      Yes. Now tell you people to stop acting like your culture is unique. This is a human culture. All respect to your people, but American ingenious people act like they won some genetic lottery...

      That's because they are your ancestors, that crossed from Siberia to North America during the ice age. And why all natives for the most part like myself, Eastern Band of Cherokee NC have a very small trace of sami Asian DNA, and why our rituals are so similar, and symbols, I have the Cherokee blood of my mom, and mostly germanic Europe and Irish, Baltic, Swedish, Norwegian father. The most dominant 3 is 45% north America north america indigenous, 35% Germanic Europe, 19% Irish. And small traces of Eastern Russia indigenous people, and Asian.

      If you search 'Viking stones of shame' in google, the site which comes up as nr 2 contains pictures of the Big Hammar stone. The stone shows a shamanic initiation which starts up to the right and goes downwards in a snake like pattern. The first section shows a root and a woman standing surrounded by two warriors, which I believe symbolizes the effects of the root. Section nr2 shows shamanic drumming. Do you know what kind of root/plants shamans use/used during initiations?

    Muito lindo !. Aqui no Brasil temos a religião Umbanda, que traz a cultura dos índios e Africanos.Utilizam a fumaça, o maracá, os cantos, o tambor xamanico, as rezas, as magias africanas em prol de ajudar as pessoas nescessitadas !. Mesmo estando em continentes separados, entendemos que a espiritualidade se manifesta em todo o lugar, independente de raça, cor ou religião. Gosto de conhecer a cultura do povo SAMI , isso me fascina !. Obrigado pelo video ! Thanks

    The session in the middle of the video had some interesting similarities with the practices of the eastern Shaktipaths.

    • @hermescarraro3393
      @hermescarraro3393 3 роки тому +1

      Probably because the Shakta tradition derived from older hindu traditions that preceeded those of the vedas, wich means they are of an even older pre-historic origin.
      They were eventually ""assimilated"" into the more mainstream forms of worship once the upanishads were written down.
      Most shakta practices originated in the south and from dravidian traditions, rather than indo-arian traditions.
      If I am not mistaken.

      @derrbarn14 7 років тому +4

      this might be a year late but i'm guessing that there is at the very least one really tradition and spiritual person on each reservation in north America. but the thing is that there are many different nations in north America with many different customs and practices. if you do happen to find out information on a spiritual person and want to use his or her services for something. be it smudging or some sort of prayer/blessing be it through dancing or singing, maybe even a sweat lodge or story telling. the one thing that is kind of universal among native americans/ first nations is that you should offer them a pouch of tobacco for their services. it is kind of like a currency which they can use on other spiritual practices.
      oh ya. one great way to find any would be to go to a pow wow. you can compare a pow wow to a type of religious meeting if you will. so you can be certain to find what you are looking for at any pow wow.
