I lost a hunting knife holstered like that when I was much younger and lots more active. It would probably work now that I'm old and slow. Nice vid and leather work Diresta.
I would use a strap for the lower part of the knife sheath instead of the rivet. I don't know how movement of the ankle will affect the joint in the long term. Otherwise very good looking. Always interesting to watch.
Last thing you need in Apocalyptic times is a pair of heavy boots with extra weights attached. But they are definitely good for pre-apocalypse training.
I have had bad experiences with brass/copper anywhere near shoes that might get wet. The brass/copper oxidized into nothing in less than 2 years. So for the next ones I would suggest stainless steel or fiberglass.
I would approach it a little bit differently. So, maybe, instead of a permanent bond, having a metal clip would be more beneficial and would also downsize points of contact between a holster and a boot to maximum of two.
Love your skills working with so many different mediums, although I would have been more impressed if you had attached the holsters directly , or direstaly to your calves 😁
Fantastic work! (as usual). But I would definitely need a tab / snap… or something similar as a keeper. I get into some pretty rugged situations with my work and would be heartbroken if I lost my favorite knife or multi-tool. Of course🤔🤔 this would be great for my daily-wear boots. Thanks for another great idea Jimmy
He has a house with a lawn / yard / farm : No big deal. He has a garage with a car / truck : No big deal. He has a workshop with machines : Nice. He has a drawer full of multi-tools : Instant jealousy!
Great film. Always tight and entertaining. Sheaths are awesome. Impressive how you can create on the fly, like jazz. Cool boots too, Carolina. Anyone know if the Weaver 303 have a built in thread cutter? Mahalo for sharing! : )
I was watching the luve steam and couldn't comment so here goes.. I think u should do a shipping container shop giveaway.. any theme ... maybe a calibration with friends? Well thats all.. P.s. short or long shop... my kids and I love what you do!
I wonder if you could loose the knife if you would be walking in the brush and or it being a trip hazard. Also since you keep the boots outside, would rust be an issue. By the way great work and a great tractor.
If I had that capability …. lol evereeeethang. Pruning shears AND multi tool. Dagger knife in the right boot. But you gotta cutesy it up (stamps) to match my ole fat baby cactus cowgirl boots. Eh they’re gone now nvm. 😂❤
Nice video and the results Look great, The multitool idea is great but in practice the big knife won’t work, you’ve restricted the movement of the booth, I think only attaching the top part of the knife would have allowed for much more movement of your booth.
I couldn't help but think about Jimmy walking around his shop just wearing socks while he made these. 😂
Same here.
😂😂
Father’s Day morning. Kids still asleep. Kickass new Diresta video. The best!
Very nice, added bonus: provides ankle support 😎

Nice vid and leather work Diresta.
Not sure how wise having either outside in the rain, but it's always a pleasure to watch the masters at work.
Or walking through wet grass that's more than ankle high. I'd also be concerned with the weight of the leatherman bumping/rubbing the ankle bone
Admiring the craftmanship. The practicality?

Now that is awesome!! I bet a lot of people would be interested in something like that. Especially hunters.
AWESOME!!! Boot holsters for everything, everywhere, anytime.... Thank you!
Thought this might have been the long anticipated ‘Which-blade 3’
The people demand it!
Last thing you need in Apocalyptic times is a pair of heavy boots with extra weights attached. But they are definitely good for pre-apocalypse training.
I now know the key to getting chickens to use a nesting box is leaving the label on it. 🙂
Sweet! Jimmys got his church-going boot!
Those chickens don't know who they're messing with!!!
Awesome leatherwork and the coolest set of boots in the wasteland!
Ok, this was really cool and all but the best part was using a hemostat to hold the rivet up! Simple and genius!
Always wanted to do that to a pair of my boots. Thank you for showing me how. You did an excellent job.
I have had bad experiences with brass/copper anywhere near shoes that might get wet. The brass/copper oxidized into nothing in less than 2 years. So for the next ones I would suggest stainless steel or fiberglass.
there is nothing about these i don’t absolutely love! also love the use of the hemostats
Cool! Self protection AND ankle guard at the same time
I would approach it a little bit differently. So, maybe, instead of a permanent bond, having a metal clip would be more beneficial and would also downsize points of contact between a holster and a boot to maximum of two.
Gonna need a pair of bell bottoms to go with those boots 👍 I’m thinking Diresta Work Wranglers 😁
Jimmy you a brave man one handing the camera and cutting with that bandsaw.
Love your skills working with so many different mediums, although I would have been more impressed if you had attached the holsters directly , or direstaly to your calves 😁
😆😆😙
Love the T-shirt Jimmy - Was great seeing you in Melbourne Australia.
The ducks were also amazed when they saw the work!😂😂😂
Fantastic work! (as usual).

What chisels are yo using they look handy? Keep the great content coming.
Just don't forget they are there when you fly next. Also nest box in the coop.
ideal at airports! just joshin, I love them....
I'm 44 and just learned how rivets are actually done, sure I understood the concept, but had never seen the actual application procedure.
Hi Jimmy Diresta beautifully done good job well done
I still dream on the day I can have a leatherman
Bravo! Great work with the leather! Interesting idea!!! Handy!!! Triumphant craftsman!
With just a leatherman and a fixed blade, you must be preparing for a 24 hour apocalypse.
love the fun builds. The patented waterproof "Scubaliner" might have suffered a bit!
Jimmy ! I like it! Great Fathers Day gift. Thanks.
well, this is ... a gift to the finder

They look great! I’d need to do some exercise to be able to reach those tools!
I like the use of forceps to hold the rivet. 👍👍
It must be grand to dream up with an idea and have all the tools to make it come true. You are surely Blessed Jimmy.
When your pockets are allways full, you can make additional ones in Jimmy's style.
First things first I love you, Jimmy. Second, what material did you use to etch on the laser so you could stamp the letter? Make On Brother
Corian !! ❤️
And Dave was worried about metal filings in your bed. He never thought about all of the pointy things in your pockets, and now boots. 🤣😂
Always something fun Jimmy. Thumbs up.
Excellent..love the vision
Awesome ideas, love the use of the laser to make the dies too. Cheers J
1st thought: Now I know where the knife drawer is.
2nd thought: There's probably a knife drawer in every building if not every room. 🤣🔪🗡️
You make it look so easy… beautiful craftsmanship… thank you for sharing.
Pretty slick...thanks Jimmy 👍😎👍
Great film. Always tight and entertaining. Sheaths are awesome. Impressive how you can create on the fly, like jazz. Cool boots too, Carolina. Anyone know if the Weaver 303 have a built in thread cutter? Mahalo for sharing! : )
Grande Jimmy... sempre uno dei migliori... saluti dall'Italia ciaoooo👍
What a great idea.
Saludes from Brazil...you are the greatest maker of the world👏
I like the Hand Shaved edge on the fixed blade.
Chickens fear him...
Geese avoid him. 😮
Maybe I can wear these while riding my Sportster? Not in the CA probably.
Very nice!
Slow day at the office for Jimmy.
Badass!!!! Love those!!
I was watching the luve steam and couldn't comment so here goes..

P.s. short or long shop... my kids and I love what you do!
Nice...loaded 👢 boots complete. 👍💯✌
CLASSIC DIRESTA 😉😆
Just remember not to wear them to the airport or courthouse 😂
A treat to look at !
When I grow up I wanna be just like Jimmy
Classic DIRESTA
Get some beeswax on those boots Jimmie!
I wonder if you could loose the knife if you would be walking in the brush and or it being a trip hazard. Also since you keep the boots outside, would rust be an issue. By the way great work and a great tractor.
Noticed the apocalyptic trend is starting to pick up finally.
Hey Jimmy, for stamping the logo in the leather, how long did you leave it clamped up in the vise?
Fabulous! So many techniques, ideas & doing to inspire & such fine clean lines & practicality of the result. Thank you for sharing!
Good insurance against the aggressive weirdo who rolled up on you thinking you were taking his picture
Really nice job 🤜🏻🤛🏻
very cool.. does it bug you though that the hole in the bottom would let water in?
Always great.
So awesome!
How about the flexibility of the boot, for the ankle movement? How do you feel walking?
Dab of silicone in the rivets....
That is pretty cool sir!
Jimmy, where on earth is the icepick holder?!
When you going to make a leather gun holster? Would love to see that.
I do somehow think a belt spring clip would have been a better choice instead of pokin holes in those good lookin boots . But to each his own 😮
the "airport oopsies"
If I had that capability …. lol evereeeethang. Pruning shears AND multi tool. Dagger knife in the right boot. But you gotta cutesy it up (stamps) to match my ole fat baby cactus cowgirl boots. Eh they’re gone now nvm. 😂❤
How does the rivet affect the waterproofness of the boot?
Those were nice boots
that looks likes some comfy socks
Nice work! ...
Cup holders next?
9:15 I’m not sure what that’s called, forceps? Clamping forceps? But that was a brilliant move to hold the rivets in place🙌🏻
Hemostats. Used in medical settings to control bleeding. Very useful as nimble clamps.
Nice video and the results Look great, The multitool idea is great but in practice the big knife won’t work, you’ve restricted the movement of the booth, I think only attaching the top part of the knife would have allowed for much more movement of your booth.
Do you think these would be TSA compliant if you put a combination lock on them? Asking for a friend!
Красавчик ❤ Работа великолепная 👍
very cool jimmy
Always got them thangs on u 😂
Very nice fantastic work 👍👍
Now doomsday can come!
Che stivaloni da sopravvivenza che ti sei fatto bene sei promosso sempre n👍👌🐝🛠️
As always awesome work
