that blue and white dragon emblem on their shields is the emblem of bahamut the dragon god of mercy and justice. He's also believed to be the only platinum dragon that is known to exist and the creator of metallic dragons.
the blue dragons are one force I would wish on my side in any battle! you nailed the look man, inspiring and creative use of parts as always. Frodo's hair on the king with the beard looks cool. Conjurs up anglo saxon king / king arthur style nicely
Would love to see a Lizardman army riding Dewbacks as mounts. I’ve been using Chima figures or the lizard from Spiderman. Could be an interesting neutral/natural swamp faction for your world
The paladin cmf is amazing for castle figs. Give the heavy knights a crow's beak pole arm or a pole ax. I bet that some fantasy-era crown knight barding would match nicely for some blue dragon cavalry.
Very cool builds! My fantasy world has whole kingdom of dragon riding knights who were originally inspired by the original "dragon master" version of the Dragon knights, but each new dragon livery now lets me add more chapters to my order!
I really like your armies, especially the blue dragons! The backstory is great and logic if we consider the look of the minifigures. Furtermore I love the different part usages in your characters, especially when you combined the blue dragons with the crown nights!😊
Give your knights a pole arm (like the one from medieval blacksmith), a regular longsword and a mace with a shield (mace being the brown stick with the grey gear piece)
As a new subscriber, I am pumped to see your content, it's so much fun! I don't like removing arms, because they are usually loose on the new minis, and I have yet to find a solution for that. I recall my uncle using a white powder when he reassembled, but idk what it was. ABSOLUTELY CANT WAIT FOR THE TEMPLE BUILD. Btw can you do a broken church build, I'd love to see that in your styling, I am working on one for my lego land with my boys, and I need the inspiration (think church of Marika from eldin ring.)
a suggestion you could do to maximize like 5 minifigures is you could take the torsos, flip them, give them brown arms like you did, and then use the leftover cmf arms & legs on actual armored knights using the new cmf armor piece too!
For the heavy knights, I think you should give them large weapons such as two-handed warhammers They look pretty bulky so giving them such weapons would enhance that
Green dragons are the best dragon faction so far. Cult brick viking helmet with gold decoration is great addition. However custom blue dragons are cool too. Nice customization indeed. Luckily I also have all dragon factions including new GWP Dragon master (sadly small numbers lol).
Give the heavy knights polearms. Having a heavy two handed axe or war hammer, or better yet a bec de corbin, would turn these waking tanks into walking nightmares for their enemies
I like idea of red dragons actually worshiping some ancient dragon-vampire, and because of that they are very close friends with Fright Knights. While blue paladin dragons worship holy dragon that is like yoda for them. As for weapons for knights, I think mace piece from original gold dragon minifig is really nice piece, so they could have weapons made using this pieces, not just as mace, but hammer too, double sided hammer etc.
halbreds and warhammers for the heavy infantry and maybe add some priests that use magic to aid the army for the cult leader who is actually in hiding from his arch nemesis basil the batlord, the blue dragons continue to hunt down the last of the fright knights and patrol the coast of the bone isles to keep basil on his island, but basil is planning something, something thats will bring the blue dragons to their knees…
I think the best weapons for the heavy guys are double handed axes for the left and the right guy and a mace and one of this blue dragons shields form the knight in the center.
the tree men in the blue dragon army that you asked for which weapons will go good with it for the 2 guys on the sides give them swords and the guy in the middle give him a war hammer
All of The Dragon Knight factions should use a variety of Flamethrower or Incendiary Weapon like Greek Fire Flamethrower/Lance combo! Each faction also uses a different color of fire. Green use green fire, red use standard orange flames, blue use blue fire
3:34 so the dude in the middle should be the leftenate (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and should have maybe a great sword or maybe a warhammer and shield and the other two could have a great sword or maybe Halberds
Not sure if you have the pieces, butt his armor would go well in making a "modern" black knight (just drop it over an old black knight with visor helm and old shield).
The leader the blue falcons worship should be a Dragonborn, maybe the gold head or even the ultra rare light blue one. I think a dragon god/priest would really fit.
Overall cool, but I think reversing the torsos looks silly, like where is the buckles? Of you can get some of the old dragon plumes that would look cool
I went to my Walmart where I get all my CMS well so I had already dug through every single Dragonborn figure so I’m gonna have to wait till they restock it
another note on swapping minifig arms: NEVER swap pearl gold. I lost two golden ninjas that way 😭😭 Also, I think the heavy footsoldiers should have hammers. that would look epic
i think the heavy-armored knight with the raising visor helmet should have the new D&D blue dragon shield and the dual-molded gold and trans-blue sword from Lego Dreamzzz, but the gold parts custom-painted silver. what do you think of that combo and customizing?
The blue dragons faction backstory is a description of what most DnD players play the paladin class.
that blue and white dragon emblem on their shields is the emblem of bahamut the dragon god of mercy and justice.
He's also believed to be the only platinum dragon that is known to exist and the creator of metallic dragons.
@@UNSCMarine117I was going to say that
Man, lego just dropped the best new castle faction.
I actually think the knights should have axes. They're so armoured they don't need a shield
it's not a castle faction
@@WiZard_3829 figure of speech
Greataxes!
ITS AVATAR IN THE BACKGROUND!!! LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!!
For the heavy knights I think halberds would work well with the leader maybe wielding a large mace like the base cmf
the blue dragons are one force I would wish on my side in any battle! you nailed the look man, inspiring and creative use of parts as always. Frodo's hair on the king with the beard looks cool. Conjurs up anglo saxon king / king arthur style nicely
Thanks man! yeah i was really pleased with how that hair/face combo ended up looking
Would love to see a Lizardman army riding Dewbacks as mounts. I’ve been using Chima figures or the lizard from Spiderman. Could be an interesting neutral/natural swamp faction for your world
I love the blue dragon archers! The combo of white torso with brown works really well and is unique! 👏👏
Thanks! I like the overall idea of it but i gotta find some printed brown legs for them
The paladin cmf is amazing for castle figs.
Give the heavy knights a crow's beak pole arm or a pole ax.
I bet that some fantasy-era crown knight barding would match nicely for some blue dragon cavalry.
True! Even the older blue & black dragon bardings would go nicely with them.
Crow's Beak AKA Bec De Corbin, a truly underrated polearm. Very easy to build, deadly against all!
Great video! Love the combinations with this new CMF. Also: ATLA playing in the background? Truly a man of culture
Love to see ATLA season 2 episode 10 "The Library" in the background :)
This looks epic! Keep it up Goldfyre
Hey thanks! :)
@@GoldfyreI see avatar the last air bender in the backround too, you have great taste in shows, got any recommendations?
If Goldfyre keeps on building dragon armies, he could make up his own House of the Dragons story. 😏
I love the way u made them they look so well
i love ur videos and u inspired me to make my own cause i thought ur videos looks so cool😀
Man, keep it up. Your videos motivate me to build and start up the new underground castle lego movement
Very cool builds! My fantasy world has whole kingdom of dragon riding knights who were originally inspired by the original "dragon master" version of the Dragon knights, but each new dragon livery now lets me add more chapters to my order!
Would have to say your favourite build is archers & crossbowmen. Feel you always put great effort into them and they look amazing
I really like your armies, especially the blue dragons! The backstory is great and logic if we consider the look of the minifigures. Furtermore I love the different part usages in your characters, especially when you combined the blue dragons with the crown nights!😊
I love the Red Dragon Knights. Truly under appreciated. The red dragon, wizard and shield design sold me on them on sight.
Great Video! The Factions are looking great!
I love these army building vids, great work!
Omg the dragon born Paladins pieces are so good with coltbrick's helmet just beautiful 👌🔥
Give your knights a pole arm (like the one from medieval blacksmith), a regular longsword and a mace with a shield (mace being the brown stick with the grey gear piece)
What part of your medieval town are you going to build next?
I love those minifigs and you could use some of the golden dragon heads on their Temple if your gonna make it any time soon
For the blue army you should get a couple of the ninjago gold Kai swords
I can't wait to see your Bahamut Temple build
I am going to buy more of the dragons because they are just so well made
me too hahaha im u
I actually really like the brown legs on the blue dragon archers! It makes them stand out from the rest of the faction
3:23 Give them a warhammer, more-like a heavy paladin, the most cool fig that Lego has made, in my opinion~
I love the combination of 2013 crown knights and the blue dragons looks super cool!
The knights are cool and all but how can I focus on that when PERFECTION is playing in the background
hehehe, avatar is my favorite show from my childhood.
a suggestion you could do to maximize like 5 minifigures is you could take the torsos, flip them, give them brown arms like you did, and then use the leftover cmf arms & legs on actual armored knights using the new cmf armor piece too!
that way you could turn 5 into 10
For the heavy knights, I think you should give them large weapons such as two-handed warhammers
They look pretty bulky so giving them such weapons would enhance that
Great armies and good video!
Awesome man ❤
I think war picks would work really well for those three heavily armoured knights.
They look great! Personally I don’t mind the resddiwh brown legs on the crossbow men. Gives them a simpler but still good look!
Green dragons are the best dragon faction so far. Cult brick viking helmet with gold decoration is great addition. However custom blue dragons are cool too. Nice customization indeed. Luckily I also have all dragon factions including new GWP Dragon master (sadly small numbers lol).
For the heavy knights you should use halberds, by putting an axe piece on a spear.
Couldn’t help bust notice Avatar playing in the background. All these figures look great!
Give the heavy knights polearms. Having a heavy two handed axe or war hammer, or better yet a bec de corbin, would turn these waking tanks into walking nightmares for their enemies
YES new goldfyre video! Keep up the good work!
I like idea of red dragons actually worshiping some ancient dragon-vampire, and because of that they are very close friends with Fright Knights. As for weapons for knights, I think mace piece from original gold dragon minifig is really nice piece, so they could have weapons made using this pieces, not just as mace, but hammer too, double sided hammer etc.
I like the idea of Warhammers for these guys because I bet you have quite a few of the new clear mace piece now
Where did you buy all the dungeons and dragons dragon knight figs from
halbreds and warhammers for the heavy infantry and maybe add some priests that use magic to aid the army for the cult leader who is actually in hiding from his arch nemesis basil the batlord, the blue dragons continue to hunt down the last of the fright knights and patrol the coast of the bone isles to keep basil on his island, but basil is planning something, something thats will bring the blue dragons to their knees…
If I owned a custom printing shop, I would be making printed legs that are specifically for Lego torso’s that Lego never gave us printed legs for.
I think the best weapons for the heavy guys are double handed axes for the left and the right guy and a mace and one of this blue dragons shields form the knight in the center.
Tomorrow I am getting the red dragon head! ☺️
the tree men in the blue dragon army that you asked for which weapons will go good with it for the 2 guys on the sides give them swords and the guy in the middle give him a war hammer
Bro was watching avatar the last air bender in the back 🗿
All of The Dragon Knight factions should use a variety of Flamethrower or Incendiary Weapon like Greek Fire
Flamethrower/Lance combo!
Each faction also uses a different color of fire.
Green use green fire, red use standard orange flames, blue use blue fire
Love the avatar in the back w arch
I've struggled a lot with brown legs in the past. if you're okay with them having dark brown, try giving the archers beskar mandalorian legs
The mace weapon that the dragon paladin uses in his minifigure would be food for those heavy knights of the blue dragons
For the back print archers you can use Jack Sparrows legs😊
I’d suggest making a monk or Chaplin for the blue dragons, the torso would work good
You should go for poleaxes with a hammer on the side opposite to the axe for your heavy knights.
Han Solo’s brown legs could work well for archers, I have a couple and they look great
Just order green dragon torsos. Saves money. Great Figure designs!
So this guy is why I can't find any of the dragonborn in store
i like the idea of mounted spearmen.
I'm excited about how you are going to extend your Fantasy City with the Dragon knights.
I think they should be something like the Teutonic order irl
Like a cult with different levels of service
The Red Dragon Knights is my favorite LEGO faction due to their designs
I may love the Skeleton Army, but bare bones could only get you so far
The heavy duty guys should have halbards
The Blue Dragons! (uses white dragon sigil) playin... great vid bro 🙃
GoldFyre UR INCREDIBLE 🥳🥳🥳
1:54 The shoulder pads might look better over the cape.
3:30 I think a Halberd would work really well with them.
I much prefer capes over shoulder armor
You should give the heavy armoured ones great swords. I don't know if it's accurate but it would be cool.
This is awesome
3:34 so the dude in the middle should be the leftenate (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and should have maybe a great sword or maybe a warhammer and shield and the other two could have a great sword or maybe Halberds
The heavy armored blue dragon knights may probably wield double-bladed axes, claymore swords, or war hammers.
You should make a white dragon using the parts from the Elves Dragons line as the blue dragon knights leader.
Combining the blue lions with the dragon knigths. Genius.❤
Ah yes you saved the best faction for last
Not sure if you have the pieces, butt his armor would go well in making a "modern" black knight (just drop it over an old black knight with visor helm and old shield).
You have excellent creativity! I love your different units. Where do you get the dual molded spears?
another great video from goldfyre
Thanks man :)
@@Goldfyre no problemo
The leader the blue falcons worship should be a Dragonborn, maybe the gold head or even the ultra rare light blue one. I think a dragon god/priest would really fit.
Overall cool, but I think reversing the torsos looks silly, like where is the buckles? Of you can get some of the old dragon plumes that would look cool
The heavy knights could use the maces from the CMF
If you can find some tattered capes or make your own that would be awesome for the red dragon to make it more Savage like
Also if your gonna plan to add capes to your figures have the caps be someone within the higher ranks like Commander or General
1:08 100% agree
how many do you have gold dragon's heads left?!
I went to my Walmart where I get all my CMS well so I had already dug through every single Dragonborn figure so I’m gonna have to wait till they restock it
I love these armies I went to my local lego store with my friend at 10:00 the day they were officialy released for everyone We got 8 in Total!
another note on swapping minifig arms: NEVER swap pearl gold. I lost two golden ninjas that way 😭😭
Also, I think the heavy footsoldiers should have hammers. that would look epic
Would be interesting to hear your lore reasons behind the 3 different dragon factions - are they linked in any way?
With the new armour you can also make gondorian soldiers
You should add red Kamas to the red dragon crossbowmen
Give these knights maybe gold spares
I absolutely knew people would army build these guys
i think the heavy-armored knight with the raising visor helmet should have the new D&D blue dragon shield and the dual-molded gold and trans-blue sword from Lego Dreamzzz, but the gold parts custom-painted silver.
what do you think of that combo and customizing?
Wearing a cape when operating a crossbow seems risky
Avtar in the background, the episode before Apa gets kidnapped
Any ideas for all the heads that gets left over from the new CMF?
