This is the most simple way to refill these cartridges. Not really fancy, but keeps the process easy.
I have the Officejet Pro 6830, will the refill inks work correctly with that? Also, what's the weight of a full cartridge for my product? Good video!

The cartridge´s full weights You can find in the video description. Check on Your cartridge wether they are standard yield or XL yield. The method demonstrated in this video works for Your printer. Basically You can refill any time You want . the only thing that You have to make sure is that Your cartridges are not completely empty.
I re-filled all of my colour cartridges as they were almost empty, but
the printer still says my ink is still almost empty, I tried printing 2 test
pages with full colour blocks but it doesn't work. They have almost no
colour on them. I got a link to HP on the first try asking me to order
cartridges. I remember with my older HP printer which had HP56-57
cartridges that to refill them you had to cover a part of the chip to
fool the printer. On your tutorial you don't mention anything like
this. What is happening? thanks
Hello Dave, thanks for Your question. With these cartridges the ink level will go down to empty and stay there even after refilling the cartridges with ink. So basically You keep on printing with ink physically beeing inside the cartridge but the electronics say something different.
What kind of ink did You use to refill Your cartridges? It has to be an ink that is specifically designed for HP 934, HP 935 cartridges.

(1) The refill ink is made by Octopus Fluids in Germany
(2) According to our experience the shown method also works for original HP 364 cartridges too. Most of the alternative compatible cartridges have chips which do not support the functionality to keep on printing with an used chip.

Will I have problems if right now I want to do this and the software indicate that 1 cartridge is low of ink?
You can refill ink to the cartridge at any time You want. It does not matter if the ink level status of a certain cartridge is indicating a low ink level. Please be aware of that after refilling ink the indicated ink level will NOT go back to full. It will continously drop down to empty. After that You can keep printing with that cartridge, just make sure there is sufficient ink inside.
Ok, I understood, the software is gonna indicate me that the ink status is almost empty but I could print although the software say me that right?
Yes, right. But after certain time You will also receive the message that the cartridge is empty / the ink is used up. But You still can print - You just have to make sure that there is ink in the cartridge physically.

Thanks for the video. Your cartridge weight was also helpful. my only question is: Is the ink used for the HP 920s the same ink used for the HP 935s?
+Jeffery Thornhill Thank You very much for your question - sorry for our slow response! Unfortunately HP920 (cyan, magenta, yellow) and HP935 (cyan, magenta, yellow) are different inks as the HP935 ink are pigemnted and the HP920 color inks are dye based inks.

Hello, thanks for Your question. Giving some time to the cartridge after refilling it can be no failure. Make sure to close the ink port and rest it the ink port ponting downwards and the upper side facing upwards.
But when refilling it by dripping ink on the sponge in the ink port resting is not compulsory. The dripping ensures that there is no trapped air left in the sponge material near the ink port.

Do you know if hp 6230 is able to print in black & white if some of the color cartridges are empty?
+Ilux Merks You should have always some ink in the cartridges. The HP printers using HP 934 / HP 935 cartridges have thermal printheads. They need the inks for cooling. If You print without ink the expensive print head will burn out.

Can i Refill hp 6960`s 903 ink cartridges same way which you used and after this is there any Depletion message shown on our printer or not?
Thank You for this valuable question. From the cartridge´s type we derive that the original HP 903 can be refilled the same way as the HP 934 / 935. We have not tested it yet as the suitable ink are under development.

Will this work for an hp cartridge I have recently bought? Or will the newer chips cause problems?
Also do you how to fix print quality? I have he same printer and my magenta looks awful. I have cleaned my printer head twice and still has lighter lines within the pink and the color looks so faded.

+ankur anand Thank You very much for Your feedback. Are You using an ink developed especially for these cartridges? The situation reads to us that the sponge cannot release the ink properly. There might be the right amount of ink beeing inside the sponge but it cannot flow out.
The sponge material of the original cartridges is very dense - the physical characteristics of the inks have to match this condition. We recommend to try another type of ink with a new cartridge.
Do you guys have an XL 934 or XL 935 method for refilling?
six3productions Thanks for the question. For the XLs of HP 934 and 935 we suggest a combination of dripping and using an already existing opening on the cartridge´s upper side. VIDEO UNDER PREPARATION at the moment :-)
The XLs have two chambers inside. The one above the ink port with sponge and in the rear section an extra ink tank. First drip ink on the sponge in the ink port until it is fully saturated, but this does not fill the extra tank. Seal the ink port when sponge is full and turn cartridge. Remove the label on the upper side and You will see an air port with channel structure located above the sponge section. Above the extra ink tank the is an opening closed by a little ball. You can push that ball into the cartridge and fill that tank by using a syringe or pipette. Don´t forget to seal that opening at the end again. Either use a plug or hot glue for example.

why should reach same original weight for the cartridge
Thank You very much for Your question. Refilling the cartridge back to the original weight provides the advantages that You do not have to refill so often in comparison when refilling less than the original ink amount and saturating the sponge fully is preventing the sponge material from drying out. Furthermore taking the original weight as orientation prevents You from overfilling the cartridge. Filling too much ink will result in ink dripping out of the cartridge as the sponge can not hold that excess ink properly.

An empty, original HP chip will give the message that You are using a used cartridge. But You are still able to start print jobs.

The original HP chip will show the cartridge empty after the first printing cycle. Filling up the cartridge will not make the ink level going back to full.

OctopusConcept nein, erst wenn ich die Patrone beginne nachzufüllen. Also liegt die Patrone selbstverständlich mit dem Druckkopf nach oben und Lüftungsschlitz unten. Leider läuft dann nach etwas Befüllmenge die Tinte unten aus dem Lüftungsschlitz. Wie kann ich das verhindern?
Can I use this ink to refill other brands of cartridge; Canon, Lexmark, Epson etc?
Hello Joe, thx for the question. The refill ink used in this video is specific for HP 934 and HP 935 cartridges. These cartridges and the print head used in the printers require dedicated characteristics as surface tension and viscosity. These characteristics do not work for other other printers especially for other print head technologies: HP is using thermal print heads and Epson is working with piezo print heads.

+Mayank Goel It worked for our setup cartridges - but we do not promise that this can be applied for all available printer models and firmware versions. Our instructions are made for refilling cartridge versions that can be bought after using up the setups.

CVDHolland Thank You very much for Your question As long as the original chip is not damaged You can keep on printing with a refilled HP 935, HP 935, but there is no information about the ink level in the cartridges available anymore. You need to check Your prints visually for missing colors - if a color is fading out - refill that specific cartridge immediately.

The only option to get a solution for the chip situation is to mount a new, alternative replacement chip on the cartridge. With the new chip You have all ink level related messages and warnings available.
Beside that You have to consider that the alternative chips usally do not support continued printing once they have the status empty. Original chips support that feature.

We assume that Your refer to autoreset chips (ink level information / status can be set back to FULL) when saying unlimited chips: unfortnately there is no such product available. Most sources that state they are selling autoreset chips actually sell one time chips with support for continues printing while having the status EMPTY.
Yea I dont care about the status EMPTY as long as it keeps printing. So do you guys have those kind of chips
We have alternative one time chips and sorry: they do not support continued printing with the empty status.
Do you have orginal HP 934 / 935 cartridges? You can keep printing with them and their empty chips.
