as a non OG inter watcher, my guess would have been nox because he always says how much he liked her before the rework, but then my _original_ guess would have been ama and bellona who are both on the list.
My favourite since release and had come to take their throne in my heart is Cthulhu, the true terror that he drives his enemies and the different playstyle of a Guardian showing off in solo really fun, not to mention, ulting and seeing all of the enemy team as little insects while u control the whole team fight to favor ur team is really badass If he ever is gonna get surpassed, I think the only ones who can do it are Yog-Sothot, Nyarlathotep, Azathot, or The King In Yellow, basically someone on the same pantheon.
I know I'm commenting this the day after but this video came out on my 21st birthday so cheers to that. 10. Danzabarou: Though I do find Chernobog and Heimdallr fun, neither really fit my playstyle nor my preference quite like Danza did when he first got released. I don't have much to say about him because he's a hunter but nothing is more humorous in Smite to me than flying in a rocket towards the enemy mid laner to one shot them and die afterwards. 9. Hel: After the Kuzenbo patch I still don't know how to feel about her little rework, she went from one of the most supportive utility mages in the game at the time to a burst mage that happened to have healing that also made her dramatically harder to play on my dad's poop computer (One of the reasons why I quit playing after Kuzenbo release). But her rework has grown on me slightly and while I do miss playing a hyper carry support in the solo lane, I don't think there's room for that in smite right now. 8. Ymir: My first god I played ever in Smite, first god I got a Quadra with (in arena building full tank), and my second highest worshipper god, I love this man as if he were my own father. To say that I have fun assisting my team through supportive means is not a understatement though feeling like you have an impact on fights through the utility in your kit also makes me happy. Bonus points for being Hi-Rez Kelly's favorite. 7. Jormungander: Apart from being one of my all time favorite requests to get into smite he was also released around the time I fully immersed myself in playing Smite again and his passive was something I low key wanted for a very long time. His rather primative kit aside he still has some good build paths if a bit awkward right now but he still has the potential to massively outplay the enemy if they aren't playing attention or if he gets a far enough lead he can push it pretty decently. 6. Fenrir: A lot of my favorite characters can either be played in multiple roles or have build versatility that makes them really engaging to play. I loved him back in BETA but everyone played Poseidon back then so I felt like I couldn't do anything as this character. But with the myriad of changes (such as his 2 not consuming his passive) made playing him so much more enjoyable. 5. Cthulhu: (The next three are interchangeable on any given day.) Cthulhu gives me my power fantasy of being Godzilla in the same battle ground as Thor and Hercules. On other notes I actually really like his little interactions in the 1 v 1 in solo where he tries to get his passive stacks but the enemy is either aware but sometimes some stack slink through. Few things feels worse than getting positively melted by a Hou Yi with two lifesteal items and 60% crit though from full HP. 4. King Arthur: Spinny spinny spins aside, he's just fun to play. While I think his absolute rule of the solo lane for two and a half seasons is getting a bit stale I actually have fun playing him in team fights. No other warrior gives me the same kind of adrenaline rush as being a 25% HP King Arthur diving the back line and barely getting away or scoring the opening kill on a key target only to fall but for the team to win. 3. Baron Samedi: One of the first gods I grew to love after taking a break from Smite (Kuzenbo Patch - Pele Release) and became an instant joy for me to play in Support, Solo, and other game modes. I was not around for his release and I think I missed playing him before a lot of his nerfs came through but he felt like what I wanted Hades Support to actually be. 2. Amaterasu: I think it's funny that our number 2's are the same. aside from Sol or Cthulhu she was my fastest Diamond ever just because of how much fun I had playing her and still do. Though ever since those nerfs last season and the Berserkers Shield buff not actually working as intended it can be pretty hard to justify playing her, especially since they nerfed her 2 as hard as they did. But I love my bae. 1. Hades: I always enjoyed Hades, especially back when he was classified as a Guardian and he was one of the best gods for classic joust (which was and still is a game mode I adore). Given how flawed his kit seems to people I feel like people underestimate what Hades can do to them and will end up getting out played. Until some of the more recent buffs which made him more cheesey less out play I always love going Hybrid Hades as people try to focus me down while my carries tear the enemy to shreds.
5 each from 5 to 1: mage: discordia, hera, kuk, janus, he bo support: sobek, slyvanus, cerberus, fafnir, athena assassin: awilix, loki, da ji, pele, susano hunter: rama, medusa, apollo, cherno, amc warrior: gilga, bellona, chaac cu chullain, king arthur top 5 in general: 5. pele 4. cu chulain 3. king arthur 2. susano 1. amc
Its so refreshing to hear someone talk about Arthur and not immediately jump to “hurr durr u just spam abilities!!!11!”. He’s got a lot of complexity to him such as knowing which abilities combo with what and when to use what abilities and you can really tell apart a aforementioned ability spamming Arthur versus one who actually bothered to learn him. In summary: CO-SIGNED because that was some real shit you said
no order aside from my number 1 Athena, most played god. Made me fall in love with support. Taunt and ult are crazy and even with an outdated dash, it still puts in work Bellona, the god that made me love solo. Her release was ofc disgustingly broken and the old deaths toll had me playing her probably once a day Isis, Eset whatever. Spamming ults, built in cdr, a crazy satisfying stun. Depth in using her silence. She has everything i want out of a god. Ratotoskr. I fell off of my rat love when they made his acorn just one item and ever since they took out the original 4 it never felt the same when i used him. Then they brought back different acorns and he easily became my most played assassin in the game for the last couple seasons. Solo rat is probably the most fun solo for me. Anhur and Hou Yo back in my console days I shuffled between these two when it came to carry and had that beautiful diamond border on both since I tried being a fully committed ADC main at one point. A super satisfying stun, crazy dps, both are very similar gods to me so i didn’t feel like i could split them Ullr is another one of those ADCs i love but didn’t really start enjoying until I moved to PC. Axes and switching stances is just so much smoother and I recently found a lot of success even tho he isn’t the best atm Fafnir. I played A TON of fafnir around season 5ish. I was a support main, flipping around but Fafnir and Athena were always the main two if i wanted to win. Dragon damage is awesome, my occasional spicy fafnir mid is so much fun. Stun, crazy dash, good damage, all of it. Love me some fafnir Ymir. So basic but so fun. Passive is awesome, jungle, mid, solo or support. I flex Ymir everywhere just bc he is so obnoxious and it’s too funny to just walk at someone and ruin their entire game. The wall makes for amazing plays, love Ymir, probably my favorite guardian to play as outside of Support. Favorite all time god is Merlin. Stance switch gods feel more immersive and the amount of time i’ve put into Merlin to learn when and where to switch stance, what stance to switch into, the trigger discipline i’ve developed to not just flicker away whenever it’s up. Everything about Merlin is just great to me. DPS is crazy, all the stances accomplish something totally different that feels like he is 3 separate gods in 1 which is not normal for stance gods imo. Always a good time Honorable Mentions to Ra (snipes for days), Vulcan (beef cake, obnoxious, hard snipes but fun), Sylvanus (great ult, pulls are fun, DOT damage on the heal is a good bonus), Erlang (jungle specifically), Amaterasu (so much depth, hard to be really good at, love the old guan ult being put on her kinda), Scylla (big damage), Mercury (speedy boy, big basics, love to CC people w 3 or ult) and Kuzenbo (i love being obnoxious)
Nemesis is one of my absolute favourites, Hachiman is very satisfying when you can use his dash aggressively and Hun Batz is again, just really satisfying to use.
Nem was my first level 10 mastery and I feel like she’s just so brain dead to play in the best way possible. Dash in smack em with the 2 run seats if you need to or kill if you can lol
As an Amaterasu main I appreciate the statement at how you have to micromanage everything to really make her work. A lot of people I know don't understand how she is good so it's nice to hear some praise for her.
Always found gods with some kind of supportive feature to be my most enjoyable. But not true supports. There is a difference between HAVING TO heal your team, because it is your role, and DECIDING to just heal your team out of combat. Guan Yu, Chang'e, Tiamat, Terra. Also i like that they can be built both dmg and tanky depending on situation. I simply cant feel satisfaction if i m stuck with just being meatshield with control or just a selfish glass cannon without any option to actually make my teammates life a little less miserable. (but i wont rely on them too much, i have met too many assholes to do that)
10.Jormangandr-he’s a big snek what more do you need 9. Amaterasu -The first god I played and newest god at the time when I first played smite so she holds a special place in my heart 8.Scylla- “I’m the wolf🐺 “ nuff said 7.Morrigan- hit and run play style that I fuckin love plus her voice lines are always the best 6.Jing Wei- “Oh hey fam” 🦅 5.Chang’e -Simple yet effective 4.Aphrodite- A true Queen 3.Medusa-My favorite lore goddess I used to always read Greek mythology books and loved her story 2. Pele- Im Hawaiian…what more do I say? 1. Serqet- build her tank. Burst, doesn’t matter she has all the sass in the world and nothing gives me more dopamine then laugh spamming while chasing someone who’s about to die from last breath 💃🏿
Amaterasu has been a favourite since she was released, design and kit wise. Personally Pele has shot up the ranks for me since the best avatar character don’t @ me is now a skin for her.
Current favorites: 1: Baron Samedi - Amazing design and personality, but is also very versatile and can fit a lot of roles (including my two favorites, Mid and Solo) 2: Sun Wukong - A really fun kit that’s easy to grasp as a beginner, but also has a lot of complexity as you learn more and more 3: King Arthur - The way his abilities combo with each other reminds me of a fighting game 4: Cthulhu - An amazing design and a really unique kit that rewards you using your abilities as well as your auto attacks correctly 5: Kuzenbo - Really fun kit that’s a blast to play in Solo 6: Camazotz - Crazy sustain that makes him incredibly fun to play, especially in Solo 7: Heimdallr - Really interesting design for a hunter and can really get a lot out of using his abilities correctly 8: Vulcan - Really fun kit that lends itself to some interesting strats, mostly with his turret 9: Odin - Bird bomb is one of the most satisfying things to land 10: Apollo - Being a music major, I’m gonna be biased toward the god of music Honorable mentions: Jormungandr, Cu Chulainn, Ravana, Agni, and Raijin
Ne zha, Erlang, Nike, Mercury, Nu wa, Thor, Discordia, Athena, Heim, He bo I remember when I first got in to smite in season 5 and I was watching spl cyno was killing it as ne zha and I was like :o I wanna do that and he's been my main ever since
My personal top 10 are Susano, Cabrakan, Pele, Ravana, Sobek, Kumbhakharna, KIng Arthur, Tyr, and Morrigan. I'm not a fan of AA based gods as I find them boring to play as and against, even the 3 Hunters I play are ability based only, and I love being in the enemy's face besides playing from range. AA Canceling is the most fun thing to me and Hydras/Poly are my favourite items and every god I enjoy has some form of that. I like other Assassins, Guardians and Warriors but lately these are the only gods I've been enjoying.
1. Odin - I like parts of the rework but the old combo was bonkers. Shield into the jump into the aoe spin deleted people. 2. Hachiman - probably the only hunter I feel comfortable playing and I don't know why 3. Cu Chulainn - I started playing him at the beginning of season 7 before he was played HEAVILY. 4. Wukong - my safe pick in ranked and if I want to try different builds that probably shouldn't work 5. Susano - combo and AA cancels are so satisfying Honorable mentions to: Kubro, cerberus, Terra, and Erlang. Bet you can't guess my two highest played roles.
1. The Morrigan, most fun ult in the game, sneaking around is fun, love the Assassin/Mage hybrid playstyle 2. Cthulu, a fun, high damaging guardian with an insane ult, but you can build him super defensevly as well 3. Jormungandr, I always end up winning with this guy, his sneaking is fun, managing pools is cool and his ult is awesome to use 4. Anubis, Some of the highest damage in the game, simple, but really fun 5. Ao Kuang, love the Assassin/Mage hybrid playstyle, and his execution is really usefull
I think the goddess that you got to diamond first was Awilx. Its interesting to see what other people's top ten favorite gods are because it shows you what kind of player you are. My top ten are Geb, Artio, Awilx, Ganesha, Horus, Guan Yu, Vulcan, Bellona, Chiron, and Xian Tian.
Video idea: a multi part series showing gods in their release order and a little description of how much fun they were to play as or against at release versus now.
Just started playing this game as my first moba and I’m absolutely loving Thor. You recommended him in one of your videos and I’m having a blast with thor
I usually play solo but besides that I don't have a secondary role, I just play any of the other 4 roles, anyways my top 10 favorite gods are: 1.- Amaterasu, I simply love her kit and her versatility, I play her in solo and jungle going from full tanky or bruiser to full AA dmg in the jg, her passive, 1 and ult are amazing late game. 2-. Artio, even tho she's a guardian I mostly play her in solo since the start of season 8 I've loved the versatility in builds you can go with Artio, from the starter upgrades 3 are amazing on her for different reasons, sundering axe makes her really tanky and the health steal is easy to proc with her druid's 3, bumba's hammer makes Artio spam more abilities than a 40%cdr king arthur, Gem of Focus makes her tankier with the dmg mitigation while making her go faster and do more dmg, everything you, as a bonus alternate timeline is also good on her (not on the level of the other 3 imo) 3-. King Arthur, hahahaha buttons go brr, in all honesty I love the combos you can do with him and being able to 1v3 is amazing xD 4.-Athena, again other guardian that I play more on another role in her case jungle and sometimes solo, her ult is amazing and the rest of her kit is really good against a lot of gods, plus she's been really strong this season. 5.-Bellona, the first time I saw her weapon swapping gimmick I knew I was going to play her a lot, just like ama I play her in solo and jg using a lot of different builds, what I don't really like is that her 2 and 3 weapons doesn't feel good in late game, you use 2 for dmg and 3 for disarm and that's it you need your 1 to properly box someone. 6.- Chang'e, before coming to smite I played games like Overwatch, Paladins and LoL, in all of them I played supports more times than not, and Chang'e was the first good to fit that healer/utility mage gameplay, even tho she's a mage I play her mostly in Solo lane but if I get mid she's always one of my better options. 7.- Sol, she was one of my first mastery X gods, I haven't used her in a while tho, just sometimes if my team needs magical dmg as an adc or sometimes in mid, I really like her 3 knowing when to use it so you can immune a big enemy ult is always really satisfactory. 8.- Nike, hahahaha big shield go brr, If I wanna feel immortal one match I pick Nike, she's really good against adcs and it's one of the better tower divers in the game, nothing beats diving a tower, ulting getting a kill and going away full hp. 9.- Yemoja, the guardian that I actually play in support, as I said before love utility mages and even tho she's a guardian she feels more like a tanky utility mage, also managing your omi and knowing when to spam you abilities is really important while playing her and I really like that. 10.- Loki, I used to hate this dude, but I''ve been playing him a lot since his rework both in solo and jg and know I really like him, he's a really versatile god, you can go full dmg/crit in jg and one shot any squishy or go bruiser/tanky and be so hard to kill, a bruiser loki with sundering axe is basically immortal he procs it really easily with his 2, so he's constantly healing and doing dmg. I just noticed that besides loki and KA I mostly play waifus hmmm. if you took the time to read all this let me tell you that VER ;)
My top 10: 1. Anubis 2-10. Pose, Kuku, Nu Wa, King Arthur, Apollo, Heim, Skadi, Baka, Chtulu. (They are not in order since that changes constantly). Honorable mentions: Fafnir, Iza, Ra, Medusa, Baba and Baron. Baka has been rising very fast in the last year or so. Pose also has a fun story, when I first started out and played Pose, I hated him and said I will never play him beyond mastery I (since I will master every god at least once for as long as I play Smite). But now Pose is my nr 2 most mastered god. NB! Even though I have a clear nr 1 favorite, that doesn't mean I am Anubis main. I have played slightly less than 11k matches in casual and 8,7% of those games are with Anubis.
When i saw my friend playing Smite for the first time in 2014... He was playing with Sun Wukong and that character make me love Smite .. then i use Ao Kuang for the lore with Swk.. then Sol for her thiccness and her Souless machine skin.. then Ullr for his skills and then Rama for the snipes and the last one Susano because my ex loved how i played with him... But today i just only play with Sun Wukong every single match in any lane possible.. i will always love him and make smite a fun game for me.. My first diamond with 23 stars
My favorite solo laner rn is nike because A) I live the hyper agro style and B) cause I wanna breath through the early game. My favorite mid is Ra, going full glass canon and seeing what happens is fun to me
1. Cthulu - My main. I'm really into Lovecraftian novella. Started playing after almost two years just for him. 2. Odin - I play him solo/support/jungle , a simple warrior with a low skill floor and a satisfying ceiling. 3. Set - I started playing smite again around the time Set and Cthulu released, Set was hard to learn but felt good to to get there. 4. Fafnir - I have a thing for form/stance swapping gods but Fafnir is honestly my favorite. I LOVE tanks and dragons are awesome. 5. Hera - Having a super minion on call and a polymorph up your sleeve made her seem really flashy for me. 6. Chernobog - Was the first hunter I ever played. I got DESTROYED on him. Then I learned to combo him, dodge into walls, etc. Plus, he looks cool 7. Fenrir - It was Fenrir's reveal trailer that first got me to play back in... 2015/2016 (I don't recall) but I really like that he's been relevant even after all this time. 8. Jormungandr - Just like with Cthulu, I love monstrous characters the most, and being so big that his passive is just an "F.U." to displacement seems pretty bad ass. 9. Osiris - I feel like he's an underrated and very fun god to play. Just swingin' for the fences until your team shows up! 10. Merlin - After a LOT of hard lessons, I've got the cycles of his abilities down (Also thanks to one of your vids) and I have a lot of fun. The Blink also helps. My honorable Mentions: Kukulkan - The first mage I really learned. I still play him to this day Erlang Shen - I love jungling with this guy, he nearly carried me to platinum a while back. King Arthur - The first warrior I really tried. Like I said, stance switching FTW. Artio - Beefy, aggressive, stance swapping, and can be a support. need I say more?
I don't really have a top 10, but I have a favourite in each class Warriors: Mulan (hi rez pls more Mulan buffs she's so bad) Assassins: Nemesis Mages: Janus Guardians: Sobek Hunters: Rama
1: Thanatos - damage on the 1 and 4 are just crazy in all stages of the game 2: Ullr - just an op hunter with really strong abilities 3: Rat - a strong versatile god in either jungle or solo (from what ive seen in game) 4: Scylla - just lane pressure and she does fuck tons of damage in all stages of the game and has a very strong kit 5: Bellona - overall one of the most balanced gods on the game imo, a true solo laner with good boxing and good early game sustain with her 3 and passive 6: Sol - extremely strong in mid-late game, high damage output and good early sustain 7: Amaterasu - pretty much same reasons as you tbh 8: Fafnir (damage) - not a whole lot to say about this one tbh, early bandcrofts and spear of deso and you do good damage with the added benefits of being a bit tanky by default 9: Freya - Op asf with high single target damage and good sustain 10: Susano - while i havent enjoyed susano a lot recently, hes a god ive had a lot of fun with in the past and still think he's an extremely fun god to play, especially when ur good with him And that's my top 10 favorite gods and why :D
As far as a top 10 idk if i could ever do a full top 10. I know my tops for each class. My #1 will always be Bastet, my main. Something about her playstyle just clicks with me and even when everyone was ranking her as F tier i was still popping 25-2 games on the regular in conq. Its a playstyle thing, if it clicks with you youre gunna have a good time, if it doesnt click just right youre gunna struggle, doesnt click at all enjoy the pain, it’ll be over soon enough.
Funnily enough, Warriors are some of my least favorite gods in Smite. But that's because I freeze easily and I'm often too much of a wuss defeatist for such a frontline bruiser. Also because playing the casual modes is more difficult with such characters. But that's also one of the reasons I appreciate watching your gameplay - it teaches me a fair bit! I dunno if I have a top 10, but I'll think of a top 5 off the top of my head! 1. Khepri - my go-to hugbug when everyone rushes damage and I'm like "oh well time to pick The Immovable". I don't get BM that often anymore now that people can see I'm a 1star mastery X, even if the games go terrible, funnily enough. I love him and his hugs. 2. Tiamat - I just loved her from the moment she was announced. She's like a constant journey of learning. But there's satisfaction in seeing the opportunity, then jumping in and comboing a low-level opponent to death. I would serve her if she let me. 3. Danzaburou - just a lot of fun. I enjoy peeling for others and then rocketing in the face of someone trying to sneak their way out of the fight. 4. Chang'e - the first god I played and that's because she has a bunny. Yup. Anyway, I like the way she flows and sounds. Always have. 5. Skadi - I am unsure of this spot, but currently... With Skadi (ahem, Korra), I tend to get the biggest comebacks ever in Arena. Recently, I got my first Penta with her too. I am not very good with her, I don't think, but when I get to the lategame, ooohhhhboiu I love how I can just go ham and slap around. TBF, the same happens with Xbalanque.
Tsukuyomi is really fun to play, I felt guilty playing him when he was super OP at launch, but his mechanics are just so much fun. He's my 2nd favorite though, I prefer Artemis. I like the big numbers she can bring on stunned players, thanks to Tusky!
I've been playing a loooot of Chu Chulainn recently, he's very cool and fun 😎 He's so fun in team fights, especially on the tail end or at the very beginning, just ulting straight into rage mode and messing up all the enemies.
10: Awilix (showed me the power of teamwork when I was learning the game)9: Serqet (putting the poison on and knowing there's nothing they can do so u just walk away is funny) 8:Hachiman (my favorite hunter to go mid with especially now with bluestone back) 7: Rama (I love snipes) 6: Ymir (og tank plus a fun jungler) 5: Tsukiyomi (dmg dmg dmg)4: Nox(if they rework her ill be sad) 3:Kukulkan (combine why I love serqet but with tornadoes and why I love Rama) 2: Poseidon (First God I ever got diamond and Ole reliable for mid) 1:Ra (I really really really love snipes) Honorable mentions Janus(while I love snipes I'm trash at every other aspect of the character) and Scylla (another long term reliable pick plus the star of my favorite world championship clip)
I don't know if I can give a tried and true top ten but I can share some gods I absolutely adore lately for each role. In Solo lane I have been loving Shiva's playstyle with his 1 2 combo, great cc, sustain/damage ult, and the fact that he can make a viable support as well, I recently made the tankiest build I have ever done on Support Shiva. I am a big fan of King Arthur and Bellona as well. In Jungle I have always loved Fenrir, and the fact that he is a viable solo as well is super fun, he was my first mastery god and my first main in the old days of Smite. I recently tried Hun Batz again and his burst damage, ult, and clear potential is one of the strongest I have seen in a long time. For mid I would have to say Ah Puch is a classic favorite of mine, not too good in the meta but still hilarious to nuke with to this day, I have also recently picked up Scylla and she is very strong. For support I would say Terra, Bacchus, and Ares are all classic tanks that I love the hell out of, specifically body blocking in Terra's 2 which is hilarious when you pull it off. For ADCs I would have to say Rama and Xbal for late game crit shred and Heim for a bit of a more methodical playstyle.
Idk about top 10, but for my top 5 definitely Fafnir, King Arthur, Poseidon, Cerberus, and Hades (in that order from 5 to 1). My highest worshipper God is Poseidon, but since the start of season 8 I've been playing him a lot less perhaps due to boredom of playing the same God over and over again. Suprisingly, Hades became my sort of new go to pick, and with the buff to his ult, I just enjoy him even more (I may or may not be prepared for the incoming hate for me being a Hades and Poseidon main) Edit: I've also recently been playing a ton of Horus and he's proving to be super fun. He's an honourable mention, but if I continue to play him he might just overthrow Fafnir as number 5
Watching this after watching your least fav gods video is interesting bc your favourite combines all of the problems you have with the gods you like the least. Not bashing your love of King Arthur, it’s just interesting
Erlang shen, artemis, chronos, nemesis, and ao kuang are my top five i havent been playing a lot of ao kuang lately, but thats mainly because ive been relegated to carry/solo with my friend group since nobody wants to carry
Just to jump in and provide my to 10 for ya lol 10: Sun Wukong 9. Nike 8. Ravana 7. Ullr 6. Chaac 5. Fafnir 4. Artio 3. Pele 2. Baron Samedi 1. Gilgamesh
For me at the moment it would be: Terra Amaterasu Morgana Susano Nu Wa Ra Bellona The Morrigan Artio Kali Always love me some Terra, especially with her new skin. Also honourable mention to Mulan, Nike, and Heimdallr.
Baron Samedi is my absolute favorite god. Can’t even say how many games I’ve won playing support Baron. 2nd is Nike (I’ve been playing her since before her rework lol), 3rd Erlang Shen, and 4th Ganesha.
I always felt bad having Arthur as my favorite warrior to play since he's a meme machine in the lower ranks but you just made me feel a lot better about it
My favorite God is probably the Morrigan. Her ult for me always makes her feel fresh, and makes her skill ceiling quite high. Also her invis is fun to use to get away with lol.
im just saying hirez really needs to balance gods before release. the only god recently that didnt ship busted af i would say is babayaga thats about it from memory. and i took a break after the tanuki but so far that thing is annoying to fight so. im assuming he was also face roll easy.
My top 10 in order are: Pele, Sol, Izanami, Artio, Camazotz, Bellona, Khepri, Tsukuyomi, Guan Yu and Nemesis. I used to really love Bastet, Cerberus and Cupid but I have fell out of love with them, especially Bastet after her rework. I really like up in your face characters and characters I can just have fun with.
My top 5 gods are baba, Morgan, morrigan, Persephone, and Tiamat (you can guess which role i main the most lol.) Persephone used to be my top number 1 but the rework while I still like playing her she is way way less fun than she used to be.
i like all roles equally but seeing my rop 10 i could be called a support main. 10. terra 9. kumba 8. bellona 7. khepri 6. nu wa 5. scylla 4. nike 3 chaac 2 ymir 1. artio

I was just looking at the nasa timeline video and that was literaly perfect. i'm actually freaked out.
King Arthur is fun because you have to get a new keyboard after mashing your face on it after every match

as a non OG inter watcher, my guess would have been nox because he always says how much he liked her before the rework, but then my _original_ guess would have been ama and bellona who are both on the list.
My favourite since release and had come to take their throne in my heart is Cthulhu, the true terror that he drives his enemies and the different playstyle of a Guardian showing off in solo really fun, not to mention, ulting and seeing all of the enemy team as little insects while u control the whole team fight to favor ur team is really badass
If he ever is gonna get surpassed, I think the only ones who can do it are Yog-Sothot, Nyarlathotep, Azathot, or The King In Yellow, basically someone on the same pantheon.
“King Arthur is the most recent release on this list”
Tsukuyomi: am I a joke to you
Also your first rank x was artemis
5 each from 5 to 1:
mage: discordia, hera, kuk, janus, he bo
support: sobek, slyvanus, cerberus, fafnir, athena
assassin: awilix, loki, da ji, pele, susano
hunter: rama, medusa, apollo, cherno, amc
warrior: gilga, bellona, chaac cu chullain, king arthur
top 5 in general:
5. pele
4. cu chulain
3. king arthur
2. susano
In summary: CO-SIGNED because that was some real shit you said
no order aside from my number 1
Athena, most played god. Made me fall in love with support. Taunt and ult are crazy and even with an outdated dash, it still puts in work
Bellona, the god that made me love solo. Her release was ofc disgustingly broken and the old deaths toll had me playing her probably once a day
Isis, Eset whatever.
A super satisfying stun, crazy dps, both are very similar gods to me so i didn’t feel like i could split them
Ullr is another one of those ADCs i love but didn’t really start enjoying until I moved to PC. Axes and switching stances is just so much smoother and I recently found a lot of success even tho he isn’t the best atm
Fafnir. I played A TON of fafnir around season 5ish. I was a support main, flipping around but Fafnir and Athena were always the main two if i wanted to win. Dragon damage is awesome, my occasional spicy fafnir mid is so much fun. Stun, crazy dash, good damage, all of it. Love me some fafnir
Ymir.
Always a good time
Honorable Mentions to Ra (snipes for days), Vulcan (beef cake, obnoxious, hard snipes but fun), Sylvanus (great ult, pulls are fun, DOT damage on the heal is a good bonus), Erlang (jungle specifically), Amaterasu (so much depth, hard to be really good at, love the old guan ult being put on her kinda), Scylla (big damage), Mercury (speedy boy, big basics, love to CC people w 3 or ult) and Kuzenbo (i love being obnoxious)
Ahh maybe that's why I find her boring
My top 10
1.Bakasura
2.Janus(my only diamond)
3.Raijin
4.Tsukuyomi
5.Awilix
6.Loki
7.Danzaburou
8.Gilgamesh
9.Mulan
10.Baba yaga/Agni (couldn't decide)
Always found gods with some kind of supportive feature to be my most enjoyable. But not true supports. There is a difference between HAVING TO heal your team, because it is your role, and DECIDING to just heal your team out of combat. Guan Yu, Chang'e, Tiamat, Terra. Also i like that they can be built both dmg and tanky depending on situation. I simply cant feel satisfaction if i m stuck with just being meatshield with control or just a selfish glass cannon without any option to actually make my teammates life a little less miserable. (but i wont rely on them too much, i have met too many assholes to do that)
10.Jormangandr-he’s a big snek what more do you need
9. Amaterasu -The first god I played and newest god at the time when I first played smite so she holds a special place in my heart
8.Scylla- “I’m the wolf🐺 “ nuff said
7.Morrigan- hit and run play style that I fuckin love plus her voice lines are always the best
6.Jing Wei- “Oh hey fam” 🦅
5.Chang’e -Simple yet effective
4.Aphrodite- A true Queen
3.Medusa-My favorite lore goddess I used to always read Greek mythology books and loved her story
I agree azula is one of the best but you can't top toph
Current favorites:
1: Baron Samedi - Amazing design and personality, but is also very versatile and can fit a lot of roles (including my two favorites, Mid and Solo)
2: Sun Wukong - A really fun kit that’s easy to grasp as a beginner, but also has a lot of complexity as you learn more and more
3: King Arthur - The way his abilities combo with each other reminds me of a fighting game
4: Cthulhu - An amazing design and a really unique kit that rewards you using your abilities as well as your auto attacks correctly
5: Kuzenbo - Really fun kit that’s a blast to play in Solo
6: Camazotz - Crazy sustain that makes him incredibly fun to play, especially in Solo
7: Heimdallr - Really interesting design for a hunter and can really get a lot out of using his abilities correctly
8: Vulcan - Really fun kit that lends itself to some interesting strats, mostly with his turret
9: Odin - Bird bomb is one of the most satisfying things to land
10: Apollo - Being a music major, I’m gonna be biased toward the god of music
Honorable mentions: Jormungandr, Cu Chulainn, Ravana, Agni, and Raijin
Top 3 for each role (Support Main)

3. Nu wa
4. Achilles
5. Amaterasu
6. Nemesis
7. Izanami
8. Persephone
9. Scylla
10. Baba Yaga
Ne zha, Erlang, Nike, Mercury, Nu wa, Thor, Discordia, Athena, Heim, He bo
I remember when I first got in to smite in season 5 and I was watching spl cyno was killing it as ne zha and I was like :o I wanna do that and he's been my main ever since
My personal top 10 are Susano, Cabrakan, Pele, Ravana, Sobek, Kumbhakharna, KIng Arthur, Tyr, and Morrigan.
2. Hachiman - probably the only hunter I feel comfortable playing and I don't know why
3. Cu Chulainn - I started playing him at the beginning of season 7 before he was played HEAVILY.
4. Wukong - my safe pick in ranked and if I want to try different builds that probably shouldn't work
5. Susano - combo and AA cancels are so satisfying
Honorable mentions to: Kubro, cerberus, Terra, and Erlang. Bet you can't guess my two highest played roles.
10. Thor 9. King Arthur 8. Pele 7. Janus 6. Athena 5. Apollo 4. Merlin 3. Skadi 2. Mercury 1. Thanatos (I'm a bungler if you can't tell lol)
Could you do your 10 least favorite gods?
My bet Arachne is number one on that list
@@orange51599 aphro
1. The Morrigan, most fun ult in the game, sneaking around is fun, love the Assassin/Mage hybrid playstyle
2. Cthulu, a fun, high damaging guardian with an insane ult, but you can build him super defensevly as well
3. Jormungandr, I always end up winning with this guy, his sneaking is fun, managing pools is cool and his ult is awesome to use
4. Anubis, Some of the highest damage in the game, simple, but really fun
Inter: "I enjoy aggressive gods..."
Cu Chulanin: "Am I a joke to you?"
Video idea: a multi part series showing gods in their release order and a little description of how much fun they were to play as or against at release versus now.
Just started playing this game as my first moba and I’m absolutely loving Thor. You recommended him in one of your videos and I’m having a blast with thor
Baron is reason why i started playing smite
New channel sounds very cool and interesting, I'm excited to check it out 👍
I usually play solo but besides that I don't have a secondary role, I just play any of the other 4 roles, anyways my top 10 favorite gods are:
1.- Amaterasu, I simply love her kit and her versatility, I play her in solo and jungle going from full tanky or bruiser to full AA dmg in the jg, her passive, 1 and ult are amazing late game.
2-. Artio, even tho she's a guardian I mostly play her in solo since the start of season 8 I've loved the versatility in builds you can go with Artio, from the starter upgrades 3 are amazing on her for different reasons, sundering axe makes her really tanky and the health steal is easy to proc with her druid's 3, bumba's hammer makes Artio spam more abilities than a 40%cdr king arthur, Gem of Focus makes her tankier with the dmg mitigation while making her go faster and do more dmg, everything you, as a bonus alternate timeline is also good on her (not on the level of the other 3 imo)
3-. King Arthur, hahahaha buttons go brr, in all honesty I love the combos you can do with him and being able to 1v3 is amazing xD
4.-Athena, again other guardian that I play more on another role in her case jungle and sometimes solo, her ult is amazing and the rest of her kit is really good against a lot of gods, plus she's been really strong this season.
My top 10:
1. Anubis
Nu Wa, Chang e, Baba Yaga and Ah Puch are my favorites.
I really enjoy Hercules he was one of the first gods i picked up but honestly right now my number one would probably be Ares he's so fun
My favorite solo laner rn is nike because A) I live the hyper agro style and B) cause I wanna breath through the early game. My favorite mid is Ra, going full glass canon and seeing what happens is fun to me
My top 10:
10. Rama
9. Chernobog
8. Jorg
7. Sylvanus
6. Ratataskor
5. Hades
4. Zhong Kui
3. Kuzenbo
2. Baba Yaga
1. Ganesha
Hel, The Morrigan, and Change (but in solo lane) are my top 3 favorites. Le Fey is really fun as well though and may take Change's spot soon.
My personal Favorite Gods:
Plus, he looks cool
My honorable Mentions:
Kukulkan - The first mage I really learned. I still play him to this day
Erlang Shen - I love jungling with this guy, he nearly carried me to platinum a while back.
King Arthur - The first warrior I really tried. Like I said, stance switching FTW.
Artio - Beefy, aggressive, stance swapping, and can be a support. need I say more?
Thanks to your vids I’ve been maiming Persephone a whole lot but I still run Arachne, Nu Wa, and Susano from time to time.
I don't really have a top 10, but I have a favourite in each class
Warriors: Mulan (hi rez pls more Mulan buffs she's so bad)
Assassins: Nemesis
Mages: Janus
Guardians: Sobek
Hunters: Rama
Mine are:
1:Hel
2:Thoth
3:Ratatasker
4:Serquet
5: Morgan le fey
6: persephone m(BEFORE REWORK)
7: Athena
8: ra
9: awilix
10: sunwukong
Mid/jungle is my roles, 10 to1 are Morgan, erlang, discordia, nu wa, Medusa, zeus, ne zha, Achilles, arachne, hades
My top 10 kinda varies
1. Hercules by far
2. Tsukuyomi
3. Skadi
4. Tyr
5. Artio
6. King Arthur
7. Merlin
8. Pele
9. Ratatoskr
10. Guan yu
As a king Arthur player and a die hard fan of that god, it puts a smile on my face seeing another person who loves the spinny boi
Top 5 would probably be:
5: Danza
4: Anubis
3: Thanatos
2: Ullr
1: Fenrir
10. Kuzenbo
9. Baron Samedi
8. Bellona
7. Poseidon
6. Fafnir
5. Hel
4. Yemoja
3. Geb
2. Khepri
1. Erlang Shen
Top 10- Osiris is 1 for me love the design and kit. Sun Wukong, Cu chu, zhonger, Poseidon, danza, King Arthur , Achilles, hachiman, baron
I just started the game today and I've played Bellona my first 7 games and won all of them.
anyone else want to tell him, or should i?
@@charlescharvaka6425 you tell him I was about to but you break it to him
My number one fav god with always be rat for all time but a tie for second is horus and set
1: Thanatos - damage on the 1 and 4 are just crazy in all stages of the game
2: Ullr - just an op hunter with really strong abilities
3: Rat - a strong versatile god in either jungle or solo (from what ive seen in game)
4: Scylla - just lane pressure and she does fuck tons of damage in all stages of the game and has a very strong kit
5: Bellona - overall one of the most balanced gods on the game imo, a true solo laner with good boxing and good early game sustain with her 3 and passive
6: Sol - extremely strong in mid-late game, high damage output and good early sustain
7: Amaterasu - pretty much same reasons as you tbh
8: Fafnir (damage) - not a whole lot to say about this one tbh, early bandcrofts and spear of deso and you do good damage with the added benefits of being a bit tanky by default
9: Freya - Op asf with high single target damage and good sustain
10: Susano - while i havent enjoyed susano a lot recently, hes a god ive had a lot of fun with in the past and still think he's an extremely fun god to play, especially when ur good with him
And that's my top 10 favorite gods and why :D
As far as a top 10 idk if i could ever do a full top 10. I know my tops for each class. My #1 will always be Bastet, my main. Something about her playstyle just clicks with me and even when everyone was ranking her as F tier i was still popping 25-2 games on the regular in conq. Its a playstyle thing, if it clicks with you youre gunna have a good time, if it doesnt click just right youre gunna struggle, doesnt click at all enjoy the pain, it’ll be over soon enough.
top 10 gods
10. Amaterasu
9. King Arthur
8. Scylla
7. Xing Tian
6. Kulkulkan
5. Skadi
4. Nox
3. Chang'e
2. Osiris
1. Kephri
"Why do you thick this character is top tier?"
"He's a barrel of laughs."
I've been playing a loooot of Chu Chulainn recently, he's very cool and fun 😎
He's so fun in team fights, especially on the tail end or at the very beginning, just ulting straight into rage mode and messing up all the enemies.
I'm so shit with him if I could be him without dying so much I'd love to play him more
I would go with:
Athena, old Pers, Seth, He Bo, Odin, and maybe Aphro
Chaac has a chocolate bunny skin so... top 1 for me
Nox, Sol, Medusa, Jing Wei and Yemoja are my top 5 atm and my highest ranked gods as well.
4:44 Artemis, you talked about her in the video about your favorite Gods from a couple years ago
10: Awilix (showed me the power of teamwork when I was learning the game)9: Serqet (putting the poison on and knowing there's nothing they can do so u just walk away is funny) 8:Hachiman (my favorite hunter to go mid with especially now with bluestone back) 7: Rama (I love snipes) 6: Ymir (og tank plus a fun jungler) 5: Tsukiyomi (dmg dmg dmg)4: Nox(if they rework her ill be sad) 3:Kukulkan (combine why I love serqet but with tornadoes and why I love Rama) 2: Poseidon (First God I ever got diamond and Ole reliable for mid) 1:Ra (I really really really love snipes)
Honorable mentions Janus(while I love snipes I'm trash at every other aspect of the character) and Scylla (another long term reliable pick plus the star of my favorite world championship clip)
Which world championship?
@@abrarhasan6137 season 1 cog prime but Paul's Scylla was nutz.
The fact that I've never heard "faceroll" before but figured it out what it meant just because you used it for King Arthur...
Da Ji, Izanami, Morgan Le Fey, and Scylla are currently my mains
My favorite is Baron, best personality, awesome kit and voiced by Edward Bosco
Gotta love how all of his favorites are great to decent solo gods
Suprisingly, Hades became my sort of new go to pick, and with the buff to his ult, I just enjoy him even more (I may or may not be prepared for the incoming hate for me being a Hades and Poseidon main)
Edit: I've also recently been playing a ton of Horus and he's proving to be super fun. He's an honourable mention, but if I continue to play him he might just overthrow Fafnir as number 5
Watching this after watching your least fav gods video is interesting bc your favourite combines all of the problems you have with the gods you like the least.
Not bashing your love of King Arthur, it’s just interesting
Erlang shen, artemis, chronos, nemesis, and ao kuang are my top five
i havent been playing a lot of ao kuang lately, but thats mainly because ive been relegated to carry/solo with my friend group since nobody wants to carry
My favs rn are Anhur, Hades and Hel :))
Mine are Cupid, Thanatos and Izanami :)
Tsukuyomi mid and Athena jungle are my favorite picks... i swear I'm not a troll
Just to jump in and provide my to 10 for ya lol
10: Sun Wukong
9. Nike
8. Ravana
7. Ullr
6. Chaac
5. Fafnir
4. Artio
3. Pele
2. Baron Samedi
1. Gilgamesh
Tyr is so fun to play, juggling the enemy team around and killing their carries before they have time to hit the ground is the best feeling ever
Inter should play chaac in every role
It's very fun Trust me!
It really is
Circles go brrrr
#10: kuzenbo
#9: kuzenbo
#8: kuzenbo
#7: kuzenbo
#6: kuzenbo
#5: Jesus
#4: kuzenbo
#3: kuzenbo
#2: Chicken from Realm Royale
#1: Crit Vamana
I’m literally in the same position on Erlang as you. Got bodied by him on release in season 3 but never looked at him until season 5
Love the idea for your second channel. Fermi Paradox is a great first topic!
For me at the moment it would be:
Terra
Amaterasu
Morgana
Susano
Nu Wa
Ra
Bellona
The Morrigan
Artio
Kali
Always love me some Terra, especially with her new skin.
Have not tried the king yet gotta try him as he seems very fun
Danzabouru, hades, Poseidon, Zeus, bellona chaac Osiris, Morgan le fay, Morrigan, loki my top 10, I really love this characters
Thana, fen, Bellona, ama, and herc are the gods I enjoy the most
I always felt bad having Arthur as my favorite warrior to play since he's a meme machine in the lower ranks but you just made me feel a lot better about it
1) Ymir
2) Athena
3) Baron Samedi
4) Vamana
5) Chiron
6) Guan Yu
7) Anubis
8) Ares
9) Khepri
10) Neith
All full damage except Khepri, Ares, Vamana, and Guan.
My favorite God is probably the Morrigan. Her ult for me always makes her feel fresh, and makes her skill ceiling quite high. Also her invis is fun to use to get away with lol.
Morrigan is so much fun to play. I love her so much. My all time favorite god besides Arty and Horus
glad to see nem, bellona and tsukuyomi here my 3 fav gods
I understand all of these except ama, she plays like chalk
Immediately subbed to the new channel. Keep the grind goin’ brother
we got arthur, bellona, erlang , tsukuyomi and amaterasu in common
Sol is probably my favorite god atm, but my first rank X's were Scylla and Mulan. I'm also loving Artio. Only guardian I've really enjoyed thus far
Good set and enjoyed the insight. My top favorite is Ne Zha (I'm pretty sure 8 stars will tell anyone he's my main 😂😂)
im just saying hirez really needs to balance gods before release. the only god recently that didnt ship busted af i would say is babayaga thats about it from memory. and i took a break after the tanuki but so far that thing is annoying to fight so. im assuming he was also face roll easy.
Awilix man she’s so fun and each kill can be gotten a different way and she can build couple different ways that are all fun
My top ten in no particular order.
KA, pele, rat, nu wa, Xian tian, Cthulhu, Neith, Tera, chang'e, and a goddess the both hate and love Jing Wa
Kuzenbo is your profile picture, I have been bamboozled
My top 5 gods are baba, Morgan, morrigan, Persephone, and Tiamat (you can guess which role i main the most lol.) Persephone used to be my top number 1 but the rework while I still like playing her she is way way less fun than she used to be.
i like all roles equally but seeing my rop 10 i could be called a support main.
