Anthony Johnson? Johnson is a scary man the Teixiera fight was terrifying but Johnson got dominated by Cormier and is all power, the reason he got taken down and tired out in the clinch is because he throws wild. Also his point was best striker close to Floyd's size. No one below 170 dishes out the shots Mcgregor does and no one is as calculated as him. Eddie Alvarez's prime stand-up game is boxing and he got man-handled. Mcgregor has had more success in his sport than anybody, and the "hype-train" isn't just a trend anymore. He improves every single fight and the loss to Diaz was much needed for him to reach his next level. Also, no one goes undefeated in the UFC if they are as active as Mcgregor and don't pick their matches at the right time like Floyd. Floyd lies about what hes gonna do in the ring, while Mcgregor goes out and does what he says he will word for word. At the end of the day, Floyd will probably give Mcgregor a boxing lesson, but he is Mayweather's biggest threat in the sense that there is a chance of losing in every fight, and in the first three rounds Floyd would have to be perfect to avoid accurate and powerful Mcgregor strikes that he wouldn't miss if their was an opportunity. It's a big if, and we can go on about possibilities forever, but they have to get in the ring for us to see. And who wouldn't want to see it? Floyd is smart, and he knows that if the unthinkable happens against a non-boxer his legacy will be erased. Only way to shut up these "ridiculous Mcgregor fans/Floyd haters" is for the fight to happen, and I hope it does.
