Kudos! Congratulations for the video, it helped me get my printer fixed. I bought this printer, brand new, from an authorized HP dealer. I had to move homes, so the printer went to storage for about a year. Couple of weeks ago I tried to turn it back on, and for my surprise it didn’t recognized the print head anymore. Local HP assistance said that the model was “vintage”, couldn’t be repaired. Bought another print head from eBay, and followed your video. Worked like a charm. Thank you!

they want to sell more stuff, the cartridge can be cleaned... but takes some time. Check hp cartridge cleaning videos. Hope you didn't throw that thing away

thanks for helping, that solved my issue with the printer. I used isopropilic alcohol diluted with distilled water. Also pumped this fluid with a baby syringe to the cardridge upper part of the nozzles.
