
I feel like a bad ass at times taking my harley on long trips.. Then i watch this and realise i am nothing but a boy compared to this woman.. complimenten.
I admire her skills as well.
Take your harley on road brother...post a video of your trip. I just subscribed to you to watch your trip 💐
@@og_LionKingGaming well. Got a daughter coming this year but planning to go from Netherlands to denmark into sweden to norway all the way up down finnland into sweden and back home. Going to film that trip. But wont be sooner than 2022. Dad life has prio to big trips.
@@TheNostorian Best wishes sir🙏
Having the courage to admit that takes something. I have two daughters. Before the first one I "wished" for a boy. But after the first girl a really hoped and wished for yet another girl when the second was on the way, and I was lucky. My girls are tough.
Today they are grown up but they are not as tough as Noraly.
Respect to Noraly for being able to handle what could have been a huge problem for most with the flat. But she did it with a smile. Kudos
if you cannot handle a flat, dont go biking.
Noraly has an admirable attitude to problems she comes across - she smiles it away. No stress! Not many of us can do that!
Well this adventure is fun after all ;)
She's amazing
@@ItchyBoots Your grasp of language amazes me as you have to multi-task the mind, and your pauses, of--'...yeah...' when you know the next moment is endearing.
The world would be a better place with more people like Noraly
she did a great job paying attention to whoever trained her AND staying cool and laughing about it the whole time...class act!
hooo my god !!!! I'm 60 years old, in all my life this is the first time I see a pretty blonde repair a motorcycle wheel on the edge of a dirt road !!!! I am totally in awe !!! I almost ask you in marriage !!! seriously, I am very impressed by your travels, I do not miss a single of your videos! a thousand kisses and a good trip !!!
I am a gentleman from the Philippines like you fond of riding motorcycle. I also dream of riding motorcycle touring the whole of my country but due to financial constraint earning a living to my family my dream never materialize. This is due to the costraint financially. By the way I am also a good motorcycle rider during my younger age I am a motocross rider. But now I am already 74 years of age its no longer feasible to fullfil my dream. I really admire you. Such a beautiful lady having the guts to do your dreams at younger age. Your admirer from the Phillipnes. Always keep safe. 13april2021.
This lady is every guy’s dream. Delightful, always positive, adventurous, no drama, resourceful, intelligent, beautiful. Reminds me of the ideal women of Sparta in Ancient Greece. Look forward to each new episode of her epic adventure. Thanks for the memories🙏
Huge respect for repairing a puncture at the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere! I hope that's the only time you need to do it on this trip.
Right! Scary esp when its getting dark .
She didn’t fix a puncture..

@@g-low6365 Ooh I like that, thanks! 😂😂👍
I do,
I stumbled upon this expisode about a yeat ago. With a start like that I figured this would be an epic trip! I was right, what an adventure! Since then I have watched every Itchy Boots video. Noraly is a unique treasure. She finds so much beauty where ever she goes. But of course it is her beautiful spirit. that truly shines.
This adventure started when Danno was pulled out of the crate. You are a legend Norally. A total legend.
Bit correction it is "Dhanno" A name in India.
Your ability to adapt and overcome adversity is impressive. The fact that you do it with a smile on your face, is truly inspiring. You are a true adventurer!
I recently changed my tyres by myself...and i have to say that is an extremely hard task...But you were well prepared and informed for a job like this!!
Excellent Norally!!! And again...respect!!!
I love how you still smile after getting a puncture. You just get on with life 👌🏼 good luck out there.
Fairly sure I'd have broken out the F word at that point.
She has the best attitude ever. I'm humbled by her can-do spirit. It makes me want to do something big...
@@I-Libertine You're not kidding. I get upset when my lawn mower breaks down fifty yards from my house.
You’re an absolute legend.
As of December 2020, there are 260 thumbs down on this video. What on Earth could anyone not like about this? She's having a true adventure, something most of us never get to have. She's competent, funny, skilled, and courageous. Patagonia to Alaska? Most of us think driving to the grocery store is a long trip. Kudos, Noraly!
Here it is December 2021 and we have no idea how many dislikes there are. Gone are the dislikes totals. Answer for yourself, Why?

Mademoiselle vous êtes tout simplement adorable! Qu’elle positivité! Vous dévore la vie! C’est vraiment un plaisir de vous suivre! Bonne continuité 🇨🇦🌹
Howdy IB! Wow you really are WonderWoman! OMG ! Thanks for sharing the tire problem..that is what you face everyday especially riding off pavement, the risk are worth the rewards! Amazing! ❤
You’re teaching a humble and valuable way to approach life to a lot of people. Its maybe not what you mean to be doing, but that is what is happening. Good job with the tire and tube!
Your positiv attitude is very rare. You are amazing . You are a great inspire for other people . God bless you princess of NL
one puncture ,3 one way streets and still smiling ,,way to go gal ,,,
I admire your positive calm when you discover a puncture and just fix it with a happy smile 👍🙂
Guss what happend, when the camera was shut down.
She got self control, if she is filming. Sad in a way. May show some more emotions, if most ppl do. Makes it more authentic.
O one is running around with a smile anytime.
As a newbie to your videos in 2022, I’m amazed at Noralys enthusiasm and calmness in the middle of nowhere no matter what. Hats off to her. Stay safe in your future travels. 👍👍
She’s vlogging so she has to do that. No one wants to watch a person complaining how hard their life is in a UA-cam video. Everyone has their bad days.
Very impressive tube change there, I know a lot of men who couldn't do it, many who wouldn't have a clue where to start
really? then you shouldnt bike on away places.
You are Incredible! Multi-lingual, great skills, wonderfully flexible personality, appreciation of nature.....Wow! You are very rare! You go gurl!
R Jo ...thats what I wanted to comment...

You must be one of the most posetive and happy souls on earth 😀
If I was there at that field, literally middle of nowhere and my bike had a puncture like that and the thunder storm behind me and 3 pm on my clock; I would have a bad palpitation. I'd even have tears in my eyes and I'd get super freaked out for sure. I really salute your courage, patience and cool headed decisions. Great job Noraly. There's a wise a brave person inside that smiling woman!
And after all you have been through you still went and edited and posted this video. Amazing.
I'm now officially hooked on watching this woman's adventures as I self isolate due to the virus. Love her attitude no matter what life throws her way. Kindred spirit of motorcycling. Kudos girl

Faced so many obstacles in just one day and still staying positive - that's the spirit. Great respect!
Always good to carefully, run your hand round the inside of the tyre in case there are two nails! I have had it happen! Good job Noraly you are my heroine!
Incredible! I would be petrified just being out there alone for over two hours - let alone changing a tire and no one passed by. Wonderful spirit!
Watching Itchy Boots videos is a million times better than work!
Noraly you are amazing! Most guys would be swearing mad about a flat tire after a ride like that and you just smile and say I can do this. You are such a good mentor on how we all should live life. I will be watching every day for more of you video adventures. Thanks for being your self and keep on smiling.
She teaches us a lot doesn't she. Amazing women.
@@jimmyyeo yes I agree.
Big respect, going alone, fixing a tyre in the middle of nowhere, a true adventurer. True Grit!
Changed that tire like a boss, Noraly is a bad ass and yet keeps her sweet and positive composure.
Good experience comes from bad experience! A little bad experience, a little knowledge, and a lot of motivation will definitely build a lot of confidence for the future. Good on you!!!
I do admire the fact that she could take care of the flat on her own. Awesome.
If I were to get into a jam on the road the first thing I would say to myself...... "how would Noraly handle it"!! Keep up the good work and inspiration!
I admire and LOVE your attitude! A puncture? O.K. it is what it is and let's fix it. Especially for the first time not to mention it had to be the rear tire. Great job.
Love your accent, I'm married to a Dutch girl for 26 years now but her accent is nothing like yours, she's not so adventurous either...happy trails and stay safe
You go Norally. Great to be on your second adventure with you !!
Fearless.. Your father must be a very proud man indeed
For a long distance rider, having a centrestand is a huge help if this happens. Those extension tyre levers were good and being able to turn them into a mini ramp to roll the tyre into its correct position was a bonus. Very well done
I just can’t believe her. She is amazing. I found you a couple weeks ago and now I’m hooked. I started in the Africa then I went back to the beginning. Your are a Great person to bring some sunshine in my life. Thanks
Amazing job changing that tube, in the middle of nowhere, with storm coming :)
How the hell can people give this a thumbs down, what planet are they on. Just jealous springs to mind. What an inspiration you are ! Ask majority of guys to change a inner tube and they wouldn’t know where to even start, me included. Just binged watched nearly all your vlogs, couldn’t stop watching them. Hope your bike gets back ok from Peru. Wishing u all the best and keep them vlogs coming x
Your composure when having to deal with a flat tire in the middle of nowhere is admirable. I envy your skills.
Excelente, me gusto mucho tu aventura y como solucionaste de bien tu imprevisto, felicitaciones, eres una guerrera, saludos desde Colombia, también usuario de una Himalayan☺
you stay so calm and even keep a sense of humor, it what is obviously a stressful and frustrating scenario...kudos!
Not only are you beautiful with a super personality...you're not afraid of hard work. Loved seeing the dirt on your hands.
Proud of you.
Can I say you are an amazing woman, and I'm humbled by your strength and passion 🙏🏻
You accomplished what 99.9% of men in the US cant. I would sit on the site of the road in some remote country cursing at the thing.. Realising it wont get fixed by itself. Youre a great inspiration to EVERYONE. Hello AAA? What do you mean you dont have coverage in Kazakhstan lol
I don't remember how I start watching your videos, probably UA-cam suggested them to me. But after some time I love your stories and enjoy watching them. But until this video, I never write a comment or subscribe to your channel. There were (some of them were life-threatening) challenges you face with. But in this video, you got my full respect and appreciation. I applause standing on my feet. Your calmness, courage, and adventurous spirit is admirable. I had 2 bikes before, first one was Keeway very cheap, chopper-style my starting machine to learn riding. And second, was BMW F650GS. After marriage, I sold it, 3 years ago. But while watching your trips, I share all your passion and excitement. I just start living in Berlin now. I hope I will buy another motorbike and hit the road again. Who knows maybe we will meet in a crossing. Until then I wish you the best and thanks for your videos. I will be following. Again with my deepest respect and greetings.
You're one awesome woman! You're doing rides (and tyre changes) that many men wouldn't tackle. Good luck (and full tyres!) on all your travels.
"but I did it!" ... Beautiful Noraly! 👍👍

Hello from Russia, Noraly!
Wow, you're a real heroic woman ✌️
Morally, I LOBE your attitude and how you respond to your unexpected challenges. Your command of your Spanish and and English languages is most impressive. You are an amazing person! A true explorer,!
Noraly, I hate, _hate_ changing tyres, and here you are doing it in the middle of a field. So inspiring.
I love how you accept a challenge and act accordingly, well done! All the best for your trip!
Arthur Øvretveit there are plenty of bikini bimbos on UA-cam. Not many ladies like this though.
N. A. McBee I have to agree completely. I have raised two daughters (35 yrs and 32 yrs now). I must admit there are things I wish I would have taught them such as changing a flat tire on their cars etc. I know that Norly has done some Q&A videos I’ve seen some of one of them but I wonder what her parents, especially her father think of their daughter traveling strange countries alone. Is her father they type that taught his daughters how to use tools etc? Not trying to be sexist at all but we all know that many ladies would be in distress and she took care of the problem with a smile and great attitude I’m impressed. Her father would be proud.
@@badapple65
Yeah, I have a daughter, too, she's a student now. Although she is a smart person, she would never drive a mc, let alone repair it :) But that is true for many men also. I have not even the tools to repair a puncture on my mc, I had to call a tow truck :) I really admire Noraly, she gave me the inspiration to buy my first bike, a CB500F, at the age of over 60 :)
Greg Appelgren It would be interesting to hear about her parents. I have three daughters at home and before I’ll let them drive, I will teach them and then they will have to show me that they can change a tire, check and add oil, add windshield washer fluid, etc.
Noraly obviously has a wander-lust as she has mentioned that she has hiked around many different countries. Her parents must feel better about her at least being on a motorcycle.
Your giggles are so refreshing :D Hugs from Groningen
Noraly, you are one of the finest ladies I have ever seen - keep smiling :-); safe travels !
Your laughter is just infectious.
Love it, Noraly is a real class act!

Changing a tube based off road tyre in the middle of the nowhere..!!
You have balls girl..
Respect....
bostorgay also well prepared and with a great attitude.
So glad for her not having to do it in the rain. Close call by the looks of it. She definitely wouldn't of deserved that kind of luck.
And intelligence. She knew how to change that tube before she had to. She planned ahead. And had the necessary equipment and I'm guessing the necessary training. She knew how to get the hub back in place on the axle. Also because she planned ahead. An intelligent person. And psychologically the kind you want to be around when things get tough.
If you watch her vlog from the beginning you might know she worked in a two wheeler workshop in Delhi so that she can do these sort of work in the middle of nowhere.
Young lady you're very resourceful. When I was a tadpole I learned to take the tube part way out of my bicycle, without taking the tire off the bike.Patch it, pump it up...keep riding.
