- Neurographic Art is near and dear to my heart. It's a creative method that stimulates new neural pathways by combining art and psychology. It's a simple way to work with the subconscious mind through drawing. In short, it's Art Therapy, and a Meditation technique to relieve stress and anxiety. Relaxation through art.

These are fabulous Nicole!! Thank you for sharing why Hall and Oates mean so much to you. As teenager in the 80's, they were one of my all time favorites! I had several albums and cassettes for my walkman. I truly believe that God sends us people when we need them most. I've shared several times now about how accepted and blessed I've felt since I joined this amazing group of people and found you. I'm glad I could give you some love and goodness right back in the form of Hall and Oates. Those are awesome and wonderful memories of your family to hold onto. I know this weekend will be rough for you, your mom and sister but it will be a good escape you all could use right now. My mom used to say the ocean was a balm on your soul. I've always felt that way being a former beach kid. I grew up in Santa Cruz/Capitola CA and spent most of my childhood soaking up the goodness at our local beaches. I think it's cool that I now live so close to wear you grew up! My husband grew up closer to Grant Park and is a total Eastside guy. I spent my teen years on the Westside. Yeah, Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls" is one of our songs lol Thank you for being you, making me laugh and keeping me sane on "those days". Sending you extra hugs and loves, my friend! Someday, we really should meet up to play, yak and hang out if that would be okay with you. But, NO weird pressure!!!

These are unreal! Just fantastic!! I like the look of Neurographic Art; but can't wrap my head around it, to do it. Does that mean neurons in my brain are NOT firing?? I'm serious. I hope you have a beautiful time with your Mom at the beach. I hope it's a very special time together. Those sure were alot of " coincidences". I enjoy you so much.
I love your introduction of color lines in these neurographic ATCs! The combination of collage with a neurographic background really works. (And I have to admit I was skeptical about the idea of a neurographic/collage hybrid at first, but now I'm sold.) I really hope you and your mom enjoy your time at the beach. Sending

And you were talking about aunts …. My aunt died yesterday. She was an important part of my life since I was very little…. anyway, it’s interesting how “coincidences” happen like that….

I am still praying for all of you! I know this is so hard on the whole family. I wish I could wave a wand and make it all better! Be sure everyone is taking care of themselves. When you are dealing with grief you sometimes forget the day to day things you should be doing like taking meds or vitamins or getting some exercise. I hope you have a very peaceful, blessed time with your mom!
