Ok, so I knew Artio was gonna be on this list my guy, and here’s the thing Inter, as an Artio player, I need you to think of her as kind of like King Arthur for you: I’m sure you get this a lot as a KA player that it’s just spam and spin to win, but if you’re gonna make the argument that he’s skilled, it’s the same thing for Artio cuz it’s not just vomiting her abilities. Yes I will admit her kit is easy to pick up, but to master and truly be good with her takes skill. Is her CC very good? Yes, but knowing when and how to use the right one takes a lot of skill too. Kind of like Arthur’s combo moves, to me they all look the same cuz I don’t play him but I’m sure as an Arthur player you know you have to pick the right one for the right situation. Also, her CC don’t last that long, excluding the cripple, don’t jump on my throat for that one y’all, I know that one is long. But her best one, the stun, is pretty short, and you have to be in the middle of the fray to apply it, not like Ymir who can do it from a fair distance. Even with the cripple, it’s insanely easy to walk out of, anyone with some high movement speed can. Yes she has good damage, if you’re building her aggressive, if you’re playing support it’s not that much damage, and also, I don’t see y’all complaining about guardians like Ymir. Also, I bring Arthur up a lot because to me they’re kind of kindred characters, for Artio is: how come a guardian can have so much damage and CC? For Arthur is: how come he gets to be so tanky, run you down and keep up with you even with an escape ability, and then take no damage but 100 to 0 you? Can you get fairly far by spamming abilities and vomiting her kit? Sure, but again... Arthur is the same. All the little intricacies his kit has, that as an Arthur player I’m sure you know, apply to Artio as well. Also, that will get you fairly far during very very very very early levels of play. Because at higher levels, if you spam everything then you’re left for the rest of the team fight without anything else and her cool downs keep getting nerfed
@@alitasmile4362 my friend. I picked artio once, then i gave the controller to my dog. I went to take a quick shower, and when I came back to the room, he won with top stats on everything. I know u may think I'm a jerk and I'm kidding. But believe me this is true. I was shocked...

Exactly, not to mention just from how long ago that footage was This would be like saying that Sol and Bellona are the most broken gods ever and using footage from their release
How would you rework Artio to be a less toxic design, you figure? Would it be as simple as removing the Cripple Aura on Entangling Vines? Make juggling her Cooldowns between each form more interactive? She doesn't have a proper "Guardian Ultimate" like Sylvanus or Cthulhu or whatnot, so being able to more frequently throw out the basic kit feels like it has to be her game plan by design unless that were to change (and how would it change, for a stance-switcher?)
Zeus. And, he is super braindead in Arena and Assault, but you have to watch your positioning and have an actual gameplan (panic ulting yourself and probably dying anyway) if you are caught out of position in Conquest.
The only reason Arthur isn't on the list is glad shield being nerfed, with it I would put Arthur well above artio in the spam abilities never die category. For added toxicity season 6 and 7 my buddy and I would run Arthur solo and arachne jungle just so that losing wasn't an option
Agreed. I was wondering why Arthur wasn't on the list because every Arthur player on the planet just dipshits as hard as they can at the enemy until someone dies.
@@billygoten He isn't on the list because its one of his favorite gods and he thinks having 8 damage abilities that you can face roll is not the same as Artio having 4 damage abilities you can face roll. Also you just replace Glad with Soul Eater and there is no difference, you lose like 30 physical prots but you get 10% pen and extra lifesteal.
i'm a proud spammer of artio abilities, i mean people dont seem to realize you need antiheal even against gods that are not specifically healer (and sometimes they dont buy it even against them) so i might aswell get advantage of it
While i agree that mechanically Bakasura is very simple, i would argue he requires a good amount of game knowledge to pilot optimally, not only with counter jungling but with when and how you go in since once you are in, you don't have any real way to stop them from killing you besides "just doing more damage". + he is one of the easiest gods to counterbuild against since all his damage comes from one source only. Knowing your surroundings and always having passive up while having 2 ready to emergency heal. You don't have aoe fear, aoe knockups and free damage from abilities. And the cc immunity from the ult only secures you 4 auto's with max attack speed.
as someone who mains poseidon I was lowkey thinking to myself that I would not even be mad if I saw him on this video lmao, still, this list is solid and great video as usual
As a Hades lover ... i agree. When i came from League and tried all kinds of Gods to get a feel for the game i came across Hades at some point. Let me read out of my memory what i was thinking. During the read of the Skills: Mmmmh ... ok ... oh .... wait .... does that work how i think it does? During my first match: Auto this minion ... auto his minion ... and auto this minion. Ok lets see ....... wait were did the enemy minions go? 0-0 Oh god ...... this is worse than i thought .... I LOVE IT!!!!! I played it a while with my best friend while he was playing Cabracane and we just pulled enemys towards us making them helpless against Gravity. IT was amazing
idk if you'll see this but as an arachne player i love using my 3 as an area denial tool, it makes it so i can invade much safer and so i can use my brain somewhat throughout the match.
Adc, Apollo, jing, Neith, idk I hate adc Warrior, definitely gilga, wokong, erlang, herc Assassin, ratatosskr, Pele, Merc, Arachne, Kali, nemisis Mages, He bo, Zeus(but he is the worst God at the game rn), Scylla, Anubis Guardians, Athena, Bacchus (he kinda sucks too), Chutulu,
I mained Xing Tian to rank 10 and I gotta say he's pretty easy. Good clear, good initiation, good escape, built in sustain, and two crowd controls, one to peel or to ensure the second hits.
Didnt think of him but you are right. He is actually my only Guardian on Diamond and that is because anytime I play him I do decent at least and recieve Kills that I didnt expect because his Peel does hit that hard lol
What about Zeus? He has 2 abilities that aim themselves, 1 ability that helps the other ones to aim themselves better, and a huge AoE, all of that with a shit-ton of damage.
The fact Zeus isn't on here...when he LITERALLY has his abilities hit other people for him all the time, then can click a 2nd button after the chain lightening to do half of everyone's health...at minimum...
Freya should be up there with Arachne since they basically play the same (hit 1 and 2, attack, use the 3 to slow or reposition, and hit 4 to get away if things get rough). The only real difference is the items since magical gods have less option for attack speed. I want both Arachne and Freya to get a rework because 2 stims in a base kit is too much. Also think Sun Wu Kong and Kumba are pretty low Sun Wu Kong is really safe and strong. Kumba is easy with the AOE CCs.
The true diff with Freya and Arachne is how their stims effect them and what the over time result is Arachne 1 and 2 is a stun and heal while attacking. Freya is damage and slow. With the added effect that using both at once takes away the slow on the two. Along with not having anything to save her outside of an ult that is still very hard to run with. You need to be hyper map aware when on Freya and know how to use your three. Arachne can use spiders to take damage and ult away if she gets ganked. Anubis as well is very hard to deal when you don't understand him. But 2 of his abilities functionally root him. Any God that has a simple silence or stun ruins his day. SWK and Khumba have basic kits but they have some important parts that need management. Not understanding the game makes them suck horribly, despite their safety. And both fall off hard late game if they don't have a massive lead. AA gods run this list late primarily because of this. Cool downs. Ability based characters needs to use things when they can/should. Missing something can ruin a setup or something else. With the exception of Jorm and KA, autos don't have a cool down. And the last two picks notably make use of Hastened Katana. Meaning they will stick like glue after one good basic.
Find it odd that a good majority of these low skills gods ended up becoming meta. Like artio solo, arachne jungle, and even bakasura jungle. guess it comes to show that complicated designs won't win you games all the time.
Ya I guess I figured this tier list was easiest gods to be successful with, and he might feel like these 10 are but to me it seems more like the 10 easiest kits to play with. Personally I feel that hebo gets punished way too easily if you miss a 3 or ult ability. I also felt like their was a few others that I find hard to win games with but maybe bc I’m an ability user and not auto attacker
Gods I missed: Artemis: Endgame is literally just holding down left click Bastet: Jump in, use your abilities and prey they die, than jump back Merlin: Just vomit abilities and get a free blink Ymir: Freeze and spikes are way too punishing for how easy it is to hit
I play Odin in arena. I always play seriously until like minute 6, then I start trolling cuz he's just so stupidly easy to play that I get bored. I don't know much about after the rework, but before the rework I would've said that Bastet should be on here, who's the only god who makes me feel the same way Odin does.
I cant believe both zeus and vulcan are not on this list . Zeus literally doesn't need to aim to actually kill your entire team in 1 shot and vulcan has an ability that has no counter play and you cant dodge .
I think Artio deserves better than that because this list was about how hard they are to master and what makes artio easy is you can pick her up and destroy but there is a lot of optimization that goes on when playing her at a higher level.
fair point on all of these but I'd say Chang'e is top 5 candidate, she can waltz out of any damage, her attacks are SUPER basic and easy to use and you can shop from anywhere on the map. Im not saying these 10 dont belong but shes easier than at least half of them
What's actually the difference between Artio and idk Arthur or Cthulhu (especially), all of then just spam their skills while being tanky and don't giving a single F, lmao Cthulhu's only game plan is to ult and vomit everything on top of the other team, he is insanelly tanky, CC imune, does a lot of damage and is virtually impossible to run from. Artio is a piece of cake compared to that. Also... Bakasura? Just because he can execute camps? Tiamat can do it too and she is not brain dead. If bakasura ults, you can easily aegis that, CC him, or literally anything lol. Also if he is afk farming your jungler can gank and win lanes by doing that
I’m not sure how much you play the game but artio is easily the most cancerous god, they run at your team and dumb all of their abilities and then run away at max hp and the cripple dosent let certain gods play the game, baka was a strange one but if he just farms and gets 1 item ahead he can pretty much spam gank a lane and win it
As support and mid main I agree with you . Cthulhu is really the most difficult support to play against , in his ultimate he is so tanky and with CC immunity he is impossible to be focused by your team.
Imo the top 5 most cancerous gods are 5. Artio 4. Chaac 3. Nox 2. Gilgamesh 1. Anubis Between getting their kit emptied on you, to their insane natural defense and sustain. There is little to nothing to counter them. it feels like antiheal is useless, pen does nothing, and the only chance at winning is either you happen to have a counter god or good teammates which let's be honest... is more rare than a dad staying with his family Edit: also good vid I agree with most of the choices and your jokes were hilarious 😂
Neither abilities hit so much harder. Her 1 hits for 60 more damage plus 10 more % of her power than Skadi. And it’s a root compared to a slow. And can be an AoE rather than a line shot. And can hit for double if it hits the person and then the weave. In theory she hits way harder but the people who play her usually suck at the game. All the good players are off playing more fun gods
I really hate chaacs axe. Impossible to kill 1v1 because he throws the axe and runs from it and you either stay near the axe and miss the kill or chase him and he teleports once you're far from it and you miss a kill
@@pedrovitor5324 you mean over priced? Naw he literally has only one build thats remotely effective and its a utility based one if not he's food for anyone who survives his initial burst

Hercules definitely should’ve been on this list. The amount of CC and damage he has for a warrior, as well as just natural prots, make him so easy to play and extremely broken
yes i would agree that nu wa is easy to play but because she is so low impact unless you are blasting the minion stun and timing out the passive root that i wouldnt call it easy mastery but the skill floor is probably lowest in game.
I don't think Artio should be here, I agree that her kit is easy but most of the time she will be support and as we know playing as support isn't that easy
Jing Wei does not belong on this list. She has been some of the lowest win rate for new players and just overall for years. Also being safe does not make a god easy and it is super easy to punish her and just run at her in lane. Also her 1 is one of the hardest skills to hit in all of Smite without set up.
I think izanami, hades should be higher on the list. Plus I think anubis and kukulkan should be on the list instead of skadi and bakasura. I do agree skadi is kinda of a bad character design, but I do think she does require some brain cells as well as nakamura, despite the aa-centered gameplay he has. You still have to play smart playing bakasura anyway. Anyway great vid!
i played tiamat, artio and king arthur and i can play those three the same way, so i disagree with artio in this video and neither tiamat or arthur being here

What about Wukong which is super damn tanky and also capable of a big chunk of damage (plus his escape that covers a significant distance). Nike also too safe in my opinion, Hercules, Vamana maybe most warriors are safe actually with some exceptions.
warriors are in a dummy good spot rn. just about any of them can just run at the enemy team and do well. Not sure how I feel it compares to just a few seasons ago when warriors basically got no love at all.

Hachiman can be punished with ease if you somewhat understand how he works while someone like Arachne will whip your nae nae even if you know what to do.

Thank you for the matching clips!! :) I stopped playing Smite for a while and recently got back to it, so sometimes it was a little difficult to follow what you were saying on the videos where the clips were irrelevant to the narration. Seeing the gods in action as you were talking about them helps tremendously, thank you ^_^
Exactly this… for newer players we need matching video!
Arachne takes skill to know when to attack, unless you want to be the n00b that only ever uses his ultimate to escape which won't win you any games.
Hmm.. im 9-0 I probably should attack.
That has nothing to do with Arachne that’s just a skill needed to play smite
wins silver matches, good enough for most people im afraid.
Ok, so I knew Artio was gonna be on this list my guy, and here’s the thing Inter, as an Artio player, I need you to think of her as kind of like King Arthur for you:
I’m sure you get this a lot as a KA player that it’s just spam and spin to win, but if you’re gonna make the argument that he’s skilled, it’s the same thing for Artio cuz it’s not just vomiting her abilities.
Not sure if you’ll ever see my comment but knowing you’re an Arthur player I always think of this comparison and wanted to share with you
I strongly disagree atleast with KA you have to aim, artios cripple stops certain characters from playing the game
Also wanted to say, not mad at all or pissed off, completely understand why ppl think of her like that, just wanted to offer this analysis
@@alitasmile4362 my friend. I picked artio once, then i gave the controller to my dog. I went to take a quick shower, and when I came back to the room, he won with top stats on everything. I know u may think I'm a jerk and I'm kidding. But believe me this is true. I was shocked...
@@youngbouyoub2696 I can concede to her cripple, but again, small circle, easy to get out of. What I see is a lot of people just keep spamming movement abilities when inside of it, a good counter play is to just walk out of it.
I dunno man you kinda focused too hard on laning phase for this vid. A character that's easy in lane doesn't mean that character is brain dead easy.
Agreed. Arachne
It's because all smite youtubers base all their decisions on conquest because that's basically what they play and watch 90% of the time
Is this a "gods i hate to play against" list?
This is honestly the first time I’ve watched one of his videos and just been like “this is a miss. Plain and simple”
"Artio is too strong" _shows clip of 2v1 with 40% cooldown vs an adc 3 levels below and a guardian 6 levels below, then another 2v1 with a solo 5 levels below and a guardian now SEVEN levels below_
While I admit Artio can be pretty braindead to play and has really low cooldowns, this is like claiming Lebron James is too good of a basketball player and showing him dunk on middle schoolers as evidence. Like... come on man.
I’m confused is the problem that the critique is wrong or that the gameplay accompanying the critique doesn’t match?
@@kinesissado9636 they are saying the gameplay used as an example for the critique is misrepresentative, regardless of the validity of the critique using heavily skewed data for an example is manipulative towards anyone who isn't familiar with the subject already. marketing 101.
Irregardless of footage shown he's right about artio she's the worst to lane against in solo because she just spams her kit on you until you back or die
@@zalenahquaddy4354 I agree that she is exceptionally irritating to fight and may deserve to be looked at if not for strength then for fun, however that does not excuse the manipulative example he utilized to express his point. Any god in the game could make a similarly impressive-appearing play under those conditions and thus it adds no value to his argument whilst also subtracting from his argument's credibility, even if its not subtracting from its validity.
Exactly, not to mention just from how long ago that footage was
This would be like saying that Sol and Bellona are the most broken gods ever and using footage from their release
Build antiheal against Artio. Nobody does it for some reason goddamn
Right, she literally has a self heal and a team heal
That and ancile. Most ppl don’t counterbuild her because she doesn’t register as enough of a threat for some reason
@@kinesissado9636 Its bc her damage is more progressive than burst. So people usually underestimate her damage, but Artio is bizarrely strong.
Just started, making some guesses beforehand on some that are gonna be here:
-Artio
-Anubis
-Arachne
-Jing Wei
-SWK
Anubis with literally no escape and 2 abilities that root you in place while chanelling make him extremely easy to kill he is glass cannon.
@@djordjedangubic7270 The video is on low-skill gods not easy-to-kill gods.
@@djordjedangubic7270 ye but the gameplay of anubis is press 2 ,ultimate ans you're dead
And
Anubis definitely deserved a spot on this list
How would you rework Artio to be a less toxic design, you figure? Would it be as simple as removing the Cripple Aura on Entangling Vines? Make juggling her Cooldowns between each form more interactive? She doesn't have a proper "Guardian Ultimate" like Sylvanus or Cthulhu or whatnot, so being able to more frequently throw out the basic kit feels like it has to be her game plan by design unless that were to change (and how would it change, for a stance-switcher?)
Kind of surprised Wukong wasn't on here, I am a Wukong main and I will be the first to say monkey boy doesn't die
I would say its hard to stay relevant late Game. Takes some Skill I would say
The fact zues isnt on this list is a crime
Zeus. And, he is super braindead in Arena and Assault, but you have to watch your positioning and have an actual gameplan (panic ulting yourself and probably dying anyway) if you are caught out of position in Conquest.
I feel your pain bro
Zeus and Kukulkan...like, have they never played a single game of arena in their life??? Easily the most braindead gods ever put in lol
Honestly I was kinda expecting Hades as a Hades main, but rather than Conquest, I was expecting him to be mentioned because of "Duel"
i'm a proud spammer of artio abilities, i mean people dont seem to realize you need antiheal even against gods that are not specifically healer (and sometimes they dont buy it even against them) so i might aswell get advantage of it
Always fun to play Artio in the solo lane and your opponent is not getting anti heal
And the cc immunity from the ult only secures you 4 auto's with max attack speed.
you should totally remake the "strongest pantheons" video from a year ago and see what it all looks like in the current meta
as someone who mains poseidon I was lowkey thinking to myself that I would not even be mad if I saw him on this video lmao, still, this list is solid and great video as usual
didnt expect he bo on here, his positioning imo makes him have a pretty high skill floor even if the ceiling aint to much higher.
and that's why he's here. his positioning is the only thing "hard" about him
As a Hades lover ...
"Detroit tap water". I remember that joke and it's still hilarious to me.
Jing wei is the definition of BORING
idk if you'll see this but as an arachne player i love using my 3 as an area denial tool, it makes it so i can invade much safer and so i can use my brain somewhat throughout the match.
Lovely video.. but can you do the top 3 gods for beginners or low enough players for each role. Would be very helpful to many persons
Adc, Apollo, jing, Neith, idk I hate adc
Warrior, definitely gilga, wokong, erlang, herc
Assassin, ratatosskr, Pele, Merc, Arachne, Kali, nemisis
Mages, He bo, Zeus(but he is the worst God at the game rn), Scylla, Anubis
Guardians, Athena, Bacchus (he kinda sucks too), Chutulu,
He already did afew weeks ago

Ive been playing him recently i would say he is really good at pealing
@@finnster321 I love nothing more than hookslamming several gankers and then nerfing their basics
I also can frag with any god when I’m 5 lvs up….
He did literally say it was braindead, his point of the video isn't who's the most overpowered
The fact Zeus isn't on here...when he LITERALLY has his abilities hit other people for him all the time, then can click a 2nd button after the chain lightening to do half of everyone's health...at minimum...
Appreciate the matching clips. Especially Artio and He Bo.
The true diff with Freya and Arachne is how their stims effect them and what the over time result is
Arachne 1 and 2 is a stun and heal while attacking.
@@jameseubanks3477 Thank you for going into detail. I was just generalizing for simplicity.
I for sure thought Poseidon would be on here somewhere lol
I’m surprised Hercules isn’t on here

Find it odd that a good majority of these low skills gods ended up becoming meta. Like artio solo, arachne jungle, and even bakasura jungle.

people play assassins in jungle now?
@@Avagantamos1 they do in pro play, but not the ones here mentioned
@@Detralon to be fair some of those do get the ban hammer on the picks for good reason.
Gods I missed:
Artemis: Endgame is literally just holding down left click
Bastet: Jump in, use your abilities and prey they die, than jump back
Merlin: Just vomit abilities and get a free blink
Ymir: Freeze and spikes are way too punishing for how easy it is to hit
Definitely should’ve had Bastet on this list.
Zeus definitely deserved #1 spot here
I think Artio deserves better than that because this list was about how hard they are to master and what makes artio easy is you can pick her up and destroy but there is a lot of optimization that goes on when playing her at a higher level.
fair point on all of these but I'd say Chang'e is top 5 candidate, she can waltz out of any damage, her attacks are SUPER basic and easy to use and you can shop from anywhere on the map. Im not saying these 10 dont belong but shes easier than at least half of them
You forgot my bestie Gilgamesh
Also if he is afk farming your jungler can gank and win lanes by doing that
I was about to give an argument but I am not one to say much.

5. Artio
4. Chaac
3. Nox
2. Gilgamesh
1. Anubis
Between getting their kit emptied on you, to their insane natural defense and sustain. There is little to nothing to counter them. it feels like antiheal is useless, pen does nothing, and the only chance at winning is either you happen to have a counter god or good teammates which let's be honest... is more rare than a dad staying with his family

Did I just watch this entire video and not see Hercules on it a single time because that’s a problem
Hercules definitely should’ve been on this list. The amount of CC and damage he has for a warrior, as well as just natural prots, make him so easy to play and extremely broken
Nu Wa should’ve definitely been on this list

Where's Anubis? Or Poseidon?
"Detroit tap water" ayyyy lmao
Jing Wei does not belong on this list. She has been some of the lowest win rate for new players and just overall for years. Also being safe does not make a god easy and it is super easy to punish her and just run at her in lane. Also her 1 is one of the hardest skills to hit in all of Smite without set up.
Her 1 isn't that hard to land, but it's difficult to get value out of her I can agree with that
tbh i think jorm should have been at least honorable mention on a list sure he kinda plays uniquely compared to other gods but he is still easy
I play thanatos hercules and cthulhu and I'm very surprised that none of them made this list.
