Thank you for watching!
Hi Marina, does it matter if I need to pay in US dollars? thx
@@MTNurse hI Shelaah, I think you you can pay in any currency! Which language are you looking to learn?
@@WildSheGoes Hi Marina, I think I would like to start with Spanish.
All those cats and dogs! 😊
Nice to see that they aren't abandoned and that you kindly gave them some attention and food.
A society that cares about animals is a civilised society.
One of my favorite parts of watching your videos is the music that you pick to go with them. So lovely, thanks for another enjoyable video. :-) xo
Yep, the selected music by Marina is lovely.
Ahh thank you that really makes me happy, choosing the music is what takes me the longest 😄
You know, I love her soundtrack too. It gives the videos a lovely and happy atmosphere...
Wild she goes always makes you smile with her beautiful ways 👍
I think you are so brave! I don't know if I would be brave enough to just drive off in a minivan on my own and go wherever my fancy would take me. It seems wonderful though and I'm glad you're sharing your adventures with us!
About the stray animals: Many years ago, I worked for a few months in Kalithea on the greek island of Rodos. It was the same situation there, homeless cats and dogs everywhere. It was really sad to see so many malnourished and mistreated animals. I wished I could take them all home with me.
It really is heartbreaking
Big difference in temperature re Greece and Bulgaria. You are very brave to embark on these interesting journeys. Stay safe, please. I'm so glad that you are 'taking us along'. Thank you.
Thank you, for taking me on your journey. It feels like a gift. It's beautifull.
Wow such beautiful scenery! I'm especially loving the stone work. My heart goes out to all the sweet, but sadly homeless, cats and dogs ❤️
You are such a brave soul.
She's inspirational, so independent. Go Marina!
Your lifestyle shows great wisdom... having a comfortable permanent residence as a base... and the freedom of a mobile/RV life when you want to travel.
It's very refreshing and reassuring ,with so much of Europe caught up in the mindless, fratracidal war fever, to see someone continuing with a normal life. You ... as always.. display common sense and demonstrate that you are indeed an independent, free thinking person.
Enjoy your travels and please... stay safe.
Thank you Donald
Thank you Marina for sharing your simple way of living and traveling!
Lovly hello from Lolland Denmark xpost Bjarne thanks for video 🌐♨️🏞🌄🐶🐈🐈🐈🐈🏁🇮🇹🇬🇷🇩🇰🚐🥰
💗Bulgaria has everything Greece has for a fraction of the price. 💗
Hi Marina 🎉 Loved the video as usual, hope the next one you will be in a warmer place, lots of ❤️ Tony 🇬🇧xx
As recently 2 years ago, I did a number of solo road trips in the Western US as a 66-year old female.
Im aware of my surroundings and don’t do anything stupid and really never think about ‘danger’
We have break-ins, car thefts, etc all the time in my wealthy San Francisco area county …. But I simply cannot spend every day worrying about what Might happen here or on the road.
All that said, I did get hopelessly lost in the Italian Alps above Lake Como a few years ago and nothing I tried got me out of the thick old Roman forest. Fortunately, I had enough battery left in my phone to call a friend who called a friend who called someone in the Menaggio area who then called the Italian Mountain Rescue Service which sent a helicopter to come looking for me. I was SO embarrassed to be the silly American Tourist lost on a mountain !!!!
You Go Marina! ❤
Truly…that dog belongs with you…
Buongiorno e complimenti! Lei è una donna assai coraggiosa.
Hi Marina. I feel for those animals out in the cold. Bless you for giving them food & attention. Lovely ornate buildings there. Look after yourself till next time xx
Marina you have chosen the wrong time to visit Bulgaria. I was there summer travelled from Varna to Nessebar on a cometa. Best holiday ever. You really need to go back in the summer. In Varna I have visited the very first school. Even I had to put my had down to get inside the building. The class table is a box filled up with sand and using sticks to write in it. Absolutely facinating history there in Bulgaria. Enjoy keep warm and safe.🫂 from sunny Australia. We had a few days ago 42°C we were melting. Now only 31 much better. If you wish to warm up you are welcome to come 😊.
Hello from British Columbia Canada
🇨🇦🖐👍♥️🌲🌳🚍🚐🛣🚐🚍🌳🌲🥳😎🤔
Very good video again Marina. The difference between a monk and a friar is…Monks are meant to remain in one place while friars can move around.
Another fabulous adventure 😊 thank you for taking us along & for feeding all the wonderful puppas & puss cats 💞.. already waiting for next week.
Absolutely beautiful scenes both land and drone. Mariana, I love that you’re never in a rush. You take the opportunity to stop and check out amazing places even if they are out of the way a little. ❤❤
Lovely, Marina. It’s so great to see you go wherever takes your fancy.
Hiiii from BG! Yes in Bulgarian is da (да). Safe travels! ^_^
My daughter has travelled throughout Europe staying at Nunneries and Monasteries - very inexpensive and most decent.
I went traveling in S.E Asia many moons ago and ended up in Laos with no plan. I did not know what to expect but having been primarily an urban dweller, moving between busy city life and empty beach life, I had no experience of trekking nor exploring and Lao was my first adventure. I was blown away by what lay inside mountains! Cave exploration was incredible and was the highlight of my time there - everything from strange, tiny local spots to enormous caverns that could hide armies. It was this trip that eventually led me to go to Nepal.
That's a very cleaver way to travel!
It's so hard for me to see so many homeless Critters, I can't understand how these countries don't enforce pet ownership laws. Your trips always make me want to hit the road again. Thank you for another great video. 😊
here they don't care about humans, they will care about animals ?
Greece has had economic hardships plus an influx of refugees (millions pass through) it’s important not to Judge “these countries” if this situation touches you, consider helping?
Access to free it cheap spay/neuter programs and Trap, Neuter, Return programs are much more effective for curbing animal colonies. Most of the animals you see on the streets never belonged to anyone. Keeping pets is a cultural thing and some cultures perceive community animals as totally normal. What they lack is affordable ways to care for community animals.
I feel the same it’s difficult !
Great adventures you are having. Thankyou for showing those cute towns and monasteries! I have no idea of these Europe is amazing 😊. T. 🇭🇲🐞
Being a Jeep owner, the muddy park looked like it be fun.🤪
Stay warm and dry.
A fresh shower when you haven't been able to feels so good!
It's the best thing 😂
As others have said, a cheap code reader can be a big help with such vehicle faults - I bought myself one recently after a similar problem, the engine light coming up on a Sunday afternoon when everything was shut! Also, remember that those vans are sold under several brand names (Daihatsu, for example), so if they can't read Piaggio, they might be able to use one of the others.
So lovely to see you again! And see you travelling! Enjoy every moment 🤩
Your continue to surprise me with your road trips. Did you have a little diesel heater in your van? I forget.
The title could have been "Marina the Popsicle". Your love for animals always shines threw.
Take care, stay warm and have fun chasing the sun. (-11.4 C right now)
Brrrr! 🥶 no diesel heater just lots of layers 😄
@@WildSheGoes It was down to -45F for a couple of days here around the 21st of Dec.
Marina, you should purchase a code reader for your van, they are easy to use and will tell you what the check engine light is indicating. It includes a booklet for the codes,so you know what parts are in need of service. Get a medium priced one, they are very resonable, and they can be used on any vehicle you might have. It will also help you keep the mechanic's honest. Wishing you safe travels
Hi Lane, I'll definitely get one when I'm back home! So useful to have.
Great to see you out on the road again making informative videos. Recently sold my VW T5 camper and your video is rearlly making me miss the van 👍🏴🏴
You can order the traditional menu "mish mash" in the Mehana's. They do have only vegetabel dishes or you can always ask
nice to catch up thanks or should I say Buon Viaggio , Derek x
Evening Marina, the cats and dog whisper strikes again! Hard to know that there are so many uncared for animals just left to wonder and fend for themselves. Thanks for another trip round Europe country's with their interesting heritage and culture. Safe travels.
Thank you Marina for sharing your adventures! 🤩🤩Visit Greece is definitely on my wish list although Bulgarian monastery looks tempting as well😊
While your driving around, please take a detour to Svezia!↪↩😃
Since im here... 😂
@@WildSheGoes It´s not that far away!😁
5 degrees Celsius????!!!!! 41 degrees Fahrenheit....Marina, Marina, Marina. Stay warm! Happy Valentines Day! Yasou!!!
It got worse!! 😂🥶
@@WildSheGoes In Alaska they call it a 3 dog night.
"Clooty Well" sends it's regards. Sun been shining, quite mild for time of year and HAzel Catkins are showing lovely fressh green. No wonder you have been getting poor weather - chucking all that catz n dogs, ( you must have stood in a few poodles ( wee joke ) ) I'm sure the countryside would have been so meach better in warm sunshine, otherwise it looks just like here on a bleak miserable day! Keep those wheels turning! best wishes.
😂😂😂
You are the animal whisperer!
Spanakopita is my favourite, I could eat tons of it !
There were stray cats in Hersonissos, Crete, they used to hang around a restaurant and I would give them some fish if I was having a fish meal. There was also a colony of feral cats in Benidorm, on waste ground, a local would feed them in the evenings. Quite a few in Albufeira, Portugal, as well.
You should go to Romania. It’s a beautiful country, with very nice people. Try to get to Transilvania. Through Transfagarasan.
Enjoy the trip Marina !
Heyyy, welcome to Bulgaria. You should come in may or june during the rose festivals in rose valley. ♥♥
Hi Marina,
I'm very happy that you decide to visit Bulgaria even in the cold weather right now. This is my own country. Next time you could visit Kazanlak and Karlovo in the Roses valley. On May we celebrate the Festival of roses. Highly reccomendet 🙂
I'd love to be back! It's beautiful!
No, no, no! You didn't take the wrong way! ;) Taking the road to Bulgaria and visiting the Rila monastery was a great choice and as u said earlier - you almost light a candle there, right! Which for a non religious person says a lot ;) Marina, I am happy to see youon the road in the two countries I callmy home - Bulgaria, the country I was born and Greece - where I found my love and my current home! As I wrote earlier you are always welcome to stay to ourplace or justfor some random ideas the next time u visit this side of the world. In the meantime - we are with you watching your videos and enjoying your company. Greetings!
Thank you 🥰 Bulgaria is beautiful!
Hi Marina 💕💕💖💖!
I keep you in my 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
that you KEEP WARM & STAY SAFE 😘😘😘😘!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.....WE'ALL LUVLUVLUVLUV YOU!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Obviously you had the worst possible weather when you tried this trip. I know it was heavily snowing even at the southern part of Greece, but on the other hand you were all alone in this wonderful landscape. Since you are in the area, try a trip with the train from the village Taxiarches to Drama, travelling by the river Nestos. It's a magnificent path.
Safe travels.
luvu s0 much!
✌😘✌
Safe travels😊🇬🇧
Thank you for feeding all the animals you meet along your journey. Looking forward to watch your next vlog. Have a safe trip. Btw, I always keep a bag of cat food in my car too.
I love the places you visit, makes me feel so happy ❤️
It’s so lovely to see you exploring and adventuring again Marina
Loved this video! Sending you lots of love for your journey ahead!
First-time viewer. Lovely!
Lovely and kinda random!
Beautiful
That reminded me of the caves at Nerja in Spain.
Marina so beautiful.
Lovely, Marina. Thank you
Loved it! ❤
Viaggio in inverno! Winter trip!
Gorgeous video Marina, how Beautiful Greece and Bulgaria are, with gorgeous landscape and architecture. Thanks for taking us along beautiful drone shots and cozy spots to land, with many furry animals to pet. The wagon looks so cute on the road and looks to be the right size for the quaint towns, looking forward to more exploring, Safe and Happy travels >>>😃 ❤🐾👊
Hi Betzaida, im so glad i have a small van for those tight streets and corners!!
Giveing you a like
Hi Marina, nice to see you adventuring. Not surprised to see cats and dogs turning up, they knew you were on the way. Some folk must be caring for them, seeing beds and wee shelters for some of them is heartening. They didnt look skinny. Thanks for feeding them. How beautiful some of those buildings are. Enjoy your travels, and im looking forward to the next video. Take lots of care.....Alioban xx
Thanks for sharing your trip! Happy Valentine's day!!!💕💖💋🌹
Much drama in the drama lol, they don’t really shake their heads for no in Bulgaria surely? That’s just not right 😂, it’s dangerous 😂, beautiful scenes, good to see ya anyway 👻
I know right ?And I found out later that it's not really common for Bulgarian's to smile either. At least not to strangers. I found it so odd 😂,
Charming people eh 😂😂😂
Always thoroughly enjoy your adventures.
I just love to watch all of your adventures ❤❤❤❤❤❤ it’s so sweet you have food for the animals that you see . They are drawn to you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
sadly, my brain is to small for new languages.... nice trip.. so wonderful, thx for taking us with you!
My family used to own a flat in Bansko) nice place!
Really cool!
Nice
I’m glad you indulged in a little ‘luxury’ and managed a shower etc. The weather looked grim but good not to be a prisoner to it and at least you were able to have some adventures. You must have taken that animal food especially for those dogs and cats, how thoughtful. At least they had friends but so sad to see.
There is many shelter in Greece like dash in Kalamata, let's be smart near Athens and many organisations , give the money to them instead of an expensive application you'll use twice and forget...
Hi Flora, you'll find links to animal organizations in the description 🐕
@@WildSheGoes thank you , I'm already volunteer in one. Maybe use your voice for them as you see the situation is a nightmare in Greece and your voice is powerful. There is always a cat lady somewhere who desesperetly need help and support ❤️.
Hi Marina, how are the van electrics doing, have you managed to find out what the problem was and fix it? I hope you have no more problems on this trip : )
Hi Keith, The van hasn't gave me problems after Drama but I'll take it for a proper look when I get back home
@@WildSheGoes Excellent ! Fingers crossed 🤞 for you
beautiful cats & dogs most off them look so cute . oh yeah nice relaxing video , hope you are enjoying your sightseeing 😁😁see you on your next trip until next one stay warm and safe 😎
Great drone shots, wonderful guitar music, cute hat!🧡 Wonderful video as always!
Thank you Michael!
Marina, Thank you for sharing your adventures--so many wonderful things to see and do and so much love to share with all those furry friends. Loved the music, beautiful photography and the sacred sites you chose--most enjoyable. Joyful journeys!
Thank you Rae 🥰

Im with Troy hard to understand why there were so many homeless Dogs n Cats ,sad .......great vid though as always .
Never miss the Video.....always beautiful
🥰🥰🥰
Nice to see that you made a quick visit to Bulgaria, our neighbours. Maybe some day your adventure spirit will take you to Romania, my country. If you do that and by some kind of miracle our paths cross, I'll definerely greet you with a big, warm hug. :)
Marina you made my day. we are Canadian and we adopted are son from the orphanage in Blagoevgrad 18 years ago. The
Rila Monastery was a 40 minute drive from the orphanage . Nothing has changed ,I hope you got to drink the spring water that runs in the court yard at the Rila .
🥰
Well done Marina. Stay well and happy.
loved this tour! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Boa tarde
What a beautiful video Marina 👏👏👏!
Thank you Maria Antonietta 🤗
I’ve been to Greece a couple of times (Crete and Samos) and Bulgaria once. Sofia was interesting and then we went to a village/town called Svilengrad to stay before going out into the countryside somewhere nearby to look at a little old house my friend was buying for a holiday home. Very old world style to that area. Can’t recall the name but I think it was on the way to Plovdiv. Not sure if any of these places were close to where you went, though. 👍🏻
❤
✨🙏✨
Hi Girl!
Awesome video, all these nice stonewalls 🤗 and the monastery...very beautiful
All those dogs and cats, oh my...

Do you have wool blanket for keeping warm in the van?
