I work at Natural Grocers where the vegan options are amazing . I picked up a couple packs of the Yves pepperoni for a pizza I’m making tonight. I like Just Egg but ordered some black salt online for tofu scramble to see which I like better. Oh! I’ve started putting a tablespoon of lemon juice into oat milk for a buttermilk then adding vegan mayo, salt, pepper, Italian herbs for a delicious salad dressing.
I love watching grocery hauls ! 🙌🏼 I also dont really care for just egg on it's own. I love it for chilaquiles, fried rice, ramen stir fry, and pasta carbonara. It's an amazing product 😊
Great haul! I’m glad to see your channel grow and grow! Also, for a cheap and lazy meal, I like to cook spaghetti and mix in cooked or steamed broccoli, watered down hummus (not to runny, just saucy), and nooch. Yum 😋
It would be so nice if you guys included prices. I know prices vary, but I've had many non-vegans comment that they think veganpsm is too expensive, but if you show the prices and everything you can do with what you get, I think it'd help. Love your videos!
EVERYONE in my house eats a different diet due to food allergies/sensitivities, sensory processing issues and medical concerns. Shopping is a HUGE challenge, but I've turned it into a game of sorts... especially during this pandemic!
You guys always give me such great ideas to switch up my over-used vegan food choices. Even getting my non-vegan family to like them :) Thanks guys! I really look up to you :)
This is very similar to my weekly grocery trip! Tofu, beans, zucchini, celery, broccoli, bell pepper, whatever fruits/berries are in season, hummus, chocolate hummus, potatoes, almond or oat milk & yogurt, bread, a faux cheese, and that's about it! Occasionally faux meat (like the TJ tikka masala you guys tried recently, so good) or vegan ice cream :) with pantry items like noodles, rice, hemp seeds, protein powder, mixed nuts. Now that I see how similarly we shop I need to start actually making your recipes! Lol. Thanks for sharing!
idk how things are bc of the pandemic but if you could do a farmers market haul that would be neat! i know you grow lots of veggies but farmers markets have so much more than veggies! soaps, flowers, seasonings, hot foods, etc
that rustic italian loaf from whole foods is the only bread I will eat in the PNW coming from NYC lol every sunday- san marzano meat sauce with impossible meat and beyond hot italian sausage over pasta with the rustic italian loaf! 😍
Saw the comment about the silk yogurt: if you get the plain, unsweetened made specifically with almond milk it tastes mounds better!! I can hardly ever find it not in the vanilla flavor but when I do I buy it.
Oh man, that stuff is a staple in our house. It is so awesome when you make a box of banza pasta and toss it on that. We will add frozen peas and sprinkle nutritional yeast on top to make the easiest pesto pasta ever. It’s a huge hit with my toddlers and, well, everyone 😆
So good produce is available where I live as pretty much none of the vegan specialty products you've bought can be found in Poland XD I feel like the North America is honestly pioneering in the plant-based alternatives and I hope that my country will follow as soon as possible. I feel like it would be SO MUCH easier to persuade may fam that they would not miss anything on a more plan-focused diet having all of these products available. Having said that, I love this type of videos anyways. You always make them super interesting and fun :D Also, I cannot wait to see how differently you eat! A great video (or maybe a series?) concept which will probably make it easier and more enjoyable for both of you! . Anyways, sending you both all the love! Stay safe and enjoy the summer!
have you tried growing your own garlic it is pretty easy in the fall pull a garlic head a part and plant the cloves three inches a part water and feed them and mulch and next summer you will have garlic
Hey guys - get some black salt for your Just Egg - sprinkle some on after they're just about done - I can't tell it from real scrabbled eggs! Black salt even smells like egg.
Hi - @@MuNeQuiTaBrAviTa ... when someone shared this with my wife and I - they said there is one particular black salt to buy ... that it was rated above the others ... here is the Amazon link where we purchased it www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0057IWQV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... it really does make a HUGE difference!! ... the directions my wife has says to "sprinkle the black salt over the cooked scrabble when you remove it from the heat. Let us know what you think. ENJOY!!
I noticed that the The Just Egg wasn't as expensive at Fred Meyer recently, but we still feel like we get better use out of it by adding it into our recipes rather than having the whole container for a scramble. We've added it to fried rice, a little in extra firm tofu to make a softer scramble, breakfast sandwiches, etc!
I love your videos! I’m really lucky because H-Mart is only a 5 minute walk from my apartment. I was actually there yesterday to get a few ingredients so I can make your lumpia today! Lately I’ve been purchasing my Chao cheese at Costco because you can get a 3 pack for $10 over there! The other day I made a breakfast sandwich with the spicy beyond breakfast sausage, chao cheese, and the folded just egg inside a toasted English muffin... So Good! 🤤 I’m curious to see what kind of breakfast sandwich Chris will make!
I LOVE grocery hauls, probably because I am from Canada and I love to see what is available in the States! Speaking of... Yves is Canadian and is pronounced like eaves...
Wow, the hummus you've bought has such clean ingredients! I have to make my own if I want it to be without oil ;P However, I am lucky to be able to buy some delicious ones in glass, so I am not complaining that much :D
I do. I plan what recipes I will make and then write down a shopping list on paper of required items and then type them into the shopping list app on my phone. I may have 2 shopping lists one for items I will buy when I physically go to a store and one for ordering items online(I take the advantage of the products being delivered when ordering online and focus on items that are heavy and that I can buy in bulk).
I went to two different stores that usually have the vegan pepperoni a few days ago with no luck. I didn't even see an empty spot for it. I was so sad.
I've been thinking about going plant base and been following EatMoveRest and they have some recipe's that look really good on their channel. My daughter has been Vegan for a long time seems she lives on pasta, LOL or makes meals with black beans.
I wish we had such massive non-dairy milk cartons where I live...obviously, I'd rather have it in glass but now, I managed to persuade my fam to switch from cows milk (at least sth) so 1l goes down pretty fast, and this is the only size we can get here :D I guess in the US and Canada everything is bigger, and I will have to live with it ;P
Wish we had more vegan stores. We have a whole foods and there is a small vegan shop I don't know wht it should be called but it was the original vegan shop before ppl went whole food plant based or vegan. It's like an eclectic shop. A big expensive. Kroger is getting better stocking inexpensive items. Wish we had a trader joes. Something like tht.

Food hauls are the chillest & best videos to wind down w at night - love your content (currently cycling through your fast food playlist).
I love watching grocery hauls ! 🙌🏼

y'alls videos make so happy and proud to be a vegan! 🥺
I get so excited when you guys upload! Definitely gave me some great ideas for what to buy at the store next :)
I love the idea of you guys eating like eachother, maybe Jasmine could have slightly smaller portions of Chris’ meals?
love grocery hauls and the sandwich counter!
These are all great ideas, thank you! 😁🌱
The sandwich counter was cracking me up but I don't think i'd have even noticed you kept saying it.
Great haul! I’m glad to see your channel grow and grow!

Chris: sandwiches every meal. I'm here for it 😄 edit: still watching but I see sandwiches in the comments. Excite!
Love a grocery haul and what you are making with the food.
I love the grocery hauls!!
EVERYONE in my house eats a different diet due to food allergies/sensitivities, sensory processing issues and medical concerns. Shopping is a HUGE challenge, but I've turned it into a game of sorts... especially during this pandemic!
Because sandwiches are life! 🥪
You guys always give me such great ideas to switch up my over-used vegan food choices. Even getting my non-vegan family to like them :) Thanks guys! I really look up to you :)

Thanks for the constant plant based inspo 🌱 !! I need to go grocery shopping too 😅
You should have included "panini" in the sandwich counter 😂
SuperJezzara that’s what I was thinking too

Yum! All the recipes coming up, can't wait.
Finally got around to listening to Chris's band...I am so impressed! Your music is right up my ally! Love it!
what is your guyss favorite vegan cream cheese!? every one that i’ve tried i haven’t liked at all ☹️
idk how things are bc of the pandemic but if you could do a farmers market haul that would be neat! i know you grow lots of veggies but farmers markets have so much more than veggies! soaps, flowers, seasonings, hot foods, etc
Love the fresh fruits and veggies!!
I like white peaches also, because they are sweeter!!! TFS!!!
I use pita bread for my "pizza dough" and it's so tasty!
Love these videos! Keep going
Yves meats are soooooo good 😍 if you can find their pepperoni it’s great! Their ham is also super tasty for sandwiches.
Excited for your Filipino vegan recipes! 🥰 Thanks for representing our culture.
Really need to give Just Egg a try one of these days!

I highly recommend the vegan kale cashew pesto from Trader Joe's! It would be great on a panini.

Field Roast vegan corn dogs have became a staple in my diet. My guilty pleasure 😋
yess love the grocery hauls
I like Chris’s idea about you guys switching diets for a day for a video,
Do you store your garlic and onions on the fridge or on your counter
trader joe's makes a green vegan pesto from kale I believe. very good!
So happy youtube recommended your channel, I love the whole vibe of your channel! 😍
New subscriber here! Can't wait for your next video 🔔❤️

Hey guys - get some black salt for your Just Egg - sprinkle some on after they're just about done - I can't tell it from real scrabbled eggs! Black salt even smells like egg.
Can that salt be found at majority of grocery stores? Trader Joe’s? I’m not to fond of the just egg either but maybe I’ll try again.

Chris was so excited about the carrots
Costco sells a 3-pack of the original Chao for $9 now.

The thing with the pasta jar happened to me once, but with a salsa jar.
I am so happy about the Impossible Burger being in stores! (Fred Myer's is King Soopers here)
I love your videos! I’m really lucky because H-Mart is only a 5 minute walk from my apartment. I was actually there yesterday to get a few ingredients so I can make your lumpia today!

What was your Aunt’s machaca made out of? I haven’t had it in years, I didn’t know a vegan version was possible lol
I LOVE grocery hauls, probably because I am from Canada and I love to see what is available in the States! Speaking of... Yves is Canadian and is pronounced like eaves...
def gonna try making more vegan style dinners
Wow, the hummus you've bought has such clean ingredients! I have to make my own if I want it to be without oil ;P However, I am lucky to be able to buy some delicious ones in glass, so I am not complaining that much :D
In Chicago it’s called food4less
I love to use bread for pizza especially when I’m at college because I don’t have time for regular pizza dough
Lookin' good!
Yes, that banana leafs are for the "tamales" around here, and you should set the sandwich counter in Italian too ; )
do you meal plan to know what to pick up from the grocery stores?
Oh, you guys have you tried Ralph's Simple Truth plant based burgers? They're in the frozen section, they are as good as Gardein and about $1.50 less
Love your videos
My Safeway has started carrying the Impossible meat. I'm excited to try it once I finish up the Beyond Meat burgers I have.
I went to two different stores that usually have the vegan pepperoni a few days ago with no luck. I didn't even see an empty spot for it. I was so sad.
Made Chow Mein with tofu, carrot, cabbage, onion, garlic.
Shoprite has a good vegan pesto if anyone is wondering
My dog loves zucchini too!
I got an ad for The Vegetarian Butcher on this video 😃
Make oat milk in vitamix
Reasons I gave a thumbs up: 3:17 unedited yawn (who yawns for real in a video🤣🤣) 10:15 "some booties!' [with the bass properly inserted] ?!??!!🤣🤣
I really want to see you two switch styles of eating for a day!
Im defiantly not a huge celery fan either! Unless it has PB in it haha, love your videos!!
little late but i still made it!❤️
Jasmines mic was very echo-ey. I don’t think that’s a word haha. I’m looking forward to the videos. I love both of your styles of eating.
😋
Just egg on sandwiches is the best!
Why can I tell y’all were fighting before you filmed this 😂 you both are such lovely people, give hugs and eat all that yummy food
Do you really only get one milk and one yogurt? Me and my BF use like 3 of each a week

I've been thinking about going plant base and been following EatMoveRest and they have some recipe's that look really good on their channel. My daughter has been Vegan for a long time seems she lives on pasta, LOL or makes meals with black beans.

The whole pesto thing😂😂😂
Chris's what I eat in a day:
Sandwich
