I want to meet them
From the USA, I'd like to attend someday.
Thanks
Wait bro what??
As a Lenni Lenape (Indigenous American) I find the Sami so interesting and wonderful! The beadwork and pelts are so beautiful!
Yes. Now tell you people to stop acting like your culture is unique. This is a human culture. All respect to your people, but American ingenious people act like they won some genetic lottery...
That's because they are your ancestors, that crossed from Siberia to North America during the ice age. And why all natives for the most part like myself, Eastern Band of Cherokee NC have a very small trace of sami Asian DNA, and why our rituals are so similar, and symbols, I have the Cherokee blood of my mom, and mostly germanic Europe and Irish, Baltic, Swedish, Norwegian father. The most dominant 3 is 45% north America north america indigenous, 35% Germanic Europe, 19% Irish. And small traces of Eastern Russia indigenous people, and Asian.
This is really cool. I like how the drum looks like the sun.
🙏🏽❤️
I can't even make a sweat for my son who is sick ad needs one asap
This so awesome!
I love this! Who are the musicians?
I'm apache love my sammis
The session in the middle of the video had some interesting similarities with the practices of the eastern Shaktipaths.
Probably because the Shakta tradition derived from older hindu traditions that preceeded those of the vedas, wich means they are of an even older pre-historic origin. They were eventually ""assimilated"" into the more mainstream forms of worship once the upanishads were written down. Most shakta practices originated in the south and from dravidian traditions, rather than indo-arian traditions. If I am not mistaken.
Home at last!!!!!!!
Russian New Agers? What else?
These are people from the Sami culture. They aren’t new age. All of their practices are true and original to their heritage. They’ve lived in norther Scandinavia and northwest Russia for hundreds and hundreds of years. (Maybe even thousands)
The sámi have been around for thousands of years. This is ancient culture.
@@magnusbekkestad On the contrary. As Sweden, Norway and Finland forced their sámi population into Christianity, Russia have remained to keep the culture and traditions intact because there wasn't enough sámi people to make a bigger difference for the whole country. Hence they do get to learn their ancient history yet today. And luckily for us we get to participate in something that was lost in our culture.
@@magnusbekkestad Jodå. Det finns några kvar.
Obviously he's referring to these white folks trying to culturally appropriate.
💜✨
Ilgi mekleju video ka kraso dziju.paldies.
Does anyone know what the name of the first healing instrument the woman uses is?
As Estonian immediately recognized similarity for whats used as traditional children toy, made of pig (digits?)bone and called as "Vurr", for the sound it makes. facebook.com/teemekooslastega/videos/vastlavurr/1529319897078375/
Super channel, of course, super movies, gives suba, I also invite you to myself on yutuba. Regards
Thank you!
I have Sami ancestry from Sweden and Finland, and I'm most fascinated by their shamanic traditions. That said, I want to try psychoactive reindeer piss.
Just eat dried caps of Amanita Muscaria. Once cured they are relatively harmless.
@@Volt44forever I really don't want to risk it with Amanita Muscaria. I'll simmer it in wine or drink the reindeer piss.
We might be related then cause I just found out I come from a long line of Sami people. All sami from the 1600 to 1800
Qué raro un chileno haciendo el ridículo
My beautiful people. The colorful, mystical, beautiful people and traditions. My heart beats with the rythm of the drums.
If you search 'Viking stones of shame' in google, the site which comes up as nr 2 contains pictures of the Big Hammar stone. The stone shows a shamanic initiation which starts up to the right and goes downwards in a snake like pattern. The first section shows a root and a woman standing surrounded by two warriors, which I believe symbolizes the effects of the root. Section nr2 shows shamanic drumming. Do you know what kind of root/plants shamans use/used during initiations?
you all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Gregory Abraham Instablaster ;)
@Zev Karter i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Zev Karter it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D Thanks so much you really help me out!
1,2,3👍
Бабушка шарлатанка
a question; is this traditional, ancestral ceremony or derived from the natives of north america?
and if this is traditional european- do you think white buffalo calf woman was european?
The Lakota code of modesty is completely absent in this ceremony. I imagine their intentions are good, they just don't know what they're doing. They don't know how to build a fire, they used way more wood than was necessary. Nothing really traditional here, they are playing Indian.
They are Sami dumb ass. Not Lakota
thankyou!

Thank you for your kind response. Greetings from the Arctic. we are part Sami, as in the North we have at least 3 base cultures mixed together; Sami, Kven and Norse (scandinavian) What we do, and did here, is showing one of the oldest ways of communication. We sing/sound the room, the audience. It is never the same, even if we sing a "traditional" tune, it'll change depending on who's cocreating in the audience and the surroundings. <3
I take a delight in such music, really 100%-s. these voices are appealing, richly coloured, deep, etc.
