Does this kit work with Audi symphony instead of concert? It’s also a 2g high mmi
How do you adjust the screen brightness, I've tried using the brightness settings in the carplay settings and the MMI brightness only adjusts the brightness on the MMI interface not the carplay screen. I've even tried the physical dimmer for the das lights. The carplay screen is too bright for driving at night.
Settings can be found when you click the mmi icon from carplay, I can exactly remember, sold the car already

I didn't have reverse camera so didn't take this step, the harness has a plug for it I suppose, but never used it sorry
Hi, on the website it says that it´s not compatible with the non MMI models but it worked for you? I got an A5 B8 with the Radio Concert same System like you have.. did you make any other modifications to make it work? or was it just plug and play?
Better send a message to the seller with car model and unit model so they send you the correct one

Hello. I can't turn on my module. I tryed every button but doesn't work. In my kit there is no small connector to the green plate under radio. It is possible this is reason?
I have a few issues, one is the mic connection. I don’t know how to connect my factory mic to the harness. Second, my center controls won’t work on CarPlay. They work just fine for the normal interface, but I can’t control CarPlay with them

How to turn it on coz i cant after plug everything.
By holding the nav button on the steering wheel for few sec
But make sure you select media first and then launch it
In most cases it should turn on automatically when you start the car
I dont really know normal software is working so i connected everything good but still its not working On screen
I found that a long press of the SETUP button also works for me
Did you use the the can connector provided ?
No my kit didn’t require a connector to the can, only to the AC controller which I don’t know why!

Hi, i got a few questions.
1. When i try to toggle with the knob it also change my radio channels. How can i fix that?
2. I do not hear music or speaker voice through my Bluetooth, how do i fix that? Do i have to connect to Aux cable?
This is one of the downsides to this system, you must have Media selected all the time so music audio comes through and also any playing with the knob won't interfere with the car menus.
If you wanna listen to Radio, best leave the radio menu on display

Kindly help out, mate. I'm about to order this from Amazon, but was told that the only way to have media audio on the fone play on the radio is through the AUX input (which my vehicle doesn't have), NOT through USB (wired), Bluetooth or wifi (wireless). Is this true? If so, can I use an additional Bluetooth AMI adapter to route audio through?
Do you have mmi connector in the glove box?

@@Ndlelex There should be a connector with the kit to plug it into it, I don’t have MMI system, I have Audi Concert, I didn’t try this on MMI system, just make sure before ordering that you’ll get the appropriate one for your model as harness differ.
Thank you for the insight. I too have the Concert radio, it only has that AMI connector in the glove box and nothing else. I shall pass that info on. Thanx.
I installed this same system and it works but only with steering wheel function not on the main head unit. Also I can’t long press media or setup to switch between interfaces. Any ideas welcome…

the problem is solved.
the cable was not properly connected to the motherboard.
now also works with the buttons on the head unit.

didn't you connect it the other way around?
4 wires of different colors run into the connector.
the correct order when plugged in is from left to right: Red, yellow, white, black.
if it is plugged in the other way around, the sequence is also different and does not work.

My kit didn’t come with that green board how important is that?
If your Audi has Concert or Symphony radio, you will be needing that green board, but if your Audi has MMI, you shouldn't need it. Good luck!

Hi Daniel, yeah same issue experienced here, I had to connect the extra microphone that came with the kit later and it works. you'll need to unpair your phone with the car so you can take calls on the CarPlay itself.

No, you'll need to install the microphone that came with the kit
