Man!!! This market is really nuts right now! Supply is low and demand is super high! Homes out here hardly even last of market more than 5 days before being bought up! We really were blessed to even get a spot in this market!

Getting my locs started in a week for the third time. Super excited. Cut them twice and regretted it both time’s although the second was due to a Portuguese Man-o-War (jellyfish) getting tangled up in my love and stinging me on my face. Just realized I’ve been getting my locs started and unkept at the same place you started in Seattle. I am Loc Shop. They are awesome. Love your vids man, keep it up. Super motivating.

I certainly believe that many things in life are divine alignment, we just fail to see most of those signs. Certain specific dates, repeating numerology (which is in the bible) and other phenomenon that we sometimes can’t comprehend or understand with the human mind, are signs of divine alignment. That’s why we NEED divine connection because without that, we don’t have a high enough spirit of discernment with just our own ego human mind, to notice signs and feel safe and protected in our journeys.

5 years with high top locs. They are now at my pectorals. The sudden growth is real..or at least it feels like it is.
It could be after having them so long - one stops caring about achieving length as soon as possible.
After a few years they get to that level of maturity and you kind of forget about them. Until one day you look at an old photo and say damn.

I just wanted to emphasise how much I agree with your point about not thinking about your locs as much. I'm just over a year into my journey and I realised that I think about them a lot less these days. Sure, I still look at them when I'm in front of a mirror, and go through my daily routine but it's a far cry from my mind set a year ago where I was obsessed with them and constantly worried that they weren't "growing properly". Now I'm just enjoying the journey and going with the flow🌊

My hair was already long when I started and I watched y’all content for 6 months before I actually said alright let’s start this journey the right way. This is my second set of locs ive had. The first time I started I had no idea what I was doing and cut them off. This second set I have I’m a year and 4 months deep in. Thank you for all the great advice and tips you’ve shared with us. I definitely see what you’re saying regarding loc content on here, but I’d subscribe to other channels you are interested in creating too. 💯 👍🏾

Hey bro, quick question! Does interlocking help men of, say mixed descent(white and black), with the locing process??
It definitely can as it’s typically going to give better hold. I’d recommend a pro if you go that route though. Interlocking can cause major problems if done incorrectly

@Tp locks Hey brotha. I suffer from really bad dandruff. If I start locks can I wash my hair every week and use medicated shampoo. If not what do u recommend to get rid of the flakes while having locks? Great stuff and keep up the good work
For me I have to focus on my diet, stress and sleep. I’m also constantly using tea tree oil and peppermint oil infused products to help combat it and keep a consistent ph. I also have to moisturize and massage my scalp daily to keep it at minimum.
For you I’d recommend a similar regiment. And focusing your massage on those problem areas for your dandruff. For me it’s my hairline and the sides of my hair.

Why do alot of people cut their locs when they become successful or just whenever they are in better positions in life?? I've never think about cutting my locs completely off. Now I dont want them down my back but I really enjoy that future trunks length from dbz and I can see it on me forever but then again I have a really small head lol
I think it’s normal to want a visual metamorphosis to reflect your growth in life. But it all depends on the person. I felt so weighed down by the stress of the homebuying process that when I was tempted to cut, I felt like I just needed a full reset! Hard to explain. But I got over it quick! I love my locs!
@@TPlocks yeah I get you it's kind of like when a snake sheds its skin. New growth causes a new look for a new beginning. I feel like we all go through this just in a different way. Some of us change looks. Some of us change locations.
