You can clearly see United fans celebrating the third goal on the Kop. Some Darnall Blades were on. Me myself was on the cantilever and there was hundreds of us on. Even that clown Dougie Naylor admitted it.

All massive and from different eras. If you like football architecture, as I do mate, then you can’t not be impressed with Hillsborough. It wasn’t used as an FACup semi final venue for so many years because it was a shithole. I also love Villa Park. But I’d take Birmingham City all day over Plastic Villa. Any club who has drummers are wankers. I don’t know about Wednesday but they seem to be a drummer Club. Plastics love it. Same as goal music. And those massive Jonny foreigner flags. Fuck English culture eh. Let’s all pretend to be Jonnies! I’m a Luton fan. Drummers are banned. Guess what my profession is? A drummer! Mental or what. But drums are for live gigs not football matches. Don’t I go on!
Jamis Ins I love traditional stadiums as well! Anfield, Bramall Lane, Villa Park etc One thing i can’t stand is Bowls. Emirates Celtic Park The Liberty. Now don’t get me wrong, Hillsborough has character, history and what not. But if you think it’s a nicer stadium, ehhhh i dunno. I love Bramall Lane, traditional stadium with a proper Kop, just like Hillsborough. But Hillsborough looks like it’s in the middle of Chernobyl and hasn’t been used for years, the only thing that makes it look up to date is the Desso pitch.

The Emirates bowls. 12/14 of the Russian World Cup stadiums made by the same company that made Spurs new stadium, the Emirates, the Etihad, Wembley...all those horribly bland and characterless piles of tedium. Tears noting interesting about them unless they’re fucking massive is there. Reading, Liberty, Derby, Coventry, Doncaster, Swansea, Cardiff, MKMongs, Soton, plymuff, Leicester...man it’s dire. And the smaller clubs like Stevenage and Northampton and...I’ve had enough. I want my old stadiums back. Roker Park and Ayresome Park were gorgeous old stadiums. Now they have the Stadium of light and the riverside. Horrible places. No character. Sad.

Hahaha there were blades on the kop, sound n north stands.. I was there mate!!!!! I was on the south stand, soon as we scored lot went up!!!! Front of kop went up and a few spilled onto pitch. You must av had your head buried in your hands lol
Some selective memories on here about numbers, football supporters of every persuasion exaggerate I know, I was there that night, like I have been at every Sheffield derby since the 60s, league, cup, friendlies, testimonials, county cup matches the lot, all this about thousands here and there all over Hillsborough is mostly hot air and shite in all seriousness. There may have been pockets of fans in various places other than the Leppings Lane end but nothing to get giddy about, it happens at every 'derby' match, supporters could and would buy tickets for the home end back then at every ground in the country if they wanted or needed to, it only got noticed if you sang or celebrated when goals go and occasionally fights would break out, been there done that, so what. Back in the 70s you only needed to turn up in numbers and you could take the home end kop an hour before kick off, I have seen that happen at both Bramall Lane and Hillsborough .... aka the Shoreham and the East Bank ..... all history now !
